Thank you to all the exhibitors that entered and supported my very first CC judging appointment. It has been 11 years since I first judged this beautiful breed, and I was more than ready. I did have a small number of dogs with missing teeth but no over concerns with mouths. There are some very lovely puppies coming through which is very exciting for the breed. Feedback from Kennel Club Official on the day was that I was supposed to complete by 12 O’clock and I completed this perfectly, it was also commented that the ring was well managed and I would like to thank my two wonderful stewards Sadie Evans & Deb Roberts

1st Jorazan Kairos Kooky Sox: This lovely fawn of 8 months who cuts a very beautiful shape which is always maintained whilst striding around the ring and on the free stand. Upon the table examination he didn’t disappoint standing four square. His headpiece is developing perfectly displaying dark glossy eyes, good length of muzzle housing good dentition. Ears are set well and alert. Good reach of neck leading onto well laid shoulders, good rib being the foundation for his forever level topline, with a nice sickle tail to complete, good front and nice angulation to the rear. This little boy never stopped showing moved around the ring with purpose driving from the rear.

2nd Angique Cash on a Blue Moon: Such a sweet little Blue Fawn almost 7 months. Finer in bone than first but he is younger by 6 weeks, so he still has growing of muscle and bone. He moved around the ring intermittently gaining his confidence as he goes displaying his well-placed sickle tail. There was no hesitation from this young man on the table, he displayed a very beautiful head and angelic glossy eyes. Nice muzzle housing good dentition, lovely arched neck leading onto well laid shoulders, level topline and sickle tail. Nice angulation in the rear and bone and muscle still developing in this young man.

Yorone Too Timer Via Inixia: Reminds me of a beautiful red! Only just over 9 months and in the bigger puppy class holding his own. He moved well around the ring and freestanding. Upon the table he displays such a sweet gentle expression, his head is still developing at this young age, displays a nice stop, strong muzzle and housing fabulous dentition – “My notes – “What a Mouth”. He stands four square on the table with a very lovely front, arched neck on good shoulders leading onto a level topline, the best tail of the day, nice and flurry. He moved with purpose around the ring straight and true, he just needs to realise how lovely he really is.

Anadeia Ehrendil for Dreamcrewes: Lovely Blue Fawn at 10.5 months and lots to like, I absolutely love his size and his movement. He is still developing and everything will knit together as he grows, he moves beautifully around the ring and one of the best movers when settled. Fabulous well-schooled young boy to go over displaying an apple dome head with well-placed ears, nice muzzle housing good dentition, finishing off the picture with dark glossy eyes. This boy is finer boned, however perfect in proportions, angelic arched neck onto good shoulders with a good front and angulation to the rear. Good sickle tail to finish off the topline. On the moved he was paw perfect straight and true, rear following the front all in perfect time. He is an absolute joy to watch just needs move confidence on the stand to maintain the shape and sickle tail but he’s still young – A good show career ahead I’m sure

Copymear Conquistador with Yorone: Fawn and White young man of 10.5 months and the most mature of the puppies. He portrays one of the gentlest of expressions and powers around the ring with excellent drive in the rear. On the table I noticed straight away his fabulous angulation in the rear. On approach he demonstrates such a lovely expressive eye with even a slight eyebrow to match. His head is exquisite, perfectly apple domed, with large dark glossy eyes telling me how gentle he is. Lovely stop adding to the apple dome shape, good muzzle and housing good dentition. Beautifully arched neck leading onto good shoulders and a straight front, nicely bodied boy with a good level top line and sickle tail set on. He moved in parallel both coming and going with drive and purpose. Best Puppy Dog and Best Puppy 

2nd Zoomeera Stormbreaker: Tricolour young man halfway into his junior career at 15 months. He has the most beautiful coat, so close and glossy. Very well-schooled young man on observation on the table, He’s finer boned than one but still reflects the lovely apple dome head, with dark glossy eyes, good muzzle housing a good mouth. Lovely slightly arched neck leading onto good shoulders good rib and angulation in the rear adding to his ability to power around the ring. Moved well both coming and going at one with his owner

Legado De Lagos Oh Dios Mio at Casiatodo: Cream just short of 2yrs and one I have admired from a far for his structure. Very well put together strong in body providing drive in the rear whilst maintaining his level top line. He stands beautifully on the table with such a fabulous temperament allowing me to go over his attributes. He has a strong apple dome head, slightly shorter in muzzle housing good dentition, nice stop and well-placed ears used at all times. His dark glossy eyes finish his soft expression. He displays a nice neck leading onto well laid shoulders, good rib and level top line leading onto a sickle tail. He moved well both coming and going and completely at one with his owner.

