West of England Ladies Kennel Society Championship Show 23rd April 2025

Thanks to the officers and committee of the above society for inviting me to judge cavalier King Charles spaniels and Russian toys.

Cavalier Veteran 1

1st Bloomfield Delhaze Reach for the Sky with Oaklake JW.

Just over 7 years of age. He has a good head. His head it's almost flat between his ears with a shallow stop. His nostrils are black and his muzzle is well tapered. He is well filled below the eyes.

His eyes are dark and round and spaced well apart. He ears are long and set on high.

His neck is of a moderate length and slightly arched leading into well laid shoulders.

In good body and level topline. Tail set on correct and moved well.

1ST Spall & Clark. LLapstam Techno Notice.

A black and Tan with the correct markings. His head is developing well and is filling well under the eyes. Ear set on correct high with good feathering

 Good mouth, Adequate reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders. His chest is good with adequate spring of ribs and a Level back. Straight front legs and good turn of stifle. Tails set on correct and moved with drive.

2nd Bragg. Oaklake Timeless.

Much of the same applies as my winner just needs to mature.

1st Lovel . Lovetrac Beckham.

Nine month old Blenheim, so much to like about this young man.

He has an outstanding head for his age is ear set on correct with good feathering.

Eyes are dark and round and he is well filled below the eyes.

His neck is well arched leading into well laid shoulders. Chest is good for his age with a good spring of ribs. Level top line and tail set on correct. Straight front legs and a good turn of stifle. His movement was faultless. Best Puppy in breed

2nd.Tarabad Frondil Taurus Attraction.

11 months old and much of the same applies. Unlucky to meet my winner today.

Junior Dog (No Entries)

Yearling Dog. 2.

1st Spall & Clark. Llapstam Luther Vandross.JW.

Ruby male and a super colour.

His head is correct and flat between the ears. His eyes are dark and round and he is well filled below the eyes. Ear set on correct with plenty of feathering. Correct mouth

His neck is well arched leading into well laid shoulders. Chest is good and a good spring of ribs.

Straight front legs and a good turn of stifle. Tail set on correct and he moved well.

2nd. Yates, Arroline Onyx of Merryanna.

Black and Tan with the correct markings. Much of the same applies as my winner,but he was not as true in movement.

Novice Dog.5 (1) abs.

1st Holmes. Leogem Melody Maker.

20 month old Blenheim. Good Head and flat between the ears. His eyes are dark and round and his face is well filled below the eyes. Good feathering and ear set on correct.

Mouth is correct. Neck of moderate length,slightly arched and leading into well laid shoulders. Good chest and level topline. Straight front legs and a good turn of stifle. Moved well.

2nd Bloomfield. Oaklake Limitless.

Tricolour male. Much of the same applies,I just preferred the movement on my winner.

Graduate Dog 4(1)abs.

1st Taylor. Luvtayl’s Million Dreams Jw.

Blenheim Male and lots to like about this male. Head is correct and flat between the ears.

Ear set on correct and held close to his head with plenty of feathering. Eyes are dark and round and he is well filled under the eyes.

Correct scissor bite. Slightly arched neck leading into well laid shoulders. Straight front legs and adequate spring of ribs. Level topline and adequate turn of stifle. Tail set on correct. Moved well.

Gladwin. Chukimars Poseidon Prince. Much of the same applies ,I just preferred the movement in my winner today.

PG Dog 3. Oh God's sake.

1st Rathbone and Pal. Brymarden Flawless Blush.

Blenhiem male and his head is of the correct shape. Ears carried close to skull with plenty of feathering. Correct Scissor bite. Adequate depth of chest and straight front legs. Level top line An adequate spring of rib good turn of stifle and tails set on correct

Well cushioned feet and moved well.

2nd Eccless. Llipstam Get Knotted.JW.

Black and tan With correct markings. Ear set on correct and hanging close to cheeks with plenty of feathering. Skull almost flat between the ears and correct scissor bite. Well filled under the cheeks. Neck of moderate length leading into well laid shoulders. Straight front legs and level top line. Adequate turn of stifle and tail set on correct. Well cushioned feet. I have judged this dog before but today his movement was not a sound

Limit Dog 5

1st Williams. Charnell The Renegade Sancana JW.

His head is of the correct shape and flat between the ears. Ears held close to his face and with plenty of feathering. Dark round eyes and face well filled below the eyes.

Neck o f moderate length leading into well laid shoulders. His body is short coupled and a good spring of rib. Level topline and straight front legs. Adequate turn of stifle and well cushioned feet. Tail set on correct and moved well.

2nd Searle . Stonepit into theBlue.

Unlucky to meet my winner today and it was a close call. My winner just had it on movement today.

Open Dog. 2.

1st Lovel. Ch Lovetrac Banksy.

What can I say that hasn’t been said before. An outstanding Blenheim that fulfils the breed standard for me. True movement and put down to perfection. Dog CC .B.O.B and Toy Group 2.

2nd Mackenzie .Carsan Hot An Tasty. JW.

