Short powerful neck as needed for a sled dog to function correctly. Moderate angulation for and aft giving him an overall balanced framework and the effortless movement displayed today. Well presented in clean dense jacket and body toning to finish the picture. BD OB 1 Hemsworth’s Hightimbers Travel Tickets Nov Ex [Hovawart] At 8 years young this black female belies her her age in every aspect. Clean proportionate head to handle with strong jaws, correct dentition, dark oval eyes and mobile ears she uses to her advantage. Muscular well angulated forehand with matching quarters allowed her the free and effortless movement displayed here to take BB, BAV & BV. 2 Christopherson’s Hightimbers Ticket To Evita [Hovawart] 6 year old blonde female full of breed type and characteristics. Scores well in head, strong yet in no way overdone and obviously feminine. Well constructed fore and aft giving her a balanced outline at all times. Good head to go over, dark pigmentation, mid brown round eyes and ears set on high. Moderate angulation fore and aft giving him balance and good profile stride pattern. RBD VD 1 Hansford & Donnelly’s Le Magicien D’oz Du Clos Millette at Peregos VW [Imp Fra] At 8 1/2 years old this male belies his age especially in his movement where he outmoves many a younger exhibit on the day. Stands top end of the scale maybe but he is balanced nonetheless despite what some think. Well proportioned head to handle overall with dark pigmentation and eyes. Muscular well built forehand that is matched so well in his quarters he couldn’t help but move as freely as he did. So well presented in harsh clean jacket and overall conditioning to take BD & BVD GCDS 1 Fieldsend’s Int/Fr/Bel/Ir/Nld Ch Pacco Du Domaine Des Dhalbergs at Starwell [Imp Fra ] W25 WOW25 JB Adkin & Pickerings’s Bouvibear Isabella Emerald 14 month old fawn that is good to go over from her well proportioned head to her strong defined quarters. Moderately angulated fore and aft allowing a steady movement from any angle. Ample depth of chest and spring of ribbing. Holds a firm level topline at all times. Just needs a bit more time to develop to be at her best. 2 Sherriff’s Bouvibear Catalina Emerald Litter sister to winner and so much alike in terms of overall shape and angulation. Good headpiece with dark pigment throughout and correct scissor bite. Although today she was sound in her movement she was not so well schooled for the ring and as such had to concede to her sibling. Sure they will vie in the future for that top spot. OB 1 Adkin & Pickering’s Ir/Bel/Nld/Int Ch Starwell Here We Go Again to Bouvibear CPW22 Ir/Nld/Bel Jch 5 year old fawn that ticked all the boxes for me today. Scores well in head strong yet so clearly feminine in every aspect. Dark round eyes, ears set on high and well covered. Forehand is spot on for angulation and toning in turn complimented by her quarters giving an overall balanced silhouette and the framework to cover the ground with consummate ease and minimal lift. Well presented in jacket BB & BOB 2 Bland’s Peregos Bordeaux Beauty at Kiandra 6 year old moderately angulated fore and aft. Clean head planes, mid brown rounded eyes and ears set on high. Strong neck, deep well sprung ribs and firm level topline that holds at all times. Defined in quarters giving her good movement going away but would benefit from better schooling to be at her optimum. Shown in good clean well prepared jacket. VB 1 Hansford & Donnelly’s Peregos Minerva’s Wisdom Rising 8 years old this lighter fawn took everything in her meaningful stride covering the ground with an effortless step and minimal lift. Well constructed fore and aft in terms of angulation and musculature. Well let down in chest and sprung in rib, holds her topline firm and level at all times. Comes to rest standing four square. RBB & BVIB SBB 1 Sherriff’s Bouvibear Catalina Emerald Came back into this class a lot more settled and showed how well she could move second time round. Work with her it will surely pay dividends in the end.