1st Jorazan Kairos Kooky Sox: Same as Minor Puppy Dog Winner

2nd Charonchi Sirius Nikitos: 10 months young boy who is still developing, but what a topline on the move. He stands lovely on the table and in my notes, I have commented “Fabulous mouth” He has such an angelic expression, lovely apple dome head, correct length of muzzle good stop, beautiful dark glossy eyes finishing off his expression with lovely well-placed ears. He was the most beautiful swan like neck leading onto well lead shoulders which are still developing in bone. Finer boned in leg but still good rib and a perfect level top line with correct sickle tail. He moved with purpose displaying good angulation in the rear and a fabulous topline.

1st Perimeade’s Midnight Dream: Just short of 2 years he creates a very lovely shape and size. Moves so well around the ring holding his topline as he goes. Such a well-schooled young man standing four square at all times on the table, he has perfectly shaped apple dome head with correctly placed ears. His dark glossy eyes compliment his soft expression, with a nice muzzle and good dentition. Enough neck for his size, perfectly placed on well laid shoulders with a good straight front, lovely rib and top line well placed sickle tail held at all times. He moved well with purpose both coming and going displaying good angulation at the rear moving giving him the good drive he displayed.

2nd Davixity Ay Papi at Mujerosa: Fawn Boy just over 18 months and was rushed into the ring to make his class therefore I felt he didn’t have time to settle on the initial walk round together. On the table he’s a very lovely boy with such a beautiful eye. Lovely muzzle “Just perfect” housing good dentition, good stop and well-placed ears. Nice neck leading onto well laid shoulders, good rib and correct placed sickle tail. He moved around the ring well both coming and going once settled displaying good angulation and drive.

1st Anadeia Nallion at Dreamcrewes: Just over 2 years, cream boy. Moves around the ring with drive creating toe to toe. On the table he displays a nice body standing four square. Perfectly shaped apple dome head, nice stop and muzzle housing good dentition. His eyes are beautiful so dark and glossy and added the attraction to his winter nose (Which I do love on a cream). Lovely arched neck leading onto a level topline and correct sickle tail. He is four square displaying a straight front and nice angulation in the rear. He was one on the best movers on the day, moved with ease both coming and going. Considered for the RCC

2nd Zoomera Home and Dry JW: Just over 2.5 years old red boy and very similar in attributes to first, moved around the ring with good drive in the rear holding a beautiful topline. Well-schooled on the table. Another exhibit with beautiful dark glossy eyes, nice stop and good muzzle holding good dentition, ears well placed and used at all times. He has a lovely neck onto well laid shoulders, good rib and sickle tail. He moved well both coming and going, good drive in the rear contributed by his excellent angulation. Liked him a lot

The class of the day full of quality and each one deserving a first place

1st: Ch Arkoschi Don’t Stop Me Now: One month short of 2 years old, A dog I have admired from a far, but one thing struck me about this boy, was his paws, he has the most beautiful small, tidy, perfectly placed and front facing paws. He glides around the ring with no effort holding his shape at all times. On the table he displayed a fabulous blue fawn coat in immaculate condition. What a joy I had before me. He has such an expressive eye which draws your attention, beautifully shaped apple dome head with good stop, muzzle and dentition, with well-placed ears used at all times. He has enough neck to create the arched required, leading onto good well laid shoulders and a straight front. Good rib and level top line leading onto a nice sickle bushy tail. I loved the movement of this boy so true going and coming, holding his shape at all times providing drive in the rear contributed from his fabulous angulation.

