Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge and to the exhibitors for giving me such a lovely entry. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and my winners pleased me greatly. Icing on the cake was watching my BOB win a quality Utility Group and then go on to BIS the following day. Congratulations SBD (4 ) Abs 0 1 TOLLIN - LAUNIX RISING FROM THE ASHES Profusely coated silver youngster with a masculine yet refined head and a dark eye. Good reach of neck and lay of shoulder. Deep chest , straight front and compact body, well ribbed. Very happy and confident on the move, showing good reach and drive .Well handled 2 HOLBOROW - BLACK LITTLE DEVIL 2 years black, good size and overall shape. Fine head and dark eye. Short backed. Could do with more hind angulation but moved soundly. 3 PARKER-STOKES - AFTERGLOW GILBERT GRAPE VD No Entries MPD (1) ABS 0 1 JONES STEPANELLE KISS THE GIRLS AT MELUCY 8 months rich coloured brown who just needs time to get his act together. Masculine head with refinement in back skull and lovely expression Good reach of neck, correct shoulders and straight front. Well angulated rear, correct tail set and carriage, plenty of body for age. Moved with exhuberance , just needs to settle but that will come with age. PD (3) ABS 0 1 SPEAKMAN MOORES & ISHERWOOD - AFTERGLOW HONEY MONSTER AT SACHEMIC 10 months old apricot who must have an exciting future. Loved his outline stacked. Masculine head, refined in back skull and complete with chin. Dark eyes and black pigment. Stands four square on a straight front and well angulated quarters. Super shape and great body condition for age. Ample neck and correct shoulders, tight feet. On the move he is stylish showing plenty of reach and drive. Presented to advantage. I was delighted but not at all surprised to discover that he is a Waffle son. In the challenge he stepped up a gear and fully deserved the Res CC 2 LORENTZ -AFTERGLOW HONEY DIJON Litter brother to 1) paler in colour and may well end up a beautiful cream. He has many of his brothers attributes. A little stronger in head but it is balanced and again he has underjaw and a dark eye. Lovely shape and outline although he does his best to hide his assets and give his patient handler a hard time! Moved soundly when he got his act together. I really liked him and with a little more confidence from both dog and handler he should do well. Beautifully presented. What a joy to find two of this quality in a minority colour. 3 COLLINI - DI MISS BETTY URUS Imp Ita Araf JD (6) Abs 2 1 TOLLIN - LAUNIX RISING FROM THE ASHES 2 GRINDEY & DYER - MALRICEY MR MEANA 14 months black with a pleasing head, lovely dark eye although a little round in shape. Good neck and shoulders. Straight front, well bodied with good rear angulation. Moved soundly in all directions but tended to drop his head carriage and thus lose his outline. GD (3) Abs 1 1 YOUNG - ANORIEN THE WICCAN Petite 18 months black with a lovely headpiece and dark eye. Good reach of neck, straight front with a deep chest. Short and compact In shape with plenty of body. Well angulated rear. Correct tail set and carriage. Moved well ,he just needs a little more confidence because he has all the essentials. Presented to advantage. 2 HOLBORROW -BLACK LITTLE DEVIL 3 PARKER-STOKES -AFTERGLOW GILBERT GRAPE PGD (3) Abs 0 1 PARKER-STOKES AFTERGLOW GILBERT GRAPE Lovely size 14 months black with much to like. Refined head and dark eye. Straight front and short in loin, well bodied ,sufficient hind angulation. Moved soundly and with much more confidence in this class, and therefore his tail was up. 2 PARR - CANPARR ONLY MAKE BELIEVE 21 months white with a pleasing head and eye, good pigment. Straight front and sufficient rear angulation but could be shorter in loin and needs more body condition. Well set tail and carriage and moved soundly but would benefit from better coat presentation LD - (2) Abs 0 1 ROPER - JUSBAR'S SWEET TALKING GUY A close decision between these two blacks and I am sure they will change places on different days . 2 year old elegant boy with plenty of neck set on well laid shoulders. Refined head with a dark eye. Straight front and tight feet, well bodied. Correct tail carriage. Moved soundly with reach and drive behind. 2 LAND & TATE - STEPANELLE ONE FOR THE ROAD Different type to 1, compact and square in outline , masculine head with chin and a dark eye. Well laid shoulders and short in loin. Straight front and well angulated rear. He moved soundly with correct tail set and carriage but occasionally a little close behind. I understand he is growing into his new trim and I feel he will really look the part in the coming months. Very well handled. OD - (2) Abs 0 1) CORISH & OLDFIELD - CH TUTTLEBEES DEVIL'S DILEMMA At 3 years old this black is fully mature and at the top of his game. Presents a lovely picture stacked . Super head, which is masculine with required refinement and chin. Lovely dark oval shaped eye. Good reach of neck set on well laid shoulders. Good width in front and deep chest, straight front and tight feet. Excellent body, stands square and short in loin. Well angulated rear, he is sound and precise moving in all directions. Well presented jacket and handled to advantage. I had no hesitation in awarding him the CC today 2) HUYTON-AFTERGLOW HI OCTANE WITH CHEBRI JW Ir J Ch 2 year old black. Attractive head and dark eye. Plenty of neck set on well laid shoulders. Straight front. Cobby and short in back Moved freely but tended to lose his outline at times. GCD (2) Abs 0 1) MARTIN - PHILORA SILVER SPECIAL 5 year old silver boy, well presented with a quality even coloured coat. Masculine head and dark eye. Correct font and well angulated rear. Good tail set and carriage. 