Super headpiece to go over, proportionate and strong without any sign of coarseness at all. Strength in jaws, correct dentition and overall pigmentation. Ears set on high and mobile when needed. Forehand is well angulated and muscular to fully match his quarters allowing a completely sound and workmanlike movement in any direction. As ever presented to the enth degree overall in jacket and toning. BD BV & BOB Pleased to watch him take a credible G4 later in the day. Plus VG 3 Well done MPB 1 Harvey’s Pumiden Once Upon A Time At just 8 months old this very promising young lady has it all there to build on under her jacket. Head and body are balanced and proportionate. Forehand is well angulated, front needs to straighten with time and fully sprung ribbing which given her build I’d say it will. On the move she is sound and for her age showing good extension albeit rather loose as to be expected. Would like to see how she progresses through the ranks with time. Sympathetically handled to get the best from her. My first time awarding CC’s today and something I had been looking forward to for a couple of years now since being passed. On the whole I thoroughly enjoyed the day and have to say it wasn’t easy as there is a variation in sizes and types. They should be balanced and strong with elegance thrown in, from what I had today I believe the breed is in good hands thanks to the many good breeders producing good stock. My thanks to the exhibitors for accepting placings with class and big thank you to my two exceptional stewards Michele and Colin for keeping things flowing nicely not just for me but exhibitors as well and making sure everyone was aware of where we were in the classes. Fingers crossed for the next one. MPD 1 Higginbottom’s Crosscop Deja Boo at Dawnsafon 9 month old fawn of good size and balance. Clean head planes with perceptible stop and strength in jaws and full dentition. Mid brown oval eyes giving a good expression. Good length of neck into moderately angulated forehand with straight limbs and tight feet. Well ribbed up for his age, correct topline and strength in quarters. Easy on the move from all angles. 2 Shepherd’s Osterfen Izumi with Oxana Another 9 month old this time slightly lighter fawn. Good head to go over, dark oval eyes and strength in jaws. Well built in forehand with straight limbs and tight feet. Good length of neck, deep in chest with good spring of rib. Topline could be better with time. Smooth and efficient on the move. PD 1 Burton’s Wincarton Ode To Oto Dark brindle just1 year old on the day. Proportionate in head with mid brown eyes and small ears. Just enough stop to be noticeable, strength in jaws with correct dentition. Long neck flowing into well laid shoulders and straight front. Well let down in chest and sprung in rib. Arched over the loin and defined in quarters. Sound all ways. 2 Clissold’s Wincarton Kingsman Lighter brindle. Litter brother to winner with many of the same attributes regarding his overall build qualities and head proportions. Just needs to finish a tad more to be at his best. 2 Bowsher’s Denimblue Willdo JW 5 year old blue that is equally as well constructed as winner albeit larger in overall framework. Proportionate in head, dark oval eyes and correct dentition. Strong neck of fair length. Topline could be more defined to finish him. Sound at all times. 3 Jenkinson & Elliott’s Coppermow Harfang avec Elstoto VD 1 Perkins’ Ch Silkridge Just Joey What an absolute joy to go over this 7 year old. He has a super headpiece to handle, dark expressive eyes, perceptible stop, good width between the eyes and powerful jawline with correct dentition. Forehand is muscular and well angulated supported by straight well boned limbs and tight feet. Deep in chest, ample spring of ribbing, good tuck up and rise over the loin. Hindquarters mirror his forehand precisely giving a pleasing outline stacked up or on the move where he is exact in his footfall from all angles. BVIB and found out later he is the sire of DCC, BCC and RBCC today, so not only a great showman but also producer. 2 Myers & Pilkington’s Supeta’s Show And Tell Astrazone At 8 years old this boy belies his age in so many ways especially on the move where he is sound and accurate in his stride at all times. Effortless and precise on the move in harmony with her handler at all times. 3 Short’s Collooney Bellissima Bloom JW OB 1 Perkins & Van Der Schaaf’s Ch Creme Anglaise’s Entourage with Silkridge JW 2 year old brindle / white absolute star of the day. What an absolute pleasure to go over with every thing knitted together just where it should be from her exquisite head shape and proportions to her defined quarters. Starting with her head, your hands simply mould around it with good width between her expressive oval eyes, perceptible stop and strong jawline with perfect dentition. Powerful neck of good length into forehand that is as close to the standard as you could get in terms of angulation, musculature and bone all stood on tight feet. Hindquarters mirror her forehand to a “T” all put together to produce a balanced silhouette stacked up. Super definition in hindquarters allowing a smooth controlled stride in any direction and like her sister stands over herself well when she comes to rest.
