North East Of England Toydog Society

I would like to thank the committee of The North East of England Toy Dog Society for the opportunity to Judge my Breed at their wonderful Show. I was overwhelmed by my entry of 45.

With the health problems that are being thrown at our Breed it was wonderful to see dogs with large nose pads and well open nostrils. It was a hot day and not one dog had any difficulty in getting around the ring at a comfortable pace. It was also pleasing to watch the dogs moving away from me with purpose and strength, which has not always been the case.

There were only a couple of dogs with hound like flews and lacking in underjaw, which made my decision harder and on small differences. Serveral dogs could have easily exchanged places. 

Class 231 Minor Puppy Dog – Entry 2

1. Cavallibrook Crikey Mikey- a young seven month old Tricolour dog, domed head and correct nose and eye placement. Moved well and was enjoying himself in the ring.

2. Baldragon Fireworks N Fizz- just six months old, this young dog showed a lot of promise. Correct shape and good length of leg, lovely dark eye just needed a little more confidence.

Class 232 Puppy Dog- Entry 2

1. Cinnamon The Black Sapphire Naf Taf (Imp)- Black and Tan dog with the correct shape and attitude, level topline lovely domed head and moved well coming and going.

2. Artus Charming Line At Khatibi (Cze Imp)- a Tricolour male just twelve months of age. Lovely shape on the table with a level topline and the correct tail set. As he matures, his chest will broaden and drop.

Class 233 Junior Dog- Entry 1

1. Lovtrac Kasper- When this young Tricolour Dog walked into the ring, he took my eye straight away. He moved with confidence, level topline, correct tail set and was not too long in lion. His head was masculine with a great dome, the placement of ears, nose and eyes were all in a line and the breath of his underjaw gave him the required cushioning……Challenge Dog and Runnerup Best of Breed

Class 235 Post Graduate Dog- Entry 3 Absent 1

1. Chacombe Hank At Paulian- A promising Tricolour who has everything required but just needs to mature.

2. Khatibi’s Night Howl- Another immature dog but with promise. He had the required dome and eye placement. I would have liked him to be more sure of himself going around the ring.

Class 236 Limit Dog- Entry 4 Absent 2

1. Khatibi Ken Ya Believe I’m At Llapsttam- Tricolour male, with a pretty head but masculine. He still needs to develope his chest but that will come with maturity. Moved well around the ring.

2. Chacombe Hendrix At Justacharma- A longer caste dog but with a level topline. Still needs to mature but his chest is starting to spring. Moved true u8p and back

Class 237 Open Dog- Entry 4 

1. Ch Baldragon Shoots He Scores- Tricolour dog with all the attributes of a King Charles. Domed head, dark eye, good turnup and long feathered ears framing his face. The topline was level on the table and on the move. Moved happily on the move, I just thought he was a little heavy…….Reserve Challenge Dog

2. Ch Cofton All I Hav To Do Is Dream With Khatibi- another Tricolour male. This dog also have the required dome and eye, nose and ear placement. Good depth of chest and a level topline. I would have liked a longer leg to give the correct proportions.

Class 239 Veteran Bitch Entry 2

1. Ch Chacombe Marana Baldragon- Tricolour bitch who is over 9. She carried her age with dignity and loved every minute she was in the ring. Very pretty head and expression, level topline and the waggest of tails……. Reserve Challenge

2. Poltomic Peppermint Patty With Marchog Ruby bitch who is 7. Beautiful rich colour and the correct proportions. She had a level topline and moved with confidence.

Class 240 Minor Puppy Bitch- Minor Puppy Bitch 2

1. Baldragon Midnight Wish For Seafar- 6 months old Tricolour girl. Good dome, with turnup and a broad jaw. Level topline and correct tailset. Correct length of leg and moved with confidence…..Best Puppy

2. Baldragon Midnight Kiss- Blenheim sister of the one above. Very similar in construction but just lacked a little confidence today.

Class 241 Puppy Bitch- Entry 1

1. Khatibi Bev Early Night- Young Blenheim bitch domed head and correct eye placement and good ear placement, which sometimes Blenheims lack. Good length of leg and correct tail set. She moved well and with confidence. 

Class 242 Junior Bitch- Entry 4 Absent 3

1. Baldragon’s Shooting Star for Lizianmor- Pretty Tricolour bitch with everything in the correct place. Level topline and short coupled. I would have liked a little more leg under her.

Class 244 Post Graduate Bitch- Entry 4 Absent 1

1. Justacharma Magic Dance Dalshareon- Tricolour bitch, lovely turnup and eyes, nose and ears all in a line. Level topline good hindquarter and correct proportions. 

2. Rignolla Devon Dreamer With Potbell- Blenheim bitch not ass mature in body as my first place. She had a level topline and correct angulation in the rear.

Class 245 Limit Bitch- Entry 4 Absent 1

1. Headra’s Killer Queen JW- Tricolour bitch who was completely naked, so could not hide a thing. Correct neck into shoulder and a level topline and correct tailset. 

2. Chacombe Just Charming At Justacharma- This Tricolour bitch needs time to mature. Today her topline was sloping to the rear and she was east west in front.

C lass 246 Open Bitch- Entry 8 Absent 2

1. Ch Baldragon Russian Around With Khatibi- Tricolour bitch who I could not take my eyes off as she moved around the ring. She has the most wonderful expression, great neck into shoulders and she could not move like she does if everything was not in the right place. She was also in lovely silky, long coat…….. Challenge Bitch and Best of Breed

2. Ch Lovetrac Kamilla- Tricolour bitch again a very typey bitch with the correct head and body. Just unfortunate to come up against my Challenge bitch but did push hard for reserve.
