Really liked this boy from outside the ring so nice to get the opportunity to go over him. As the standard says handsome and refined in looks and this boy certainly has those qualities. Racy and balanced in outline he has a super masculine head, long and balanced, with a typical eye and raised brows to create a pleasing expression, well defined occipital bone. Crest to the neck flowing through well laid shoulder into a gently sloping topline. Into a well made rear, which showed on the move. With reach and drive, with correct tail carriage and set. Plenty of substance with good bone and small feet. 2ND Sh Ch/ir Sh Ch Weipowa Double O’seven JW (Miss C Hill). Weimaraner. A nice balanced make and shape, in good coat and condition with correct silver grey colour. Good depth of brisket and well sprung rib well back and well arched loin. Good level topline into correctly set tail. A nick clean forehand with good bone and nice tight feet. A Handsome boy who moved well and covered the ground with ease. 3RD Sh Ch Daithi Shadow Dog with Ferngate (Imp Pol) (Mrs A B & Mr S H Catton & Cook) RES Sh Ch Diggmere Tiger Swallowtail JW ShCEx OSW (Mrs S Duncan) NGA Champion Stakes - A.V. Champion Bitch Entries: 12 Absentees: 6 1ST Sh Ch Weipowa Severine (Miss A Balch). Weimaraner. I last judged this bitch as a youngster and gave her the RCC and she has really grown up and matured so well. A balanced bitch all through, feminine head and expression with a clean skull and some depth to her muzzle not looking snippy at all. Strong topline into correct tail set. Clean through her neck and shoulder into a well made forehand with good bone and nice tight feet. A well made rear construction, in good muscle tone. Moved with some reach and drive and kept a balance outline in profile. 2ND Sh Ch Stanegate Stage Debut (ai) ShCEx (Mrs L A & Mr P Bradley). IWS. Have judged this bitch before and given her BIS. She again has matured well with a good balanced make and shape. Balanced head with typical spectacles around the eye. Clean neck and shoulder with correct v shaped patch under the throat. Well arched neck set into well laid shoulder. Good barrel rib and well back into strong loin. Well let down hock and good angulation. Maybe not as animated as I've sene her before on the move. 3RD Sh Ch Tenshilling The Wanderer (Mrs J Webb) RES Sh Ch Caldewriver Storm N' Teacup for Katillien JW (Miss K A O'brien) VHC Ir Sh Ch Cherdon Classic (Miss C Donaldson)
