I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Officers and Committee for the kind invitation to judge at this show. It was both a pleasure and a privilege to assess the exhibits entered under me. My thanks also go to the exhibitors for their entries, and presenting their dogs in such good condition, and accepting my decisions in a sporting manner.

Puppy Dog (1, 0a)

1st – Kenbloom Warm Cashmere (Mr K F Wylde)

A bold and fearless young puppy who, although only six months old, is already up to size. Predominantly white with black markings. Skull moderately broad with V-shaped ears and dark almond shaped eyes. Would benefit from further ringcraft experience and training.

Post Graduate Dog (1, 0a)

1st – Vixenview Top Drawer (Miss Leigh Thomson)

Dark almond-shaped eyes giving a keen expression. Flat skull with a shallow stop and correctly set ears. Forelegs straight with sufficient depth of brisket. Good length of neck flowing into well-laid shoulders. Adequate spring of rib, carried well back and easily spannable. Good bend of stifle with hocks well let down. Moved soundly and freely. Presented in a smart jacket.

Open Dog (1, 0a)

1st – Foxfur Espionage for Rodzina JW (Miss R L Mitchell)

Just what I was looking for , well balanced throughout, who looks like he could do a day's work. He has a strong head , well-developed muzzle, dark keen eyes, of pleasing shape, tidy ears, correctly set and folding level with skull. Straight front with moderate width and depth, standing on tight feet with sufficient bone. Correct depth of rib, easily spannable, with a muscular loin and correct tail set. Strong hindquarters with low-set hocks carried parallel. Moved with good reach and drive. Presented in excellent condition with a tidy double coat.

Veteran Dog (1, 0a)

1st – Digaden Top Hat and Tails (Mrs L Smith)

Presented in excellent condition and denies his 11 years. Wedge-shaped head with correct proportions, flat skull and good width. Narrow throughout, with sufficient spring of rib, a muscular, slightly arched loin, good bend of stifle and pliable pelt. Moved freely, demonstrating good reach and drive.

Post Graduate Bitch (3, 1a)

1st – Gonetoground Pallas Athena (Mrs S Jacob)

Beautiful expression, with small v shaped ears, dropping forward. Correct head proportions with shallow stop. Neck of good length flowing into sloping shoulders with moderate width and depth of rib, standing on a straight front with flexible pasterns. Ribs sprung, spanable with muscular loin, moderate bend of stifle. Moved freely .

2nd – Woodheale Fancy That (Mrs L Steele)

Lighter in frame than the winner, but displaying true breed characteristics with her energetic and happy personality. She has a feminine head with a moderately broad skull and keen, almond-shaped eyes, although I would prefer a slightly higher ear set. Easily spannable, with correct ribbing and nothing exaggerated. Well balanced throughout, displaying good proportions and the correct length-to-height ratio.

Open Bitch (2, 0a)

1st – Ir Ch Foxfur Bewitched by Kylini Ir JCh JW (Miss K Rimmer)

A stunning headpiece with dark, keen eyes and an alert expression. Small V shaped ears level with skull and correct thickness. Wedge-shaped head with slight stop and well filled muzzle. Strong neck of good length flowing into sloping shoulders. Well-ribbed carried well back and easily spannable. Strong, muscular hindquarters with a moderately high tail set. Moved freely with ample reach and drive.

2nd – Digaden Top Notch (Mrs L Smith)

Moderately broad head with a pleasing ear set, folding neatly, although I would prefer a little more fill to the muzzle. Straight front with sufficient bone, forelegs correctly placed beneath body. Good length of neck flowing into a pleasing topline. Lean and workmanlike throughout, with sound movement, covering the ground with ease.

Veteran Bitch (4, 1a)

1st – Chadbrook Enhance The Dance (Miss S Jones)

A quality veteran presented in excellent condition. Super head with good width of muzzle, dark almond-shaped eyes giving typical expression, with small, neat ears. Well balanced throughout, with correct body proportions, sufficient bone and a thick, pliable pelt. Elbows close to the body, giving a sound front assembly. Moved freely with good reach and drive.

2nd – Digaden Get Up and Go (Mrs L Steele)

Pleasing head and expression with dark eyes. Ok for bone with straight front, well sprung rib, muscular loin well developed hindquarters with hocks well let down, moved at ease around the ring. Presented in correct double coat.

3rd – Heythrop Tangle (Ms M Roach)
