Thank you to Officers and Committee for their kind invitation to judge bitches. Also, thanks to my stewards who kept everything running smoothly. A lovely entry awaited me with 113 bitches making 169 entries. I do have some concerns I like to raise I did found heads varied a lot and not the typical head the standard calls for. Movement is another issue needs to be address, some have rolling shoulders, some are toeing in the front and poor hind movement. Also, some are overweight today which also creates a roll on the move which not required in the standard. All these played in final placings.

Baby Puppy Bitch (6) 1st BERRYMEADE CHARDONNY, promising young puppy, has a lovely shape and profile, head of good width & depth, dark eye, strong reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders, strong bone, deep brisket, elbows close fitting, ribs well sprung, level topline, stifles well bent, well-muscled with second thigh muscle, moved with good reach & drive when settled. 2nd AMBERSUN ANOTHER TREASURE (AI), another promising puppy lots to like, dark eyes with dark rim, strong and muscular neck leading into well places shoulders, elbows tucked in, deep brisket, quality bone, tight feet, ribs well sprung, short coupled, moderate bend of stifle, well muscle with second thigh muscle, moved with good reach & drive. 3RD HAYDENGOLD MOMENTS OF MAGIC AT ALFIRO. Special Vintage (4) 1ST SH CH CASTLEGOLDEN CLASSY LADY JW, no surprise to see she has her title, head with correct proportions with width and depth, lovely dark eyes, good reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders, strong bone, deep brisket, elbows tucked in, level topline, ribs deep & well sprung, short coupled, good tail set, moderate bend of stifle, well-muscled with second thigh muscle, moved with good reach & drive. 2ND DILWORTHY PRINCESS LOTTIE VW, head well balanced with good width & depth, eyes could be a shade darker, powerful reach of neck, well placed shoulders, well off bone, deep brisket, ribs well sprung, could be little firmer in topline, short coupled, good hind quarters angulation, well-muscled with second thigh muscle, moved with good drive & reach. 3RD OVERDENE SIBEAL BY BRAMBLYN. Veteran Bitch (9) 1ST SH CH QUAKERHALL PANDORA’S BOUNTY JW, no surprise this quality girl has her title, love her shape & profile, correct skull shape with width & depth, lovely dark brown eyes, excellent length of neck leading into well placed shoulders, strong bone, tight feet, level topline, deep brisket, ribs deep & well sprung, short coupled, good bend of stifle, well-muscled with second thigh muscle, moved with real reach & drive. Best Veteran Bitch and delighted with co-judge in full agreement for BVIS. Congratulations. 2ND SH CH LOVEHAYNE BIJOU AMONG FAIRWAINDS JW VW, Another one very worthy of her title, similar to 1 in many ways just prefer 1 movement today. 3RD BENROWAN ESPRIT. Minor Puppy Bitch (5) All three all different stages and need more time to settle 1ST LAURENLEY LADY SIBIL, has a promising shape, good head proportions, dark eyes, good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, well off for bone, would little more leg length, deep brisket, ribs deep, moderate bend of stifle, well-muscled, moved with drive but does high step in front action. 2ND LAURENLEY LADY MARY FOR GLAMORAN, has all the essentials need to grow more in confidence, littermate to 1 similar points apply. 3rdGORSGANDRILL MONA LISA. BPB, Res BPIS. 2ND ZENEVIEVA MILLION DOLLARS FOR FAIRWINDS (AI) (IKC) another lovely puppy I liked a lot, so much to like, head of good width and depth, lovely dark eye, good pigmentation, good reach of neck leading into well-placed shoulders, well off for bone, lovely forechest, deep brisket for age, elbows close fitting, ribs deep, level topline, short coupled, stifles well bent, excellent muscle tone throughout, correct tail set, moved with good drive & reach. I’m sure these two will change places on another day. 3RD STRATHLON ANGEL EYES. Junior Bitch (11)1ST LEIGHSHAM LEGALLY BLONDE, this girl catches your eye when she entered the ring, feminine girl with correct skull shape with width & depth, lovely dark brown eyes, excellent length of neck leading into well placed shoulders, strong bone, super leg length, deep brisket, ribs deep & well sprung, short coupled, good bend of stifle, well-muscled with second thigh muscle, moved with real reach & drive, excellent coat and condition. Limit Bitch(10) not the strongest of classes today, 1ST WARRENTOR NOHKALIKAI JW SHCHEX OSW, won this class on her movement, would prefer little more strength in head, eyes dark, powerful neck leading into well placed shoulders, strong bone, deep brisket, elbows close fitting, ribs well sprung, level topline, short coupled, moderate bend of stifle, well-muscled, moved with good reach & drive. 2ND STRETTONHILL’S DAFFDIL, head with good width & depth, eyes are dark brown, good reach of neck, deep brisket, ribs well sprung, little too long in the couplings, moderate bend of stifle, well-muscled with second thigh muscle, moved with good reach not the drive of 1 today. 3rd GARLINE LOVE SO DEEP. Special Show Working Bitch (2) 1ST CH LAMACHA KEEP A SECRET JW SGWC, very much beauty as well as brains, top draw girl who I like a lot, many breed virtues she has to offer, stunning profile, lovely head with good width & depth, dark eyes, powerful reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders, well off for bone, good forechest, deep brisket, elbows tucked in, ribs deep, short coupled, good bend of stifle, well-muscled with second thigh muscle, moved with good reach & drive. In excellent coat and condition, down to the last four for top honours.