2nd Anadeia Ovation for Mikichi JW: Just over 4 years old cream boy moved with purpose when entering the ring. On the table he stood four square and so well-schooled. This boy is true reflection of the breed type, lovely apple dome head, nice muzzle housing a good dentition. Dark glossy eyes and well-placed ears, He displayed a lovely shape, arched neck leading onto well laid shoulders and a nice front, good rib and body providing good foundation for this top line and sickle tail set which was held at all times. I especially liked him on the move, so true and completely on his toes, lots of reach in his front and drive in the rear. A very lovely exhibit

1st Tyssul Gentle Whispers: Almost 9 months old moved well around the ring as she entered displaying a very colour Tri-Colour markings. Nice developing head with good stop, muzzle, dentition and nice eye. Ears well placed and used at all times. Finer in bone and still developing, nice arched neck leading onto level top line and nice sickle tail. Moved well both coming and going and so attentive to the owner.

2nd Starceylon’s Love Like Ours: Fawn girl, just short of 7 months and in my notes “Loved Her” she is exactly what I’m looking for, her head shape is exquisite, apple dome head, good stop, nice muzzle and correct dentition, beautiful dark glossy eyes giving her a nice soft expression. Slightly arched neck leading onto well laid shoulders, very good rib making good foundations for her level topline leading onto a nice sickle tail. When settled she moved well both coming and going, she is gaining confidence and in halls like these they just need that extra confidence, she’s young and she will grow and one I will watch for in the future.

1st Charonchi Forever You and Me: Just over 9 months Cream and Fawn and in my notes “Eyes to Die For” This little girl was owning the ring moving at pace and always holding her fabulous topline. Hands on did not disappoint, she displayed everything that I love about this breed, The look as I approached the table with those big dark glossy eyes on a cream background, her nose equally as black and glossy. Nice well placed and well used ears. Another exquisite head piece, apple dome in shape with a good stop and muzzle housing good dentition. Her neck is so angelic but strong leading onto well laid shoulders and a good front, good rib supporting a level topline and correctly set sickle tail, good angulation in the rear and to complete nice, neat feet. Her coat is a smooth as silk so presented in pristine condition. She moved so well and true both going and coming and around the ring with drive and spirit. Reserve Bitch CC and Best Puppy Bitch

2nd Anadeia Elenaril: Just over 9 months another quality exhibit in this lovely class, she moved so well when entering the ring always holding the level topline. On the table she displayed a lovely angelic expression, nice apple dome head, good stop, and muzzle housing good dentition. Ears are well placed finishing the soft but cheeky expression. Her neck is so angelically arched leading onto well laid shoulders, good rib and level topline leading onto a nice sickle tail. She displayed good strong front and good rear angulation adding to her true and correct movement both going and coming holding the shape whilst she went. Liked her a lot

1st Tidos Huntrix: 11 months old Tri colour who really made me smile, she entered the ring with such cheek, and she constantly catches your eye for her ring presence. On closer inspection, what a beautiful head and expression, perfectly shaped apple dome head, dark glossy eyes complete with perfectly placed eyebrows. Nice stop and muzzle housing good dentition completing the look with very lovely large flaring well placed ears. She displays a good body, nice arched neck leading onto good shoulders and a good front. Good rib supporting her level top line leading onto a nice sickle tail. She moved well both going and coming. Her movement around the ring was toe to toe displaying good rear angulation to provide the drive and a little spin every now and again which I love.

2nd Starceylon Empress by Mandistarz JW: Just short of 16 months fawn girl who is well put together and moves around the ring with no effort. Stood well on the table four square, nice apple dome head with good stop, muzzle and dentition. She cuts a very lovely shape displaying a good arched neck onto well laid shoulders, solid topline leading onto sickle tail. She moved very true toe to toe both going and coming demonstrating good drive in the rear and at one with her owner.

1st Legado De Lagos Microsoft at Casiatodo: Tricolour just short of 2 years displaying a very glossy coat and perfectly sized in body. She entered the ring with purpose and attitude; on the table she stood four square and I loved her size. She displays one of the best heads perfectly apple domed head, good stop and a nice muzzle housing good dentition. Her black glossy eyes contribute to her well-placed little eyebrows. Ears nice and large and well placed to complete her saucy expression. A smaller girl and everything in proportion, nice arched neck leading onto well laid shoulders, super front and level topline holding a sickle tail. Her coat is ultra smooth and so very glossy shown in pristine condition. She moved true both going and coming and with drive in the rear contributed from good rear angulation.

