1ST Annavah Desperate Dan (Miss A Edgson). Both were 6 months old and enjoying their day out. Slightly finer in bone, but just enough at this stage. Straight front, compact feet, excellent tail set and natural high carriage, very nice head and expression with excellent pigment to nose and eye rims. Steady mover in all directions.
2ND Kingswin Chuck Berry (Ms D & Mr H Bridgeman & Logue). Good head with low set ears that were fine in texture, very accurate on the move out and back, flashy markings and in excellent condition, tight elbows, and with a great thick stern, not the front angulation of 1 so lacked the reach I was looking for.

1ST Annavah Top Notch (Miss L A & Mrs P J Havard), outstanding quality dog of correct weight and great condition, gorgeous head and expression, kind eye, excellent bone, good leg length, super foreface, loved his movement in profile which was strong, straight and with good reach and drive, holding his tail bolt upright, he has an excellent layback of shoulder, a super level topline and kept returning to him in the challenge and was happy to award him the CC.
2ND Annavah Desperate Dan (Miss A Edgson). 1st in MPD.

1ST Michelroy Earl Grey (Miss N Daniels). Very dark black blanket dog with a correct white tip to his tail, really liked his powerful rear drive, in glorious coat condition and of correct weight. Well off for forechest, short in the hocks, a little short in muzzle but giving a pleasing expression, nice shape to his eyes, good length of foreface.
2ND Amorpapaver Copernicus JW (Mrs S & Mr A Bell-Thomas & Thomas). Head had good balance, with excellent pigment, ears were low set, a nice boy for overall size and height and good shape to skull, tail was rather thin, great movement in profile and covers the ground.

1ST Redcap Starstruck (Miss D & Miss S Chetcuti & Cartwright). Both on the larger side. 1 was in nice condition, correct weight, medium bone, nice body and outline, tail set could be higher, long low set ears, great feet and well padded.
2ND Julemark Chaos (Mrs G Ambridge). Masculine boy of good clean coat condition, head not his fortune, rather heavy all through, could do with losing a pound or two over the ribs. Long tail with a nice white tip, set lower but confident boy with a sweet nature but slow and lethargic on the move.

1ST Forgebanks Santiano JW (Mrs P J & Miss D V Banks). Both these two were clear winners in this class. 1 was a quality T/W, moderate head of good size to match his body, decent neck, excellent layback of shoulder, level topline, a little longer cast, good bend of stifle, moves accurately, correct bend of stifle and with well let down hocks. Moved very well round the ring with excellent extension and good drive from behind.
2ND Fallowfield Charming Boy (Mrs C Lewis), quality blanket tri dog with an excellent tail set, comes a little wide in front, super bone, great length of neck and head was masculine with a kind expression, low seat ears just framing the face, great underline with tuck up, well muscled up. 1ST Ch Annavah Justify (Miss L A & Mrs P J Havard). Super quality dog with a very attractive head, holds an excellent profile shape on the move and is of great size and shape,, chest reaching to elbow, well ribbed, super back end with short strong hocks and excellent rear drive. Great feet and bone, with a firm topline. Just preferred his younger kennel mate on the day.
2ND Ch Fallowfield Fellman (Mrs C Lewis). Nice head with pronounced occiput, strong neck, decent shoulder, slightly bigger dog and a little longer in body, tail set could be higher on the move. Great body, well ribbed, and strong topline, stifles were well bent and moves very well behind.

1ST Ch Deaconfield Kingcraft (Miss D G & Mrs S Y Taylor). Two lovely boys. 1st was a new one to me but possesses such a moderate and classic outline, of great size and substance and nothing is overdone. Correct dentition, super outline, great depth of chest, ribs extending well back, short strong in the loin, covers the ground easily with a steady and accurate stride. Had to make way for the younger dog for top honours. RCC.
2ND Ch Newlin Preston to Clairdale JW (Miss C Jones). Really good to go over on the table for this one, in great condition, very attentive to handle and defines the word ‘merry’ in the standard so well. Excellent bone and very well handled. In the natural free stand, he sometimes over stretches himself, he looks much better stacked.