Blenhiem Male and lots to like about him. I just preferred the overall balance and movement of my winner today. Res Dog CC

9 Year old bitch. Good head and flat between the ears. Ear set on correct with plenty of feathering. Dark round eyes and good mouth. Neck of moderate length and slightly arched. Good lay of shoulders and level topline. Straight front legs and good turn of stifle. Tail set on correct and moved well

1ST Searle. Stonepit Flora Bunda

Lovely puppy bitch with a good head for her age. Flat between the ears and ear set on correct. Plenty of feathering and hanging close to cheeks.Well filled under her eyes for her age and correct mouth. Neck is slightly arched, leading into well laid shoulders. Adequate spring of rib for her age and level topline. Straight front legs and good turn of stifle. Tail set on correct and she moved well.

2nd. Cunningham. Verheyen Kimmi.

Much of the same applies. She just lost out on movement today.

1st Riis-White. Cerneyleaze Lillibridge.

Tri-colour bitch. Lovely overall shape and did not disappoint on examination. Good head,flat between the ears. Ears hanging close to skull with adequate feathering. Dark round eyes and adequate filling below the eyes.

Neck of moderate length leading into well laid shoulders. Good spring of ribs and level topline. Straight front legs . Good turn of stifle and tails set on correct. Moved well.

2nd Case Ginajay Fairy Dust. Blenheim Puppy and much of the same applies. Unlucky to meet my winner today.

Junior Bitch. 4 (1)abs 1 wd

1st Waterman. Bankshill living the life at Burleybeck.

Blenheim Bitch with a good head. Flat between the ears. Ears hanging close to cheeks with plenty of feathering. Dark round eyes and well filled below the eyes.

 Adequate reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders. Good spring of rib and level topline. Straight front legs. Good hind quarters and adequate turn of stifle. Tail set on correct and moved well.

Bennett. Arroline Incognito at Remmya.

Tri colour bitch and much of the same applies. I just preferred the movement on my winner today.

Yearling Bitch. 3

1st Waterman. Winner in Junior Bitch.

2nd. Martins. Clemartill La Vie En Rose. Lots to like about this Blenheim Bitch. Good head and flat between the ears. Good ear set hanging close to skull. Adequate feathering. Dark round eyes,good mouth. Good body and level topline. Not as good in movement today as my winner.

Novice Bitch.

6. Ryan. Cavillibrook Beatrice.Blenhiem bitch. Good head flat between the ears. Ear set on correct and hanging close to cheeks, with plenty of feathering. Dark round eyes and well filled under the eyes. Correct scissor bit. Adequate reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders. Good spring of rib and level topline. Tail set on correct and moved well

2nd Shrimpton. Kassan Kankan to Cobetts.

15 month old tri colour. Good head and flat between the ears. Ear set on correct . Dark round eyes and well filled under the eyes. Adequate reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders. Level topline and good spring of rib. Tail set on correct,but movement was not as true as my winner.

Graduate Bitch 6.

Lewis. Carletto Red Velvet JW.

A ruby bitch. Good head and ear set on correct. Good feathering hanging close to cheeks. Dark Round Eyes and well filled below. Correct scissor bite. Neck of moderate length leading into well laid shoulder. Straight front legs and level topline. Good spring of rib and good turn of stifle. Tail set on correct. Well cushioned feet and moved well

2nd Jackson. Bed of Roses V’T Burgstse Hof at Amantra (Imp NLD)

A Blenheim bitch and much of the same applies. I just preferred the movement on my winner today.

Tricolour Bitch with a good head. Flat between the ears. Ear set on correct with plenty of feathering. Dark round eyes and well filled underneath. Correct mouth, Adequate reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders. Level topline and straight front legs, good spring of rib and level topline. Good turn of stifle and tail set on correct. Moved well

2nd Lewis. Carletto. Black Velvet JW.

A lovely bitch and she has a good head and ear set on correct. Plenty of feathering. Dark round eyes and well filled under the eyes. Good Mouth . Adequate reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders. Level topline and adequate spring of ribs. Straight front. Good hind quarters and tail set on correct. Just preferred the movement on my winner today

What a class and full of super bitches. I split the class into 2 as the ring was not big enough.

Dark round eyes and well filled under the eyes. Correct scissor bite. Neck of moderate length ,slightly arched, with a good lay of shoulder. Level topline and straight front. Good spring of ribs and good turn of stifle. Well cushioned feet and tail set on correct. Moved well

2nd Wilkins and Wilcock. Llapstam Four Tea Love at Tebaldi JW.

Black and Tan Bitch with the correct markings. Her head is well developed and ear set on correct. Plenty of feathering and hanging close to her cheeks. Dark round eyes. Good mouth.

And what a singer. She is so feminine with a beautiful head. Dark round eyes and ear set on correct. Well filled under the eyes. Correct scissor bite. Good reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders. Straight front and level topline. Good spring of ribs and good turn of stifle. Tail set on correct and she moved well

2nd Lovel Ch Lovetrac Born To Boogie.

This bitch is of equal quality to my winner, but on the day I preferred the movement of my winner
