1ST Starside Valentino Rossi (Mrs P B Ward)

Six months on the day, sweet boy, still needs to grow into his head as his ears were a little heavy, correct tapering muzzle, plenty of bone and substance, good topline, long tail set low, long neck, classically marked, strong straight front, moved well when settled.

1ST Bryning The Pretender (Miss N Holtappel)

Blue and white prick eared, ears were set a little lower than I’d like but were sensitive in use, very keen and alert and outgoing. Has lost a lot of coat so he appears rather long in body at the moment, good depth of chest but slightly short in rib, good extension in front, needs to tidy up coming and going, good turn of hock. Tail set was low and carried his tail beautifully down which had plenty of furnishing.

1ST Caleykiz Ignite The Passion (Miss D & Mr M Wiltshire & Rogers)

This dark black and white just 12 month old quality was right up my street, gorgeous outline, nothing was overdone, workmanlike and with substance. He appeared to be on the edge of anticipation and was working so well for his handler. His head is yet to mature, but tapering muzzle, well filled in the cheeks, ears were sensitive in use, moderate bone lovely mover in profile and with an excellent strong rear end with a moderately sloping croup. He’s in beautiful coat and condition, superb texture of coat with a soft undercoat and carries a superb long tail low on the move. I think he will have a very bright future. RCC.

2ND Leclway On The Right Track (Mrs T Molnar)

Black and white, totally different type to one but very accurate mover out and back. Not the best front angulation so a little stilted, very nice croup and low set on of tail, great bone. Beautifully presented. A little weary of me when getting my hands on and not using his ears as much as I’d like.

1ST Smart As A Whip Danger Zone at Tambuzi JW (Imp Esp) (Dr A J Oliver)

Stunning dog with such an incredible balanced head, good width and breadth of skull, and correct length of foreface, he has one of the best expressions, super keen, alert and so intelligent. His body is great for size substance and such easy effortless movement, great tail set and carriage, moves so well out and back, beautifully handled and not a hair out of place. I considered for higher honours.

2ND Piece of Happiness Tornado at Petalnote (Miss C Askey)

This dog placed 3rd in Junior but deserved his place here, moves very well with such great reach and extension, nice size and shape, very masculine head, moderate stop, a little heavy in ears but outmoved the other dogs in this class to achieve this place.

1ST Littlethorn Kona (Mr R & Mrs A Tunnicliff)

My type of dog, moderate in bone and with an athletic appearance, head is not overdone, excellent shape to ears, excellent colour, beautiful clean workmanlike outline, long low tail and carried low and he moved steady with good control. One that needs more time to mature.

1ST Sashdan Pure Imagination with Simmovon (Imp Aus) JW (Mr P & Mrs Y, Mrs D Simmons & Inverno)

On the initial look he looks rather heavy for me but it’s all coat, and under the thick double coat is a well put together dog of medium bone and substance which was a surprise. He has a great shoulder and matching rear assembly. So accurate on the move out and back, head a little strong for me but he’s alert and biddable and very well handled.

2ND Roydenbark Meet Joe Black at Baywern (Miss J Prandle)

This one was more sleek and workmanlike in outline, excellent topline, just a shade proud of his tail. Excellent coat and condition, very nice head, slightly domed skull, uses ears when he’s asked, excellent bone and substance, moves well in all directions holding a firm topline.

1ST Sh Ch Simmovon Charm Writer at Spotarton JW (Mrs J & Mr P Longhurst)

The first two in this class stood out for type, size, shape and movement. This boy is very honest and has excellent construction under a thick double coat. He has a mature balanced head which is unmistakably masculine, well set ears and of good shape. Shows a good forechest, strong level topline, he produced long low strides and drops his head and tail correctly on the move, excellent body and substance, great depth of chest and carrying the correct amount of weight and well-muscled in the rear. CC.

2ND Sh Ch Arrodare Family Tradition JW (Miss C N & Miss J & Mr R K Green & Ratcliffe & Green)

Have judged this one as a youngster and he still impresses. Beautifully handled and conditioned. Very alert, with an intelligent expression and a great oval shape to the eye. Just a shade lower on the leg. Excellent tail set and croup and comes alive on the move. With an efficient step, he has good footfall and moves very accurately on the out and back.

1ST Jerseywood Keep On Loving (Miss S Lea)

Two very nice pups about the same age. 1st took a little while to get into her stride and took a long time to settle but she has real drive and extension on the move, nice bone, straight forelegs, great turn of stifle and short hocks, excellent head and ears and she moved better and better.

2ND Jerseywood Love in The Dark (Miss S Lea)

Little sister to one and showing a lot of the same qualities at this stage she was very calm and controlled and her handler did a great job to present her to full advantage. She has a very pretty head, excellent ear set, keen expression, she’s just a little bum high at the moment on the move and on the stand.

1ST Bryning Psychedelic Kisses JW (Miss N Holtappel)

She has a lovely head, such a fab mover, really impressive, excellent tight feet, lovely dark pigment on the nose and eye rims, so feminine throughout and a nice size just would like to see a little bit more animation throughout her performance to complete the picture.