She was moderate all through with a pretty head, well set eyes that were oval in shape, straight forelegs, moved with a balanced stride, great width to rear, short strong straight rear hocks, tail was set on high and carried in a pleasing manner.
2ND Annavah Crème De Fleur by Floridgebay (Miss S Oak). Very naughty and playful and full of fun, kind head, she has it all, just a bit fine all through at this stage. Handler can work on her ringcraft but she’s a nice prospect.

1ST Annavah Crème Caramel (Miss L A & Mrs P J Havard). Petite and compact T/W but with such a great shape and movement, the most beautiful head and expression, excellent lay back of shoulder, deep chest, strong in the loin and correct rear assembly. She has a super high tail set and correct carriage on the move. Definitely one I’d like to see again in the future.
2ND Deaconfield Melody (Miss D G Taylor). She was close up to 1, so much to like, more length of leg than 1 and a little rangier, but gorgeous shape in profile with great front and rear assembly. She’s very accurate to and fro, well handled and conditioned. Another that is a great prospect.

1ST Madika Shine On JW (Mrs S Arden). Wow, loved the showgirl of this one, full of confidence and that correct merry attitude. She carries herself so well on the move, is compact, with a firm topline, strong rear quarters. Nothing is overdone and her clear and bright tri markings accentuate her shape. Super high set tail and carriage, she has the most beautiful head with low long fine ears and great breadth and depth to her skull, excellent strong square forecase. She has to be a future Champion. RCC.
2ND Molesend Linnet (Mr M W & Mrs J S Goldberg). Tan and white, short in the back, and solid all round, nice size, kind expression and great balanced head, she has good width to her front and one of the few with ample forechest. Another nice one that I’m sure has a great future.

1ST Bondlea Cherished (Mrs M C Hunt). Taller and rangier than 2 and longer in the body but gorgeous typical Beagle head with melting expression. Level topline which she held on the move and showed good extension in front and behind in profile going round the ring. Compact tight feet, good bend of stifle, deep in chest and good length to her neck.
2ND Simeldaka Sliema Madame (Mr D & Mrs K Simkin). Super tail set and carriage on this one, and in gleaming condition, tri markings very rich in colour and attractive to the eye, she has a deep chest, her feminine head could be more refined, just toes in coming towards.

1ST Rosanka Deneuve (Mr D W Fellows). A total new one to me. An amazing mover, short in the back, compact and topped with a balanced head, short and strong muzzle, medium stop and long, low set leathers to frame the face, super neck and shoulder. Very inquisitive in everything around her, very typical… a nosey Beagle! The more I watched her, the more I loved her, she moves with a great stride and is very accurate to and fro, she has that air of quality and carried herself with a sense of pride. CC and BOB. I’m told it was her third CC. Huge congratulations.
2ND Fallowfield Chatty (Mrs C Lewis). I was really splitting hairs between these two, this one was a little bigger and she is full of quality with showing herself in the free stand so well, correct domed skull, excellent length of foreface, great length of neck, into a well laid back shoulder, good spring of rib, firm in the loin and nice bend of stifle and short strong and straight hocks. Very nice shape and carriage on the move.

2ND Ch Molesend Jazzy JW (Mr M W & Mrs J S Goldberg). Loved this girl too, beautifully made and constructed, straight forelegs, good forechest, great for size, kind temperament and a happy soul, gorgeous head with kind eye and melting expression, medium stop, low set ears framing the face.

1ST Barrvale Grace (Mrs V Davies). Two beautiful girls. 1st had an amazing make and shape, great outline and balanced on the move, holding a firm topline with correct weight coverage over the body, elbows were tight to the body, great spring of rib, covers plenty of ground with each step. Understandably showing her age a little with her markings fading.
2ND Butterow Rumba (Mr & Mrs K E Lennard). Very efficient mover, good height, perhaps a shade longer cast, shows her socks off in the free stand and was definitely patiently waiting for her sausages, very keen to work and was alert in expression with a great high tail set and carriage. Also showing her age a little.
3RD Tiger Lilly Blossom (Mrs G Ambridge)
