First of all, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported me in becoming a Championshow judge. A dream came true.

I would also like to thank The Scottish Kennel Club for their invitation to my first CC show, 

And a sincere thanks my stewards for the day, Gary Nicolson and Eric McPhail.

My thanks goes to all the exhibitors (who drove a lot of miles), for their entry and accepting my decisions in a sportive manner. 

I didn’t find any breathing issues, I did found some tight and some inverted canines, and lack of fitness. 

Overall I had a wonderfull day and I enjoyed every minute of it, and I was very pleased with my mainwinners

        Noucamp A Bronx Tale 

        Very attractive young 6 months old puppy. He is nice constructed in body. 

        He has a clean head with a very pleasing expression , well placed ears, nice dark eyes  

        He has a good front with good depth, is well angulated in front. he is short in back with a

        level topline. He moves well for a puppy, and shows much promise for the future. 

        I will be very interested to watch his development as he matures.

1st Davis & Davis, Mr K, Mr C & Mr C      

       Sharmara Fidelius Charm 

       10 months old brindle and white very attractive puppy dog.

       He has a nice clean well balanced head. Good length of muzzle well proportioned to the skull.

       He showes a good forechest with good width in front,and stands well on his well padded feet.

       Well angulation in front and rear, well ribbed for age, and holds his topline on the move,

       Moved well for age, he was presented very professionel , together they make a very good 

       team. 

       A promising youngster with a bright future ahead, 

       and I was very pleased to award him Best Puppy in Show.

2nd Campbell & Morrison , Miss K & Mr R   

    Makvolka Rogue Rider 

    9 months old black brindle with white on chest puppy dog. 

    Clean head with good length of muzzle, though lips could be tighter. 

    Neat ears, nice dark well placed eyes. When I lifted his lips to examine his dentation I was

    particulary surprised by the strength of his well placed canines !

    He has a nice front with good width and is well angulation in front and rear. He is up on his legs 

    He ribs needs to develope, wich should come with maturity.  

    1st was more compact in body and showed more expression in head.

    that’s why I placed him 2nd. 

3th Campbell & Morrison, Miss K & Mr R     

    Makvolka Haggisfang

    Litter brother to 2nd, 9 months old brindle boy, very enthusiastic youngster who wanted to 

    go to his mum. 

    He has just like his litter brother big well placed canines I was really pleased to see that. 

    Like his brother, he is slightly up on leg but he has a pleasing outline and is well balanced for 

    his age .

    He has a clean head with a pleasing expression, good width in front, good topline. 

    He is still very much a baby and needs time to settle, but there is plenty to like and I am sure

    he will come on well.

    Noucamp The Egyptian King  

    A well-balanced young black brindle dog with a pleasing masculine head.

    He has well-placed ears and dark, well-set eyes, together with a good underjaw and 

    correct dentation, good muzzle length and open nostrills. 

    He has a good front with pleasing width and stands well on well-padded feet.

    Good angulation front and rear, presented in fit condition. Slightly longer in loin, but overall a 

    very balanced youngster. Moved and handled well. 

2nd Kerry, Houwaart & Daley, Mr C & Mrs S & Miss K    

    Jacobeaus The Legacy 

    Standard black brindle young dog, well balanced throughout.

    He has a clean head with a pleasing expression, good length of muzzle, open nostrils, 

    and dark eyes, although set a little differently to the winner.

    He has a good forechest with pleasing width and stands well on well-padded feet.

    Like the winner, he is slightly longer in loin and is well angulated front and rear. 

    The first-placed dog was in slightly better condition on the day, 

    which is why I placed him second.

3th Courtney, Mrs D E      

    Dexilystaffs Northern Star 

    A red and white pied young top size dog, with good pigmentation to nose and eye rims.

    He has a pleasing overall outline,

    but he did not have the front width of the first and second placed dogs, which is why I placed 

    him third.

1st Bassford-Lane, Mr & Mrs J     

    Jojalane I Drink Wine JW 

    A red and white young dog with black mask, of very pleasing type.

    He has excellent pigmentation, a lovely expression, dark eyes, and well-placed ears. 