2) PARR - CANPARR ONLY MAKE BELIEVE SBB (5) Abs 1 1 KINSELLA AFTERGLOW POSH SPICE Pretty black of nearly 1 year. Liked her head and expression, dark correct shaped eye. Stacked she presents a lovely outline with plenty of neck and straight in front. Well angulated behind. Short with good body, she carries herself with style and moves soundly Well handled and pleased to award her BSS 2 NOUR & ISHERWOOD - AFTERGOW GO WITH THE FLO Another pretty black and similar attributes to 1) She also has a pleasing outline. Refined head and dark eye. Short and well bodied Moved soundly but not as exuberant as 1 3 DUKE- SHARISEL SILVER PERFECTION VB (1) ABS 0 1) MARTIN - Ir Ch PHILORA SILVER PUDDING 12 years old silver and a credit to her owner/ handler. Pretty head and expression. In great condition for her age. Moved so well and her tail never stopped wagging. Best Veteran MPB (4) ABs 0 1 LAND-STEPANELLE GIRLS IN PEARLS 8 months brown and litter sister to the winner of MPD ,lovely puppy with a bright future. Quality coat for her age. Loved her head and expression. Good reach of neck, straight front and well angled rear. She is short in back with good tail set and carriage. Plenty of attitude when moving. Would just like a little more body but that can be added. Best Puppy Bitch 2 CORISH - TUTTLEBEES THE MAGIC OF LOVE I note she is sired by the CC winner. 7 months charming cream puppy at her first show, although you would not know it because she is so confident. Pretty head and dark eye. Lovely square outline, straight front and tight feet. She is compact with a good chest and well bodied. Two lovely puppies PB (2) 1 Abs 1 KINSELLA AFTERGLOW POSH SPICE JB (5) Abs 1 PINE -HAYNES - GAIEVALS THE GIRL IS MINE Her last Junior class at a day under 18 months but looking so mature. Pretty quality black who is lovely to go over. Feminine head with chin and dark expressive eyes. Good reach of neck set on well laid shoulders. Straight in front with good chest. Short cobby body Well angulated rear, tight feet and excellent tail set and carriage. Profuse coat presented and handled to best advantage. On the move she has reach in front and drive behind. A picture stacked. Pleased to award her RES CC and Best Junior 2 LAND - STEPANELLE FANCY A NIBBLE Older sister to the winning minor puppies and another with a bright future. Again a lovely shade of brown with a quality coat. Pretty head and eye with a hint of mischief. Good neck and shoulders and square outline. Correct hind angulation and tail set. Once she settled she moved freely on a loose lead. Just a little more body to complete the picture. A bright future ahead. 3 INGARFILL - SERENEPARK PICK YOUR POISON GB (4) Abs 1 1) YOUNG -ANORIEN AGATHA ALL ALONG Litter sister to the winner of Grad Dog and has his attributes. Tiny black but so well constructed, her breeder/ owner must be so proud of them. Such a pretty head and dark eye. Straight in front with excellent body and well angulated rear. Moved so well with reach and drive behind. 2 VAN LEATH-GREATEAVES GLENDARA 21 months pretty apricot with a feminine head and dark eye. She is a nice shape and holds her top line moving. Just needs time to mature. PG (1) Abs 1 LB (3) 1 Abs 1 1 GODFREY - AEDAN LOVE ME DO Nearly 18 months dark brown with a quality coat. Loved her feminine head and expression. Good reach of neck and correct shoulders Well made front with plenty of width to chest and a short back with excellent ribbing. Well angulated quarters. Moved well in this class once she settled but even better in the challenge. One I considered for higher awards. A great future ahead of her 2) NOUR & ISHERWOOD AFTERGLOW GO WITH THE FLO OB (3) Abs 1 1 ISHERWOOD & LYNN CH DREAM HIGH KAI KENNEL AFTERGLOW ADRENALINE Delighted to have the opportunity to go over this 2 year old sensational toy poodle. What a joy to go over from the moment she looks down her nose at you to watching her take off on the floor. Loved her feminine head with defined chin and the darkest of eyes giving true poodle expression. She is so balanced and well constructed throughout. On the move she somehow switches up a gear and is impossible to deny. Presentation is immaculate and the bond between her and her handler is clear to see. I found her captivating and was delighted to add another CC and BOB to her growing collection. Thrilled she ended up BIS 2) PARR- CANPARR BUONA SERA 6 year old white enjoying her day out. She has a feminine head and expression. Could be shorter coupled and needs better coat preparation. Moved well and with enthusiasm GCB (2) 1 Abs 1) MARTIN- PHILORA SILVER FERN 2 years old silver.
