A huge thank you to my two brilliant stewards. With 8 entered, 7 present life could have been relatively straight forward. However (all girls) we had the breed record holder, VW holder, the first and only CH SH group winner, CH SH Veteran group winner, the first and only ShCex holder and this years Crufts BOB. In the end a super male import took top honours. Hightimbers – such a clever and consistent breeder of such quality dogs

Limit Dog

1 Roberts - Farmwatch Fast And Furious = Handsome lad now 3yrs. Would not want him any bigger but overall is well made and proportioned. Could be slightly cleaner in front and neck just to sharpen profile picture. Well boned, neat tight feet. Strong rear quarters, well angulated. Strong topline. Presented with super muscle tone, coat and condition. Head balanced with good muzzle to skull, defined stop. Eyes could be a touch darker, but lively and alert. Clean, well balanced side gait, covers good ground. Res BD

1 White and Whitmore’s – Johan Hovi-Raj Of Driftingsky (Imp Svn) – 4yrs – He is such a quality lad and for me nothing to dislike. Standing was alert and on his toes. Outline was clean and balanced. Pleased for size, shape and type. He is so well made all through, slight length to height, with a well carried head, neck and topline. Super muscle and coat condition. Lovely head and expression, such a happy boy. He moved strongly, power in rear, sound with controlled enthusiasm, keeping clean body shape. BD and BOB

Veteran Bitch

1 Hemsworth’s - Hightimbers Travel Tickets Nov Ex – All black of 8yrs – Now at her best and a force to be reckoned with. Liked her as a puppy then took time to mature. Pleasing shape and profile, stands and shows to advantage with such a sharp well balanced outline. Stands on good bone and feet, with reach of neck, level topline, correct croup and rear quarters. Coat, weight and muscle all first class, her coat gleams with condition. Good bone and feet. Thought two has the slightly better head shape, but she has a balanced muzzle to skull, super eye shape and colour. Was foot perfect on the move, sound, balanced covering plenty of ground. BB

2 McLures – Kanukalos Burletta Vw – 11yrs – Quality all through, today was not as enthusiastic as she could have been especially on the move. Love her head and expression. Her profile is quite stunning, good size, shape and build. Well made front and rear, strong topline with correct chest and rib. Sound but just lacking power of 1 today. Res BB

Post Grad bitch

1 Robinson and Brown’s - Hightimbers Oreo Cookie ShCex – 4yrs – Such a fabulous bitch but taking an age to mature in body and get a coat – it will come! Being finer all through does not help but her type and build is classic. In super coat condition and muscle tone. She is well made front and rear, has slight length to height. Strong topline, chest deep, strong loin. Medium neck with good head carriage. Round tight feet. Sound and well balanced on the move, effortless action that covers plenty of ground

Limit Bitch

1 Christopherson’s - Hightimbers Ticket To Evita – 6yrs – classic blonde colouring. Has quality in stance with most pleasing profile shape. Superbly conditioned with a good length of neck, correct topline, chest, rib and rear quarters. Elbows could be a slightly tighter fit. Stands on good bone and compact feet. Head is balanced, defined stop, oval alert eyes. Well set and used ears. Could be cleaner coming but sound away and super strong balanced side gait.

1 McLure’s – Hightimbers Ticket To Dream At Kanukalos – sister to Evita. Classic outline and shape. She too is very well made. Hands on neck of good length and fit, well made and angulated front and rear. Stands on good feet and bone. Carries a strong clean topline. Well coated, hard muscular condition. Not quite as alert as she could have been, but her head is well balanced and proportioned. Just lacking any drive and enthusiasm on the move today