2nd Jodeschi Sox Appeal at Jorazan: Fawn just short of 2 years displaying good movement around the ring and at one with her owner. On the table she demonstrates her nicely sized body standing four square, nice apple dome head, nice stop and muzzle housing good dentition. Presented in pristine condition as I even knew the smell of the shampoo used to present this girl. She demonstrates a finer bone whilst still displaying a lovely arched neck leading onto well laid shoulders. Nice rib supporting her level topline and completing the picture with the correct sickle tail. She moved well both going and coming displaying her straight front and angulation in the rear to complete the drive within the movement. So attentive to her owner

1st Legado De Lagos Okinawa at Casiatodo: Parti Colour just short of 2 years and such a pretty little girl. She definitely keeps her owner on her toes. Lovely girl smaller in size with apple dome head, nice muzzle housing good dentition. Lovely arched neck onto well laid shoulders and a good front. Nice rib and topline leading onto correct sickle tail. She moved around the ring well when settled displaying nice drive contributed from good rear angulation.

1st Yue De Petit Roi Mojito Chiaffie: Fawn just short of 2 years, started in the ring well and then something changed. On the table she demonstrates a strong apple dome head contributed with a nice stop, good muzzle and dentition. Dark Glossy eyes was her best attribute today, moved ok around the ring both going and coming but was not happy at all

2nd Amarantos Oriana red just over 2 years and same as first both started well and something changed. A lovely girl to go over, nice apple domed head, stop and muzzle housing good dentition. Nice dark eyes contributing to a saucy expression with well-placed ears. Moved ok when settled I just think she didn’t like the venue today.

1st: Hollichi Designer Baby JW – Fawn girl coming up to 2.5 years Commented in my notes “Loved Her” “Beautiful Eye” Moved with purpose as she entered the ring, as I turned to the table there, she was stood picture perfect and four square. She has a very lovely apple dome head, good stop, muzzle and dentition. Dark glossy eyes and correct ear placement to finish her look. Nice length of neck, arched onto well laid shoulders, good rib and level topline completed with correct sickle tail. She moved with purpose and drive both going and coming displaying her straight front and excellent rear angulation. Challenged for the RCC

2nd Kiss You Off with Charonchi: Fawn Just over 4 years and much to love moved well around the ring as she entered. Good bone on this girl, nice apple dome head with very dark glossy eyes, nice stop good muzzle with correct dentition. Well placed set ears, nicely arched neck leading onto good shoulders, level topline and correct sickle tail. Moved well around the ring both going and coming always holding a level topline

1st Ch Bramerita Posh Totty: Fawn of 5 years Something to make you smile as she oozes breed type. Motors around the ring displaying drive in the rear. As I turn to see this lady on the table waiting for my assessment I smile as she is picture perfect. Everything you want from a smoothcoat chihuahua. Right in front of me she is four square, shoulders well laid, arched neck, nice front level topline, good angulation and nice, neat feet all front facing and completing the look with a nice set sickle bushy tail shown in pristine condition with a soft, clean coat. Her head is exquisite, oozing breed standard, her eyes perfectly placed to contribute to the perfectly shaped apple dome head, nice muzzle, beautiful mouth, correct dentition. Hers ears are perfectly positioned to emphasize all the required attributes. She moves so effortless both going and coming moving around the ring with purpose and drive in the rear. Bitch CC and Best of Breed – A bitch that will stay within my mind of the required standard  

2nd Jodeschi Glamour Puss JW: Fawn just short of 2 years and a finer type with all the attributes of the standard. She moves at one with her owner and on the table, she stood four square, large dark expressive eyes within an apple dome head, nice muzzle, good stop and good dentition. Lovely arched neck leading onto a level topline and sickle tail set. Moved well around the ring both going and coming, stood picture perfect.
