Please accept my apologies for the lateness of my critique. Such a super entry, unfortunately so many missing on the day. Thoroughly enjoyed my time with those who did appear and with more mature exhibits it was at times quite close. All were very well groomed and presented. Thanks again to my two wonderful stewards

Just the one male appeared but he was a super example of the breed

Clelford's - Kenig Forein Blek Berkut (Imp Rus)  - Large imposing lad of 5yrs. All male and certainly fore fills the opening of the breed standard.  He is well made front and rear, good length of neck into a strong topline. Just a bit long to height. Chest is deep, good spring to ribs, slight tuck up. Good feet (and thick pads!). Well presented coat, dense with slight rugged appearance. Head in proportion, skull flat, moderate stop. Oval dark lively eyes. Well fitting lips, good large open nose. Such a happy lively boy, he moved with a well co-ordinated ground covering stride.  BD

Veteran Bitch

1  Williams - Proud Of Being Ava Gardener At Evrussky (Imp UKR) - Fabulous lady of 8yrs. Standing was hard to find fault, just in the challenge felt her daughter was just a touch more square in build. Strongly made, muscled and no excess weight. Well constructed and proportioned throughout. Coat fits to enhance outline. Classic head, Skull flat, medium stop. Muzzle slightly shorted to skull, strong and slight taper to nose. Tight lips. Eyes oval and dark. Such presence on the move, retained her carriage. Sound, effortless, powerful action. RBB and BV. Looked and moved brilliantly in the big ring and rewarded with VG1 congratulations.

Junior Bitch

1   Mercer's - Gunnerbears Fastrac To Larkharbour - Most promising puppy of just 6mths. Took all in her stride and thoroughly enjoyed herself. Has a good build and type, compact, strong topline. Plenty of angulation front and rear. Good feet. Good length of neck. Lovely head and expression. muzzle balances to skull, moderate stop. dark oval eyes. Just needing to settle on the move but did display some good sound ground covering steps. Thought she moved so much better in the big ring. BP

Post Grad Bitch

1    Mercer's - Dromnagus Hit Me With Your Best Shot At Larkharbour - Just shy 3yrs - Feminine but still strongly made, plenty of size, retaining shape. Clean compact outline, chest deep, well sprung ribs. short strong loin. Well muscled with no excess weight. mature coat, dense undercoat, harsh waterproof topcoat. Head in proportion, skull flat, muzzle has strength but would like a touch more length to skull. Sound action, unfortunately a bit sluggish on the move today,

Open Bitch

1  Williams - IR CH Evrussky Black Widow (AI) - Feminine with a strong, imposing stance. Quality bitch has good size, shape and bone. Square outline. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders, chest deep, short strong loin into well angulated, strong rear quarters. Lovely head and expression. Well muscled, no excess weight. Lively, strong well co-ordinated action. plenty of forward reach, drive in rear. BB and BOB
