Crufts 2026 Breed Results: Leonberger - Judge Sarah Sevastopulo

BOB & DCC 1Wow - what a fabulous day judging Leos from around the world and UK. My Dog CC & BOB was from Canada - outstanding in all respects. All my top winners had the breed requirements of Breed Type, Soundness, Temperament and were presented to perfection. Their owners should be proud.

Worryingly there were incorrect bites and missing teeth in some previously top dogs, they were not rewarded today. Soundness was a problem in some, lameness and erratic rear movement was seen in a few. On a parting note, temperaments were fabulous, and presentation too.

Thanks to Crufts for this tremendous opportunity, it was a real joy. Also, thanks to my wonderful stewards who did exactly as we planned.

Neck flowed into shoulders with level topline and excellent tail carriage. Presented to perfection in condition and coat. So at one with his handler moving and stacking, a joy to watch., Delighted to give him the CC & BOB.
