1st: GRAY Hafwenna How You Doin
A pleasing young dog with correct head proportions, neck of good length leading into well laid shoulders. Chest still needs to drop, but perfectly adequate for his age. Won the class on his sound movement and handled well to get the best out of this raw youngster.
2nd: SHEPHERD Orchidstar Platinum Strike
This young dog scores in head, dark eye and correct earset. Well balanced fore and aft with correct topline, and good shoulder lay. Overall I would like a bit more of him, preferred the rear movement of my winner.

Very pleasing in head with good eye colour and correct earset. Well laid shoulders and front developing correctly. Good rear angles and neat feet. What a promising baby at six months, he was not overawed by the occasion and did what was asked of him. He went round the ring on a good stride, thoroughly enjoying himself.

A confident youngster of 6.5 months, I found him already quite eyecatching when stacked. Pleasing head, showing correct proportions, expressive eyes and correct earset. Clean over neck, already has decent body depth, nice angles fore and aft and even now he is well bodied. He held it together well on the move too take BPD and then BPIB over his litter sister. I wish him well for the future.

A well constructed solid liver, well off for bone and is well balanced throughout. He has a pleasing head of correct proportions with noble expression. Good straight front assembly, has correct depth and is well ribbed. He has strong well muscled rear quarters and presented in great condition. He moved out smoothly and soundly with reach and drive to win the class. In the final line up he appeared tense and unfortunately lost his topline.
2nd: PRIOR Desjiem Starman Of Whinchat (ai)
I really liked this young dog, clean cut head with dark eye, good reach of neck ,correct shoulders, and short back. Well angulated stifles and good feet. He has a correct coarse coat and good muscle tone. I felt he was somewhat unsettled by changing handlers and was difficult to assess on the stack, nonetheless a very promising youngster.

I found this a very mixed class to judge with dogs of varying sizes. My first was a dog of decent size, well balanced throughout with good angulation fore and aft. Deep in chest, correct short back. Scores in head, very typical of the breed, dark eye and alert expression. Covered the ground well on the move.
2nd: SHEPHERD Orchidstar Full Speed Ahead
Correct head proportions, with dark eye and kind expression. Good length to neck with slight arch, leading to well placed shoulders. He has a firm level topline, ribs well sprung and correct sweep to stifle. Not as tidy on the move as my winner which cost him the class.

This was a super class, full of quality males with little to separate them, it was a pleasure to judge them.
1st: WEBSTER Ch Jomeel Pulp Fiction JW
I judged this solid liver dog as a leggy youngster and knew he would go far once he matured. Very typical of the breed, clean in head with correct rise to nasal bone. He is of medium size, excellent forehand, correct short back , deep in chest and well ribbed. Strong over loin, good width to croup, well made solid quarters with correct sweep to stifle. He moved out soundly with correct extension and drive. Presented in hard muscular condition and excellent coat. A top quality package from every angle, a very worthy Champion of the breed and my CC winner.
2nd: SIELSKI Sh Ch Orchidstar Bolts Of Speed
A strongly built dog, full of ring presence who commands attention. Masculine in head, with correct proportions, intelligent expression with good eye colour good fish to muzzle. Strong neck with well sloped shoulders, good depth to chest. He has strong hindquarters with good width to thigh and strong hocks. When stacked he presents a very smart outline, slightly longer cast than my winner but did not detract from his overall balance. He came into his own on the move with excellent reach and drive. A very worthy Res CC.

Another super class of young bitches which bodes well for the future of the breed.
1st: LOCKETT Winterwell Monet's Magic Of Fayemm (a.i.)
A super and well balanced solid liver. An exciting young lady who appears quite mature for her age. Excellent head with correct proportions, so typical from this kennel, eyes still need to darken somewhat. Good length of upper arm, correct back length and well angulated rear quarters. She had to work hard to win this top quality class and she certainly did this on the move with a ground covering precise stride and holding her topline well. She was presented in hard muscular condition and I could not overlook her in the strong line up. I’m sure top honours will come her way soon. Res CC

Best of shoulders and front, stands on compact feet, excellent rear angulation and moved on a smooth and sound gait.
2nd: DODD & HAYES Lagopusmoor Black Mandala On Elfrindew
Of different type to my winner, this solid black bitch has lots to like about her. I would perhaps like her more feminine in head but she is very soundly constructed throughout and could not be overlooked. She has good neck length with slight arch, excellent forehand with good depth to chest and elbows tight in. Excellent rear angulation and moves out with such positivity and drive.

A beautiful bitch from every angle and full of breed type, I found her quite outstanding in all departments. Well shaped classic head with alert expression, clean over neck with desired arch. Well laid shoulders, excellent front assembly with tight feet. Deep in chest with correct short back, muscular loin and well angulated hindquarters. She moves with a ground covering stride and has strong rear drive. Shown in fit hard condition and coat with correct texture, she has a great rapport with her handler. Fit for function from every angle, pleased to award her the CC and BOB.

Almost identical to my winner in head, extremely attractive with soft expression. Best of shoulders, good depth of chest, well sprung ribs, she is well boned and has firm topline and croup. A top quality bitch throughout, just not in the condition of my winner and carrying a few extra pounds today. Moved out true with driving rear action and could not be denied her place in this top quality class.
