CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG with CC’s

Held on:  Sunday 27TH September 2026

Judge:  Mr Russell F. Jones (Quemerford)

My 1st time at this venue and it is fabulous. The halls are huge with plenty of room for rings and exhibitors. I was pleased with my entry and the sportsmanship of the exhibitors. Overall, this is a well-oiled show and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you all for the entries.

Limit Dog (1,0), 1 Amis & Stanley, Miss R., & Miss J., Droyales Present Verdandi, JW: A 2yr old dog who stood alone in this class. He is well up to size. Masculine, you would not mistake him for a bitch. A friendly and out-going lad. He has plenty of bone and of good proportions. He handled the ring well. He is an honest dog. I was pleased to award him Res. DCC. Congratulations.

Veteran Dog (2,0), 1 Hensley, Mrs. D., Ch. Desjiem Van De Herdersfarm, (Imp Deu): A 7yr old dog, of great symmetry. Very masculine. Rich in colour. Well balanced. Of good type and out-line. He is absolutely sound as a pound and a pleasure to watch him move about the ring with ease and a lovely nature about him. I had no hesitation of handing him the DCC and Best Veteran. Later watching him win the Veteran Group. What a dog, what an ambassador for your breed. Well done.

2 Kearan & Wilson, Mrs. S. & Miss F., IR/NLD/BEL/LUX/HR/SWISS/INT. Ch. Clynalwin’s Nukon, VW: A 10.5yr old dog well up to size. Very masculine. In a very rich colour. Handling the ring well enough. Of a pleasant type and out-line. Just out performed by 1st placing today.

Puppy Bitch (1,0), 1 Dodds & Swift, Mr. N. & Ms A., Monksley Uschka: This 11mth old bitch stood alone in this class, and class is what she is. An absolute stunner. She is so feminine and sound you cannot believe just how sound she is for her age. I even made her go around the ring again as she is so lovely to watch. Gorgeous out-line, great type, so well balanced. I could have taken her home. I really loved her. Had no hesitation in handing her the BCC, BP, and BOB. Was thrilled watching her pulled out in the last 8 in the Pastoral Grp. Many congratulations.

Open Bitch (1,0), 1 Dodds & Swift, Mr. N. & Ms A., Monksley Questa: This 2.5yr old bitch stood alone but could easily have been the older sister to above. But she is not. But they have a great deal in common. She is of a great type and out-line and is well balanced. Moved soundly about the ring. Pleased to award her Res. BCC.
