Single Breed Open Show
It was a real honour to be asked to judge the Wales & West Show Open Show. The club gave a moving tribute to Gary Thomas and all the committee worked hard to produce a show he would have been proud of. Redwick was a charming venue and the show ring was beautifully presented.
I am pleased to report that in general, the breed seems to be addressing health concerns. I saw no evidence of distressed breathing or over exaggerations. A special mention should be made of Dr Susanne Seffer, who gave up her professional time to undertake the RFG testing as organised by the club.
A big thank you to the committee that made me feel so welcome. The bacon butties and Buffet lunch were also really appreciated.