    Good length of muzzle with open nostrils.

    He has a good front with good width of chest, is well angulated front and rear, 

    and well sprung ribs 

    Presented in good condition, he moved well and held his topline on the move. His owner had to

   work hard to get the best out of him in the ring.

2nd Brown, Mr C    

    Arkenstaff Dark Spirit 

    A standard, compact black brindle young dog.

    He has a clean head, with a dark round eye, well-placed ears, good length of muzzle, 

    open nostrils, and a good underjaw.

    He has a good front and stands well on well-padded feet. He has a good topline, is presented in

    good condition, and moved well.

    I would have preferred a little more masculinity in head, which is why I placed him second.

3th Walsh & Lloyd , Mr M & Miss K   

   Geordiestoon Defiant Boy For Weorc

    A handsome brindle and white markings.

    He has a clean head, correct length of muzzle with open nostrils, and a well-constructed body 

    With correct angulation front and rear. Moved and handled well.

    Wellstaffs Young Warrior JW

    A standard black brindle dog, compact and well balanced throughout.

    He has a good, clean head with a pleasing expression, well-placed ears, and a dark eye. 

    Good length of muzzle with open nostrils.

    He has a good forechest with good width, stands well on well-padded feet.

    Good angulation front and rear, with good ribs, good topline and short coupled 

    Presented in a fit condition Moved well   

2nd Sinclair & Hayward, Ms C & Mr M  

    Glenskyra Lomond Lad JW

    A standard brindle dog with a clean head, good length of muzzle, open nostrils, 

    well-placed ears, and dark eyes.

    He lacks a little depth in forechest compared with the winner, stands well on well-padded feet.

    He has a good topline, is short coupled, and has good rear angulation. He moved well and was

    presented in good condition.

3th Heath, Ms A     

    Jodel’s Khalif  

    A red dog with white markings, very nice rich deep red colour.

    He has a clean head with good length of muzzle and open nostrils, well-placed ears,

    and a dark eye.

    Broad in forechest with good depth, well sprung ribs. He is well angulated front and rear 

   and was presented in good condition.

Class 1207 Limit Dog (8) abs (1) 

1st Chambers, Mr D 

    Kamaristaffs Royal Rascal At Innestaff

    A top-size black brindle dog, balanced throughout, with a beautifull masculine expression. 

    His head is strong but not overdone.    

    He has a dark eyes, well-placed ears, good length of muzzle with open nostrils, and a good

    underjaw.

    He has a good front with pleasing width, no weakness in his pasterns, well-placed shoulders,

    a good topline, he has ample ribs .

    Good bent of stifle with sound rear angulation, he moved nice through the ring.

    Presented in a very fit condition, a credit to his owner. 

    I was pleased to reward him with the RCC 

2nd Duncan, Mr A & Mrs G  

   Rhebelstaff Hunky Dory 

    A standard black brindle dog with an attractive, clean masculine head and lovely expression.

    He has a dark eye, well-placed ears, good length of muzzle with open nostrils, and a 

    good underjaw.

    He has a good forechest with pleasing width, stands well on well-padded feet, and shows no

    weakness in pasterns.

    He has good shoulder placement, well sprung ribs, good rear angulation with well-bent stifles, 

    on the day was a very enthusiastic dog.

    Nr 1 was in a fitter condition that’s why 2nd. 

3th James, Mr S R & Mrs R H     

    Luthais Loch Ness

    A standard, compact black brindle dog with a clean head, dark eye, and well-set ears.

    He has a good front, stands well on his feet, has a good topline, is short coupled, has good bend   

    of stifle, and moves well.

   Ch Kamaristaffs Royal Ransom At Bowtman JW

   What more can be said about this dog that has not already been said? 

   With so many CC’s to his name, and on this day his 30th CC! 

   he was once again presented in top fit condition and shown to perfection.

   He is a dog with a pleasing, strong masculine head, dark eye, and an excellent overall    

   Expression. Excellent substance and bone.  

