Veteran Dog (1)

1st Warren – Angel’s Phoenix Dylan Dog of Copperfield. 8 year old. Deep red dog with black mask. No ones told him he’s a veteran, absolutely full of beans. Lovely slight under shot jaw. Nice eye, with lids tight. Good head proportions with plenty of padding. Flat skull and correct ear set for the desired square appearance. Good for neck and liked his shoulder placement. Topline showing age a little, but still with a good width to loin into a well placed tail. Standing on good bone and tight feet. Moved well. BVIB.

Junior Dog (4)

1st Myers – Optimus Casey Jones. 10 month old fawn dog with black mask. Upstanding male who I’m sure will develop into a wonderful example of the breed. His head is masculine without being too heavy. He has a lovely eye and expression with the desired ear set. Lovely clean neck and great shoulder. He stands on good bone and lovely feet. His topline is spot on, with a lovely short, muscular loin. He has good rear angulation, with strong hocks. An excellent, powerful mover. RBD.

2nd Warren – Crimlisk Cobos Malbec of Copperfield15 month old fawn dog with black mask. I liked his head proportions, but eyes not as clean as winner. He has a great neck and good shoulder. Standing on good bone. He still has time to strengthen into his topline. Liked his rear angles. Moved well.

3rd Bratchie & Baillie – Optimus Quincy Jones at Skookumbull

Open Dog (1)

1st Aston, Aston & Pavesi – CH Angel’s Phoenix Ron Weasley Astonpride JW (Imp ITA) An impressive red dog with black mask who knows his job. Lovely overall proportions and so well conditioned. He has the most beautiful head, being the typical square on square. He has a lovely dark, clean eye. Correct ears. Strong neck into a well laid shoulder. Hes well boned all through, but without being heavy. Standing on beautifully tight feet. Just off square and a muscular loin. Perfectly level topline. Low set tail and great rear angulations with strong short hocks. He just glides around the ring on the move. Could not deny him BD and BOB.

Junior Bitch (2)

1st Myers – Optimus Bridget Jones. 10 month old fawn bitch and so very pretty, but without losing that typical expression. Lovely eye, flat skull and perfect head proportions, with the correct bite. She is slightly longer than tall and has a lovely short strong loin. Her front is so well correct, with great width to her chest. Slightly sloping pasterns and tight feet. Good topline and liked her for rear angles. I loved her effortless movement. She has plenty of scope for even further development, and I will watch her career with interest. RBB, BPIB and I was thrilled to see she went on to win Puppy group 2.

2nd Warren – Greeneline Forst of Copperfield. 10 months old red bitch. Good for size and overall proportions. Liked her strong neck. Standing on good bone and tight feet. Good spring to rib and a nice short loin. Good tail Set. Nice rear angulation. Not the expression of the winner.

Holds her topline well. Short strong loin. Correct tail. Good rear angles. Moved effortlessly around the ring, pushed the dog hard in the challenge. BB, BOS.

2nd Aston & Bowen – Angel’s Phoenix Hermione Granger Astonpride (Imp ITA). 4 year old fawn bitch. Smaller girl but without losing power. She has a lovely expression, with great head proportions. Good for neck and shoulder. Standing on good bone without being too coarse. Ribs well sprung. Strong loin, a little longer in back. Good topline. Very energetic on the move.