2ND Dollindaw Divine Delight (Mrs L J Neil)

A nice bitch with a good balanced head, correct stop and tapering muzzle, she wasn’t showing herself off so would like to see her use her ears more, great topline, very accurate out and back, her front needs to tighten and she holds a nice shape on the move with an economical correct stride with reach and drive. BP.

1ST Altricia Love Me Do (Miss T Wilkinson)

A gorgeous black and white girl, super body shape, type and topline, with superb front and rear angulation, medium bone, sweet head, with the darkest oval shaped eyes, ears were medium sized and fine in texture, she has great length to her body with short strong loin, one of the best side profile movers of the day. Her time will come.

2ND Windwalker Aurora (Mrs P B Ward)

Blue merle who appeared in her bikini but lovely length of leg, firm topline, excellent sloping croup. I preferred her head and ears than one but she doesn’t show herself off on the move balanced, movement not the reach and drive of 1, would like to see her when she’s in full coat.

3RD Shemella Sky Full of Stars (Mr I J & Mrs M J Lewis)

Graduate Bitch

1ST Littlethorn Chiqui (Mr R & Mrs A Tunnicliff)

Gorgeous feminine moderate girl of a larger frame, holds a fantastic shape, very athletic in profile, tail and featherings made for a great outline, strong pasterns, topped with a gorgeous balanced head, tapering muzzle and using her ears for her handler.

2ND Calareto Norwegian Wood (Mr J & Mrs S T Preston)

Moves better than she stands, as she is a little 10-2 in front, she got better and better in the class and outmoved 3 with enthusiasm, larger girl but moderate in bone, deep chest and well ribbed, one ear is a little flat and heavy, and she’s a little narrow in front.

3RD Pencoppen La Parisienne (Mr K & Mrs A Lampier)

Post Graduate Bitch

1ST Roydenbark Casablanca (Mrs M & Mr P Surridge)

Two lovely girls. This one a prick eared quality girl in full coat with excellent bone, super forechest, really moderate all through, kind eye, always using her ears, excellent low tail set and carriage on the move and with a great lively attitude and keen to work hard for her handler. She had particular beautiful feathering on her front legs and tail which completed the picture. One for the future.

2ND Tonkory Springtime (Mrs J Gregory)

Naked as a jail bird but a lovely bitch, brilliantly handled, super balanced head, great shape to the eye, and very expressive with typical keen expression, compact neat feet, excellent deep pigment, glided round the ring with great action and drive with a low tail set, would like to see her again in full coat.

1ST Tambuzi Guess Who's Back JW (Mrs H & Dr Aj Murfet & Oliver)

Two stunning bitches. 1 fulfilled my eye, was a great size and showed so much quality, and is really eye catching, loved her gorgeous head, dark oval eye and ear set and shape, excellent bone, superb coat and condition and presentation. Loved her movement, minimal lift of feet, very steady, easy and free, clean and effortless stride. Very accurate out and back, excellent moderately sloping croup and low tail set and short strong straight hocks. Couldn’t take my eyes off her in the challenge.

2ND Altricia Day Dream (Miss T Wilkinson)

Another gorgeous quality bitch who’s a shade longer in body, not using her ears as much as I’d like, very pretty head with well placed eyes, moderate stop, tapering muzzle. Fantastic side profile mover, economical gait with great reach and drive from her well assembled rear, not quite as clean front as one but a beautiful girl.

3RD Tobermoray All About Freya (Mrs A R Spencer)

1ST Sh Ch Arrodare Royal Flush JW (Miss B & Miss J Lee & Ratcliffe)

Stunning blue, great size, length of leg with an athletic outline, prick ears, correct length of foreface, with an extremely pretty expression, very keen and alert and I could see her doing a days work, topline was level, excellent ribbing and moves so well around the ring, feet were a little flat.

2ND Thwaitlake Diamond Splash at Littlethorn (Mr R & Mrs A Tunnicliff)

More workmanlike, not the showmanship of one and not using her ears as freely, but excellent head and back skull, moderate stopy, tapering muzzle, moves with head and tail low, great body and correct weight condition, excellent feet and pasterns, moderate turn of stifle helping her to drive round the ring.

3RD Tonkory Yasmine (Mrs M & Mr P Surridge)

1ST Sh Ch Sashdan Never Ending Story (ai) JW (Mr P & Mrs Y, Mrs D Simmons & Inverno)

All four of these veterans were a credit to their owners. The class was won by the gorgeous girl who outmoved everything and was topped with a beautiful head and was so expressive, she carries a big coat but she’s so correctly constructed underneath, great shoulders, super rear and stifle, excellent width to rear and such great short strong hocks I loved her. Apparently judged her as a minor puppy and was great to see her again.

2ND Sh Ch Arrodare Beautiful Trauma (Miss C N & Miss J & Mr R K Green & Ratcliffe & Green)

Super presentation, a fine dark head, with well set ears, is a beautiful make and shape, excellent mover covering the ground so well, gorgeous sloping croup and tail set, slightly shorter in the muzzle but it was tapering, handled so well by this owner.

3RD Caleykiz Hey There Delilah (Mrs C & Miss D Wiltshire)