   He has a good broad front, stands strongly on his well padded feet, strong neck into well-placed 

   Shoulders flowing into a lovely topline, a good ribcage, and short coupled, has good rear 

   angulation, and a correct tailset. Nice movement 

   I was pleased to give him the CC didn’t realised it was his 30th !! Well done and I’m sure there 

   will be more to come. 

2nd Murphy, Mr M & Mrs M & Miss S. 

   Ch Brockmar Top Boy 

   Black Brindle with white on chest top size dog. 

   Son of the winner, a lovely boy with a broad masculine head, good dark eye, and well-set ears.

   Good size of muzzle and open nostrills. 

   He has a broad forechest with sufficient depth in brisket and shows no weakness in pasterns. 

   He has good shoulder placement flowing into a pleasing topline.

   He has a little less rib than the winner and is slightly longer in loin, He is in a very nice fit 

   condition.

   Moves well and is handled in a very pleasing manner.

3th Stanway, Mr P T & Mrs E A,   

  Waystaffs Strikes Mayhem (AI)

   Pied red white topsize dog  

   A lovely type of dog with a masculine clean head, dark eye, and well-set ears.

   He has good pigmentation in nose and lips, a broad forechest with sufficient depth, 

   and good ribs.

   He has a nice topline, good front and rear angulation with well-bent stifles, and moves well.

1st Manito, Mr D    

    Ch Catstaff’s Used To 

    This 7-year-old black brindle dog is in the condition of a 2-year-old, presented in excellent fit 

    order, and has a wonderful temperament.

    He has a lovely masculine clean head with a slightly lighter eye, well-set ears, good length of 

    muzzle, and open nostrils.

    He has a good forechest with good depth, stands straight on well-padded feet, has good 

    shoulder placement flowing into a good topline, good bend of stifle, and a good tailset.

    He moved around the ring with a very pleasing gait. He pushed hard for RCC

    Aixit Baron Moley 

    A lovely compact black brindle dog with a pleasing outline.

    He has a masculine clean head with well-set ears, well-placed round dark eyes, and a good 

    underjaw.

    He has a broad front with good depth, stands straight on well-padded feet, and has good bone.

    In movement he holds his topline, has good bend of stifle and a good tail carriage, 

    and moved soundly around the ring.

2nd Tucker, Mr K & Mrs S,     

    Samtam The Raging Bull

    A still young red dog with a lovely overall presence.

    He has good pigmentation to the eye rims, nose, and lips, a nice dark eye, and good length of 

    muzzle with open nostrils.

    His forechest is a little less broad than 1st , he shows no weakness in pasterns and has good ribs 

    and a good topline.

    He has good bend of stifle, a good tailset, and moved soundly around the ring.

3th Wilkie, Miss J   

   Geordiestaff Toon Army 

   A standard brindle dog with a clean masculine head and a lovely expression, without being 

   overdone.

   He has a nice dark eye, well-placed ears, a good underjaw, a good front but shows a little

   weakness in his pasterns , and good shoulder placement. He has a straight topline, short 

   coupled. Good angulated in the rear good tailset.

   Geordiestaff Local Hero 

   A black brindle dog with white on chest and a lovely compact body.

   He has a strong head with a nice expression, well-placed ears, a good dark eye, a good stop,

   and a good underjaw. I would prefer a little more length of muzzle.

   He has good front and rear angulation, good ribs, a correct tailset, and moved well around the 

   ring.

3th Irvine, Mrs G & Mr R  

   Ashstaff Marshal of Fire 

   A black brindle and white dog with no exaggerations.

   He has a good head, dark eye, good ear, and a pleasing length of muzzle with open nostrils.

   He has a good forechest with strong feet and a good topline, although he is a little straighter in 

   rear angulation.

    She still has her puppy movement, but held her topline on the move.

    She has a broad front with good width, stands straight on well-padded feet, has good bone, 

    well-developed ribs for her age, a good topline which she held on the move, and good rear 

    angulation.

    She was presented in fit condition. I was pleased to reward her Best puppy Bitch 

2nd Brookes, Mrs J     

    Bullbrothers Celtic Star 

    A red puppy bitch with white on chest and a lovely feminine clean head.

