Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge at this super run show by a small hard working committee.

Puppy Dog

1st Curnow, Draccus Yin. Just coming up a year old, bit apprehensive on ramp but we got there. Fairly square outline, compact in body and once settled moved well, just needs time. BPD

Limit Dog

These two males are litter mates, both very similar.

1st Cobb, Cobb & Kent, Knytshall Ragged Robin, lightly built, wedge shaped head, slight stop, dark enquiring eyes, fairly high set erect mobile ears, moderate arch to neck, body short and compact, chest fairly deep, ribs well sprung, slight tuck up. High set tail with fairly tight curl, good rear angulations, nice amount of bone, and lovely tight oval feet. Very steady gait.

2nd Cobb, Cobb & Kent, Knytshall Beau Bramble. Very similar comments to first just not quite as mature at this stage as his litter mate or quite as settled on the move.

Open Dog

1st Denham-Horton & Horton, Ch Tapui Haraldsson At Jjavacobe JW, 2 year old male. Masculine in head with darkest eyes, well placed erect ears, muscular neck on well laid shoulders and good depth of chest, elbows close fitting, moderate tuck up and firm in body with nice taut tail set on high, good rear angulations allowed steady fluid movement, just got better in challenge and well worthy of CC & BIS

2nd Corin & Camm, Mazads Nom De Plume, 3 year old male, another with super shape and outline, compact body with good muscle tone, just preferred 1st for his reach and powerful hind movement. 

Champion Dog

Tough class three super males who all had super breed type, and I was literally splitting hairs.

1st Langford, Ch/Ire/Int Ch Frostisen's Zeffer, Nice broad head with well-placed ears, with enough stop, tight lips with good bite, moderate arch to neck, strong forequarters with nice tight elbows and good depth of chest, straight top-line and firm over hindquarters with slight tuck up, nice tightly curled tail, feet nice and tight. Steady movement both coming and going away making it look effortless

2nd Corin & Camm, Ch Kligenthal Almuric ShCEx, masculine head, well placed ears, good eye placement, super pigmentation, neck and forequarters, compact body well muscled hindquarters, just not quite as ground covering on the move.

3rd Lambert, Ch Sturtmoor's Gon'n Dun It JW ShCEx OSW. 

Veteran Dog

1st Cobb, Cobb & Kent, Ch Koromandel Best Served Cold At Knytshall, 9 year old male who is definitely not showing his age, came into ring full of confidence, he is sound in every way. Nice wedge-shaped head, well placed erect ears, correct bite and dark eyes with a lovely expression, moderate neck with good lay of shoulder. Good depth of body and tight fitting elbows, compact body, firm back with tail carried in tight curl over back. Effortless stride and parallel both front and rear view. RDCC did push CC winner in challenge.

2nd Deuchar & Duechar, Ch Rikarlo Gable JW. 8 years old and another I’ve judged before as a youngster who has got better with age. Masculine wedge shaped head, lovely dark eyes, high set mobile erect ears, moderate arch of neck going into well laid shoulders, chest reaching elbows, firm well sprung ribs, top-line straight, well muscled hindquarters, just preferred the steadier movement of 1st.

1st Deuchar & Deuchar, Ch Rikarlo Gable JW. 2nd in the last class.

Puppy Bitch

1st Rawlinson & Beeney, Draccus Yang. 11 month old, very feminine bitch, pleasing wedge shaped head, gorgeous dark eyes with pigmented rims, neat erect ears, moderate neck going into well placed shoulders, chest deep enough at the moment, good rib length, with well angulated hindquarters, very steady on the move. BPB & BPIS

Post Grad Bitch

1st Cobb, Cobb & Kent, Knytshall Love In The Mist. Just over 2 years old, this young lady was not quite settled here today, little apprehensive to be gone over and for me a little on the finer side, but with bitches there’s always hormones at play. Nice overall shape, I’d just like more.

Limit Bitch

1st Frost, Frost, Frost-Treadwell & Walmsley, Frostisen Blakk Zeta, 4 year old bitch, standing in profile, she has a beautiful overall shape, nice broad wedge shaped head with good distance between ears, moderate amount of stop, tight lips with good bite, moderate arch to neck, strong forequarters with nice tight elbows with good depth of chest and straight top-line, firm over hindquarters with slight tuck up, lovely tail set that she didn’t want to carry up on the move all the time although as she relaxed it did come up, feet nice and tight. Steady movement.

2nd Crocker, Leggatts Superstition, 3 year old bitch, good overall shape and proportions, I just preferred head of 1st and better hind angulations.

Open Bitch

1st Taylor, Taylor, Taylor & Frost-Treadwell, Ir Ch Frostisen Blakk Zitter. 4 year old litter sister to Limit winner. Feminine wedge-shaped head, with well-placed ears, moderate amount of stop with correct bite and good underjaw, muscular neck on well laid shoulders, chest deep and elbows fitting closely, good length of ribs, firm top-line and tail set high, curled tightly over back with good rear angulations, steady on move. 

Champion Bitch

Two beautiful bitches that I really did have a job to split.

1st Irvine, Ch Blackcombe Bodil At Tapui (Imp Aus), lovely feminine bitch with wedge shaped head and good ear placement with dark expressive eyes, neck of medium length, short compact body with good rib length, hindquarters moderately angled with strong legs and tight feet, tail with nice tight curl and good set, light easy movement when viewed coming and going, coat harsh.

2nd Wheeler, Ch Knytshall Thistle Ink It Up Koromandel JW 4 year old bitch, very similar comments to 1st, overall balanced and of good type, a sound compact bitch, fairly energetic on the move but just not the length of stride of 1st.

Veteran Bitch

1st Shorer-Wheeler, Ch Sturtmoor's Ffacination With Koromandel, 7 year old, sure I have judged her previously. confident bitch with lean wedge shaped head and well-placed erect ears, dark expressive eyes, correct bite and well pigmented lips and nose, moderate arch of neck, well placed shoulders with good depth of body, closely fitting elbows, good length of ribs with firm back, parallel front and rear, tail carried in tight curl over back, effortless on the move, RBCC was very close to open bitch for cc.

2nd Frost, Frost, Frost-Treadwell & Walmsley, Trelowen Amelia At Frostisen, 9 year old bitch and showing no signs of her age, still in lovely well muscled condition, similar to first in breed type, just felt she didn’t have quite the length of effortless stride of 1st, but still lovely mover who was well worthy of her 2nd .

3rd Strong, Ch Leggatts Dancing Queen At Draccus. 8 year old bitch so unlucky to meet 1st and 2nd

Special Vintage Bitch

1st Crocker, Knytshall Noor Ul Ain. 10 year old and what a credit to her owner, still in good condition, just a little greyer around muzzle and her top-line dropped a little but overall shape and body condition was lovely. Moved with light easy strides.

Special Working Bitch

1st Strong, Draccus I Have A Dream (ai) 3 year old black bitch in lovely hard condition, slightly smaller than other bitches here today but well balanced. Feminine wedge-shaped head, with well-placed ears, moderate amount of stop with correct bite, muscular neck on well laid shoulders, chest deep and elbows fitting closely, firm top-line with high set tail curled tightly over back with good rear angulations, steady on move.
