Judge: Miss L Tarabad (Khatibi)
I was delighted with such good entry numerically for a weekday show with plenty of choice for the top awards and some quality exhibits throughout the entry but the open classes were particularly nice and ultimately all the green cards were awarded there. It was interesting to see afterwards that the BOB winner is daughter of both the veteran class winners and also half sister to both of the CC winners last time I judged. I also noticed that the sires of the CC winners are brothers and they certainly complemented each other well in the final challenge both being shapely, in beautiful condition and with super temperaments.

2. TATE, Mrs Angela Crystaldrift Daredevil Dan. Just 6 months old and very much the baby but moved with accuracy when settled with good lift and holding his outline fairly well. Curvy outline with good reach of neck, fine bone, narrow chest and well ribbed back. Narrow head with slight stop, bright eyes and fine ears.

1. GUYTON, Mrs A J & GUYTON, Miss D Pako From Emerald Galaxy (imp ) Ukr. This 9 month old at his very first show immediately caught my eye when he entered the ring, every bit the baby with so much to like. Shapely and elegant in outline with lovely neck and shoulders, good topline and underline, sound rear, fine bone and good feet. Long, narrow head with large bright eyes and neat ears. Very impressive on the move for one so young, free and accurate with good lift in front, all the while holding his outline firm. A quality baby who I’m sure will do well as he matures. BP.
2. MCNAMEE, Ms Brenda Vito Corleone De Azahar Del Mediterraneo. Another promising baby, not quite as together as 1 and could carry a little more body but plenty to admire and should do well as he matures. Nicely balanced and graceful in outline with lovely topline and rear angulation, straight front and good bone. Long, lean head with neat ears and fine muzzle. Moved smartly holding his outline well.

1. LISTER, Miss H M Florita Turbolento. Nearly 2yrs old with such a clean, elegant outline, lovely neck and shoulders, good depth of chest, well ribbed back, strong well angulated rear and fine bone. Long, lean head with lovely eyes and expression and well set, fine ears. Looked a picture moving in profile with firm outline, plenty of lift and good drive from the rear. Presented in optimum condition, well muscled with good body and glossy coat. He had some competition here from 2 & 3 but i thought he just had the edge on the day. DCC, BOS
2. THORNE, Miss Chloe Ch Boccalupo Lucky Luciano (Can Imp). I was interested to judge this one again after I’d met him previously as a junior when he was my best special beginner and has obviously won himself out of that class since then! Almost 2 years on he has certainly matured well and is such a steady showman, always standing to an advantage and moving with precision and style. Elegant in outline with good depth of chest, slender legs, good topline and strong rear, just a fraction longer in loin. Long head with well placed ears, bright eyes and intelligent expression. Again, in fabulous condition and handled to an advantage. RCC.

1. HAYDEN-SMITH, Mrs Mags Ch Artmeis Summer Breeze At Birchwind. This 5yr old just couldn’t be beaten. Her outline is clean and elegant with every part flowing smoothly into the next from her long arched neck to her super topline and well angulated rear. Straight in front with strong, fine bone and good feet, parallel behind with hocks well let down and tail set and carried correctly. Beautiful feminine head with well set and used ears, long lean skull, fine muzzle and strong jaw. She moved with absolute precision, outline firm, putting her strong rear to good use and covering the ground with ease. Such a sensible showgirl who shows herself off to the best advantage and obviously has a superb temperament. I thought she was quite special. BCC, BOB.
2. GUYTON, Mrs A J & GUYTON, Miss D Ansanda Winter Bird. Another one who’s condition and attitude is a credit to her owner. I was delighted to see her in the class as I have admired her from the ringside and it was great to finally get my hands on her. I wasn’t disappointed! Such a graceful and elegant girl, well put together with her sound construction reflected in her effortless, accurate movement. She simply flowed around the ring with her outline held firm, driving from her strong rear with plenty of lift and reach in front. Long feminine head with a super expression from her large bright eyes, neat ears and long, fine muzzle. Very unlucky to meet 1 and equally as unlucky not to be carrying her title already as she is more than worthy. I had no hesitation in calling her back for the RCC.
3. MELLIS, Dr J M Miwell Mary Quant By Lamoye JW

1. AMSEL, Mrs J B Ch & Am Ch Artmeis Golden Oriole Of Regallust. Another impressive veteran from this kennel, this one ‘only’ 10years old and hides her years so well. Super for size and outline, balanced and curvy with fine bone and strong rear. Long, narrow head with the most appealing expression. Still easily one of the best moving bitches in the entry, free and accurate maintaining her outline in profile and obviously enjoys her time in the ring.