    She has good pigmentation to the eye rims, nose, and lips. Well-set ear, a dark round eye, and 

    good length of muzzle with open nostrils.

    She has a good forechest with good depth, good spring of rib for age.

    and good angulation front and rear. I would have preferred tighter feet, movement was OK.

3th Johnson, Mrs K & Mr M,   

    Bethleese’s Dammit Janet By Tillcarr

    A black brindle puppy bitch with a feminine head, not overdone.

    She has a lovely dark round eye, well-set ears, and good length of muzzle with open nostrils.

    She stands well on well-padded feet, has a level topline, well-developed ribs for her age, and is

    well angulated in front and rear.

Class 1214 Junior Bitch (11) abs (2) 

1st Louison, Mr L     

    Virtue Is Its Own Reward King Of Caribs 

    A standard black brindle bitch with great ring presence; when she is in the ring, she is   

    impossible to overlook.

    She has a lovely strong feminine head, not overdone, with a good dark eye, well-set rose ear, 

    good length of muzzle with open nostrils, clean lips, and a strong underjaw.

    She has a good forechest with pleasing width, stands well on well-padded feet, and has good 

    shoulder placement flowing into a lovely topline which she held on the move. She has well 

    sprung ribs, although she is a little longer in loin.

    She has well-angulated stifles, good tail carriage, moved freely around the ring. She was shown 

    in a fit condition. 

    I was pleased to award her the RCC. I’m Curious how she will develope in the future. 

2nd Clark, Mr S & Mrs S   

   Albamadra Perfect Ilusion 

   Red and white very attractive female , feminine head with no exaggerations, 

   good pigmentation in eyerims and nose. 

   Well-placed dark eyes and good ears. She has a good length of muzzle with open nostrils, 

   stands well on her well-padded feet, good broad forechest with sufficient width,   

   well-placed shoulders, well-developed ribs, short-coupled.

   Good front and rear angulations, has good movement.

   I would have liked to see a fitter a fitter condition, that’s why 2nd. 

3th Pickett & Partridge, Miss A S & Miss Z    

   Valglo Kiss Me Quick 

   Black brindle with white on chest bitch. She has a femine nice clean head. 

   Good round dark eyes, well set ears. Correct muzzle length with open nostrills.

   Nice front with good width, well padded feet. She has well sprung ribs floating into a nice

   topline. A bit longer in loin well angulated in front and rear I prefer a bit more fitter in condition.

1st Murphy, MR M & Mrs M & Miss S    

      Brockmar Steal The Show 

      Black brindle bitch with white marking on the chest, of excellent type. She presents a very

      attractive and feminine head, clean in outline, with well-set ears, dark expressive eyes, and a 

      good muzzle length with open nostrils.

      She shows good bone and a well-developed, broad front with good depth of chest. Her

      shoulder placement is pleasing, with well-sprung ribs and a strong, level topline. Short in loin,

      which contributes to a balanced overall picture. She has good angulation of the hindquarters.

      On the move, when settled, she showed sound and fluent movement. She was presented to

      perfection by her handler, I saw a strong connection between them.

      She competed strongly for the Reserve CC and has a very promising future ahead.

2nd Fry & Mcgeachan Miss C & Mrs S  

     Brockmar Dream On 

     Black brindle feminine bitch of pleasing type. She presents a very attractive, clean and feminine

     head, with well-set ears and a lovely dark, round eye. She has good length of muzzle with open 

     nostrils and a strong underjaw.

     She has good bone and a well-constructed front with adequate depth of chest. Stands well on

     well-padded feet, and is correctly angulated both in front and behind. Her ribbing could be a

     little more developed, and she is slightly longer in loin than the first-placed, which accounts for

     her second placing.

3th Willetts & Billingham Miss G & Mr M 

   Hamason Heart’s On Fire JW

   White with red pied bitch. Slightly taller than the first and second placed, but well-balanced

   overall. She presents a clean head with a pleasing expression, good length of muzzle, and open

   nostrils. She has a lovely dark, round eye.

