Neapolitan Mastiff

PD/B 1 Evans’ Makaevo Koto 9 month old dark brindle male of good overall size and build. Good head to go over being strong and well proportioned all through. Clean dark eyes set well giving a calm expression. Fair length of neck into well built forehand supported by well boned limbs and compact feet. Well ribbed up for his age, topline needs to strengthen with maturity. Steady and sound on the move albeit a tad loose but as before it’s just age related. RBD & BP JD/B 1 Barrett & Barrett’s Remus 18 month old dark brindle male. Up to size all through. Scores well in head being clean and well proportioned with his body. Well set ears and eyes and strong jaws with correct dentition. Powerful neck into moderate forehand in terms of angulation. Well let down in chest and sprung in ribbing, holds his shape on the move in profile but could be cleaner going away. BD 2 Scott’s Brigante Guarino Italy (Imp Ita) 15 month old grey male of good breed type all through. Good head to handle being strong and well proportioned. Clean expressive eyes, correct dentition and strength in jaws. Muscular neck of good length into moderately angulated front assembly. Ample depth of chest and spring of rib. Firm topline standing. Well muscled quarters. Given his build in quarters he should have been cleaner going away but this will improve with age as he is well made in this area. OD/B 1 Barrett & Barrett’s IR CH Diana (Imp Ita) 2 ½ year old grey female I have judged before and today she didn’t disappoint when gone over. Super head to handle being strong yet retaining her obvious feminine appeal. Well angulated and muscled fore and aft, all knitted together to allow the smoothest of movements for the breed. Deep well filled ribbing, topline firm at all times. Showed off her construction to the max on the move and comes to rest standing four square. BB & BOB

Tibetan Mastiff

VD 1 Lowes’ Callowdale Idris The Dragon At 7 ½ years old this black / tan male still has what it takes to be able to do a day’s work and some although he is carrying a bit of excess body now. Scores well in head, strong and well defined, dark oval eyes, definite stop, broad muzzle and correct dentition. Strong neck into well placed shoulders and straight strong limbs with compact feet. Well ribbed up, firm in back and muscled in quarters. Moves well in profile but tends to be a tad close going away. Shown in full bloom. BVIB PD 1 Kennedy’s Bongo Spod Rozsutca (Imp Svk) 9 month old black / tan full of promise if he carries on maturing as he is today. Scores well in head being proportionate to his overall build. Dark well set oval eyes, good width in jaw, full clean dentition with correct bite. Forehand is well angulated and toned for hid age. Ample depth of chest and spring to ribbing, topline is a tad soft standing but does improve slightly on the move, defined in quarters allowing a steady movement that needs to tighten with time. Well presented jacket. JD 1 Lowes’ Callowdale Lucky Luciano Well constructed 18 month old black / tan that still has some maturing to do but given his framework this will be a given I would say. Strong well proportioned head to go over, dark well set eyes given a calm expression. Distinct stop, strong jaws and correct dentition. Forehand is well toned and angulated and matched exactly by his hindquarters allowing the efficiency in his stride at all times once he settled, he is still a bit close going away but time should help this. Put down in very good coat conditioning. Would like to see him in a year or so. DCC PGD 1 Doran’s Geldasworld Avani 20 month old black / tan. Strong headpiece to handle in proportion to his body. Ears set on and used well when called for, dark expressive eyes, enough stop and correct dentition. Moderately angulated and muscled fore and aft giving him an overall balance. Well sprung ribs, firm in back. Sound on the move but tends to sidewind at times. Shown in full clean jacket but would not want to see much more of a white patch on his chest. LD 1 Springham’s Tamdrin's Qinghai at Icebreaker Gold rising 2 years old. Scores well in head, strong well proportioned and expressive from his dark oval eyes. Strong neck flowing into moderately angulated forehand supported by strong well boned limbs and compact feet. Well let down in chest and sprung in ribbing. Holds his topline firm at all times whether standing or in motion, where he is sound once settled. Today he was a bit apprehensive to be gone over. In between coats on the day but what he had was of good texture. His time will come.2 Nicoll’s Bobby Digital 3 ¾ year old gold that today was carrying to much weight overall which affected his overall performance particularly in his quarters going away. Clean well defined head to handle. Mid brown oval eyes, strong jawline with correct bite. Moderately angulated fore and aft giving him a balanced outline stacked up. Needs to strengthen in quarters to improve his movement.

OD 1 Fitzgerald, Hickey & Hickey’s IR CH Tamdrin's Royal Leonidas at Wooferside Rising 2 years old this gold male left his best jacket at home today but this will come back and then he will be a force for sure given his build. Scores well in head, broad in skull and muzzle, ears set on and used to his advantage when needed, dark expressive oval eyes and full clean dentition. Forehand is well toned and angulated and matched by his hindquarters which all put together allowed him the free and purposeful movement displayed here today. Once he gets his jacket back, he should go on to bigger things from today’s showing. RDCC 2 Nicoll’s Method Man Litter mate to 2nd in limit with much the same remarks regarding his weight and hind movement going away. Strong headpiece, dark oval eyes and mobile ears that he uses when needed. Needs more attention to his overall presentation to be at his best. 3 Roberts’ CH Callowdale Tenzin Nyima PB 1 Hollifield & Pointer’s Princess Of Eden Fortunately Tibet mit Syfrdanu Very promising 9 month old black / tan that has it all there to build on with age. Clean well proportioned head to handle, dark expressive oval eyes and mobile ears she uses when alerted. Forehand is well angulated and toned for her age. Ample depth of chest and spring of ribbing. Topline is a tad soft standing but levels on the move and maintains her overall balanced shape. Well prepared in coat and overall conditioning. One for the future from today’s performance. RBCC & BPIB 2 Nicoll’s Princess Kate Fortunately Tibet at Celtifyre (Imp Pol) Litter sister to winner and very much like peas in a pod in terms of framework, jacket presentation and overall movement. On the day I think she was better in her hind movement whereas winner was cleaner coming to but I’m sure they will vie for top spot as the progress through the ranks. Like her sister she has the ability to go all the way with time. Credit to the breeder. PGB 1 Lowes’ Tamdrin Wizadora of Callowdale (IKC) At just 19 months old she was my star of the day. She came in and performed to the max at all times. Super headpiece to go over being strong yet oh so feminine at the same time. Very good expression from her dark oval eyes, ears set on and used to her advantage when called for. Distinct stop, powerful jawline and full clean dentition. Forehand is spot on for angulation and musculature which in turn is mirrored by her equally as impressive quarters allowing an effortless movement that covers the ground easily expending no wasted energy. From today’s performance her title cannot be far away. BCC & BOB LB1 Hind’s Callowdale Tibet Tira & Diamoneo Black / tan rising 3 years old. She was not in her best jacket today but underneath she is well constructed all through with ample body toning. Given her build I thought she should have moved with more fluency especially in her hindquarters. She was perfectly sound just restricted at times. Strong proportionate head to go over, dark oval eyes, mobile ears set on well. Ample depth of chest and spring of rib, holds her shape static or on the move. Just needs working with to be at her best