   Shows a good front with ample width. I would have preferred neater feet. She has well- 

   developed ribs and a level topline. Correctly angulated both in front and rear, though she is a

   little longer in loin. Good movement and was presented in fit condition.

Class 1216 Post Graduate Bitch (14) abs (3)

1st Rochelle & Rochelle & Rochelle & Kirk, Mr T & Mr L & Mr M & Miss G 

    Metalbull Black Pearl

    Black brindle with white markings, presenting a very pleasing overall picture. She stands slightly

    higher on the leg, yet remains well-balanced and in proportion. Her temperament is delightful 

    and reminds me very much of one of my own bitches.

    She has a clean, feminine head with a lovely, typical expression, well-set rose ears, and a dark

    eye. Shows a straight forechest with good depth, correct shoulder placement, and well

    developed ribbing.

    She is well angulated in front with good bend of stifle behind, and has a correct tail set. On the

    move, she covers the ground with ease, displaying excellent, fluent movement.

    A very attractive and well-constructed bitch.

2nd Matthews, Mrs J     

    Janjoma Hearts Desire 

    Black brindle standard bitch in good balance. She presents a pleasing, feminine head with well

    set rose ears and a lovely dark eye. Good length of foreface, complemented by a strong

    underjaw.

    She has a well-constructed front with a good depth of chest and stands correctly on well

    padded feet. Ribbing is adequately developed, and she maintains a firm, level topline. Shows

    good bend of stifle and correct hind angulation, with a well-set tail.

    Moves soundly with good reach and drive.

    Today, the first-placed exhibit showed slightly better overall muscle condition, which I prefer, 

    and this influenced the final placing.

 3th Wells, Mr K & Mrs L  

    Wellsstaffs Shine A Light JW

    Standard black brindle bitch of good type. She presents a pleasing, clean and feminine

    expression. Displays a well-constructed front with good depth of chest.

    She is correctly angulated in both forequarters and hindquarters, with a strong, level topline.    

    Moves freely and efficiently around the ring, covering the ground with ease.

    Presented in good, fit condition.

1 st Bennet, Miss R       

   Sikaistaff Thug Rose For Elmissico JW

   A beautiful standard black brindle bitch of very pleasing type. She presents a feminine, clean

   head with a truly lovely expression; her dark eyes are particularly captivating. Clean through the 

   muzzle with well-opened nostrils, and a strong and underjaw.

   She has a correct front with good depth of chest and stands well on well-padded feet. 

   Good shoulder placement and a firm topline, which she maintains on the move. Well angulated 

   in the hindquarters with a correct tail set.

   She moved around the ring with sound, and good reach and drive. Her coat was in excellent

   condition, gleaming with health, and she was presented in strong muscular condition.

   Thank you for presenting her so well.

2nd Johnson, Mrs A    

   Ellchansha Cast A Spell 

   Black brindle top-size bitch, well balanced and free from exaggeration. She presents a clean,

   feminine head with a well-defined stop and good length of muzzle, with open nostrils. Strong,

   correct underjaw.

   She has a good forechest with adequate depth and stands firmly on well-padded, tight feet. 

   Good shoulder placement and well-developed ribbing, being short-coupled in loin which

   enhances her overall balance.

   Correctly angulated both in front and rear, with a sound and harmonious outline. On the move,

   she is fluent and effortless, covering the ground with ease.

   Presented in fit condition and a credit to her owner.

3th Gray, Miss J A     

    Aberstaff Merry Of Soul 

    Red and white pied bitch of feminine type. She has a clean head with good pigmentation of the

    eye rims, nose, and lips. Shows good length of muzzle with well-opened nostrils.

    She has a very pleasing, broad front with good depth of chest. She stands a little weaker on her

    pasterns. Ribbs well developed, and she maintains a good topline. Shows good bend of stifle.

    I would have preferred to see her in a slightly fitter overall condition.

Class 1218 Open Bitch (9) abs (1)

Another strong class with beautifull bitches 

1st Rowe & South, Miss G L & Mr D    

    Illori Constellation JW 

    What a beautiful bitch, with a truly sparkling presence about her that immediately draws the

    eye. She is presented in outstanding, hard condition, which is always a pleasure to see.

    She has a lovely, feminine head with a dark, expressive eye and well-set rose ears. Displays a 

    distinct stop, correct length of muzzle, and well-opened nostrils. Clean lips and a strong, well

    developed underjaw complete a very typical head.

    Her chest is strong, with good depth , and she stands firmly on well-padded feet without any

    weakness in the pasterns. She has well-developed ribs and a firm, level topline, which she

    maintains both standing and on the move.

    Strong hindquarters with good second thigh and well-developed stifles, giving her the power

    needed for her excellent movement. She covers the ground with purpose and drive, moving

    freely and with great ring presence.

    Her owner has clearly put significant effort into bringing out the very best in her presentation. I

    was delighted to award her the CC, only later learning this was her crowning CC.

    Congratulations — you should be very proud!!

2nd Taylor & Taylor & Coombes & Coombes, Mr TB & Mrs D & Mr R & Mrs K 

    CH Fredbur Gogo Yubari At Niatona 

    Black brindle standard bitch with white markings. She presents a pleasing, feminine head of

    correct size, with a well-defined stop and a lovely dark eye. Correctly set rose ears, although she

    did not always use them to advantage during the critique. Good length of muzzle with well

    opened nostrils and clean lips.

    She has a good forechest with adequate width and stands well on well-padded feet. 

    Correct shoulder placement leading into a firm, level topline, with well-sprung ribs and is short

    coupled in loin.

    She is well angulated in the hindquarters with good bend of stifle. Presented in a very fit

    condition, she is a beautifully well-balanced bitch overall.

    The first-placed just had the edge in overall condition today.

3th Liggins & Liggins & Curd, Mr C & Mrs K & Mrs L 

    CH Ellchansha Under Your Spell At Knockon JW

    Black brindle top-size bitch, well balanced overall. She presents a lovely, feminine, clean head

    with a beautiful expression, well-set ears and a dark, round eye. Clean lips and good muzzle

    lenght with open nostrills.

    She has a good forechest with sufficient depth and stands firmly on well-padded, tight feet,

    showing no weakness in her pasterns. Her shoulder placement is slightly upright. She maintains

    a good topline and shows good bend of stifle.

    Moves soundly.

   8-year-old black brindle bitch, still full of spirit and enthusiasm. She looks remarkably well for her

   age and is presented in excellent condition.

   She has a clean, feminine head with well-set ears and a lovely dark eye. Good length of muzzle

   with well-opened nostrils and clean lips. Displays a straight and well-constructed front, standing

   firmly on well-padded feet with no weakness in the pasterns.

   She has good shoulder placement, well-sprung ribs, and is correctly angulated in front and rear. 

   She moves soundly and freely around the ring, with a pleasing and effortless gait.

   I was delighted to award her Best Veteran.

   round eye. Good pigmentation of the eye rims, nose, and lips, with correct length of muzzle and

   open nostrills.

   She has a good forechest with enough depth. Stands a bit weak on the pasterns with slightly

   longer toes. Good shoulder placement and well-shaped, developed ribs

   Correctly angulated in front, good bend of stifle behind. Moves around the ring with a sound

   and effective gait. Preferd in a bit fitter condition.

    Standard black brindle bitch, compact and of very pleasing type. She presents a beautiful,

    feminine and clean head and well pronounced cheek bumps, a dark eye, and correct length of

    muzzle with well-opened nostrils.

    She has a good forechest with good width and stands firmly on well-padded feet. Correctly

    angulated both in front and rear, with well-developed ribs and short-coupled in loin, giving her a

    balanced and compact outline.

    She shows good bend of stifle and showed a very pleasing, sound movement around the ring.

    I was pleased to award her Best Special Beginners. Later in the day, she went on to win 1st in

    the Special Beginners Group, making it a very successful day.

    On the move, she is sound and steady.

    weakness in her pasterns. Shows well-developed ribs and is slightly longer in loin. Correctly

    angulated both in front and rear.

    correctly angulated both in front and rear, with a good tail set.

    On the move, she goes freely and with purpose around the ring.
