Harris/Sharp-Bale’s Neradmik Shooting Star. 11 months old. Nice confident youngster, with lovely masculine wedge shaped head, well-defined stop with dark muzzle, dark spectacled eyes with clear pencil markings. Arched neck on well-placed shoulders with well sprung ribs, compact in body with good rear angulation, profuse coat harsh with lovely dense undercoat and plenty of it, brisk effortless movement BPD. In challenge for BP his sister pushed him hard, but I felt at this stage he is slightly more together. BPIB

Hill’s Bargeway Dark Knight at Plymkees. 15 months old, masculine wedge shaped head with well-defined stop, dark masked muzzle with clear pencil lines to his dark eyes, nicely arched neck on well-placed shoulders, with good depth to chest, compact in body with well angulated hindquarters, which allowed brisk steady movement, one to watch for future.

Fedeli’s Corentin Neradmik First Noel. 20 months old and maturing nicely. Masculine head with defined stop, dark mask and clear pencil markings to almond shaped eyes, neat small ears held just proud of profuse ruff, good lay back of shoulder with ribs well sprung, chest had good depth with good bone to legs and lovely tight feet, high set tail curled over back with enough coat of good texture, well developed thigh muscles, very steady brisk movement won him this class.

Church’s Voila Mon Vadim Damour for Tykees (imp FRA). 2 year old, nicely balanced boy who has lovely overall shape, wedge head , muscular neck compact in body with good rear angulation, shown in super harsh coat, I just felt he wasn’t quite so settled on move as 1st.

Lindsay’s Ch. Mezanda Mystic Starman. 4 year old mature male, Lovely broad wedge shaped head with nice width between neat ears, obliquely set dark eyes with clear pencil lines, strong dark muzzle with lovely underjaw, well arched neck with profuse coat giving lovely rough, shoulders of good length with chest fairly deep and compact body, legs well boned with nice tight feet, well-muscled hindquarters good tail set carried well over rump with plenty of coat Won this class for his lovely steady gait.DCC & BOB.

Saunders’ Ch. Liefkees Amore. 4 year old male, nice overall shape, balanced for and aft just wasn’t happy today.

Hickson’s Ch. Kichigai’s Only The Lonley VW ShCEx. 11 year old boy who I’ve judged before and is a bit like Peter Pan, he just doesn’t age. Masculine head small neat ears, defined stop, dark mask, super neck with good front compact in body high set tight tail, well-muscled hindquarters, lovely firm hocks which showed when he moved off, brisk and ground covering, an a fab coat topped it off. Real showman RDCC & BVIB Lovely to see him in Veteran group a much bigger ring and still loving big ring. Utility Veteran Group 3

Marshall’s Arabesque at Devonia (imp RUS) ShCEx VW. just 8 years old, slightly heavier all through than 1st but still lovely type, just preferred 1st more balanced outline.

Bardsley’s Neradmik A New Dawn at Skathki. 11 month bitch, Nice confident youngster, with feminine wedge shaped head, well-defined stop and dark muzzle, spectacles around dark eyes with clear pencil markings. Arched neck on well-placed shoulders and well sprung ribs, compact body with good rear angulation, coat harsh and plenty of it, brisk effortless movement BPB did push her litter brother very hard. Job to split them.

Lindsay’s Watermyth Gota Lota Glamour in Mezanda. Also 11 months, at this stage I preferred 1st head planes, nicely compact body with good height to length ratio, slightly slower maturing than 1st. but everything in right place.

Church’s Tykees Soul Searching. 3 year old bitch, very feminine, with pleasing head and soft expression, dark eyes obliquely set, nice clear mask, small neat ears, nicely arched neck, good lay of shoulder, compact body, strong muscular hindquarters, high set tail, when she’s in full coat will look the picture, moved briskly.

Ring’s Neradmik Tinseltown at Baleissa. 19 month old bitch, good head with dark pigmentation, defined stop, dark almond shaped eyes, small erect ears moderate length neck, nice front angulation compact body with well sprung ribs, chest fairly deep, rear angulation matching front, lovely bone, she was also between coats, but what was there was lovely harsh, moved fairly briskly.

Marshall’s Devonia Black Pearl. 6 year old mature bitch and in lovely coat harsh and standing off from body, feminine wedge head with dark mask and thick triangular ears well placed, pencil marked around the eyes moderately arched neck and well placed shoulders, well sprung ribs with good depth of chest. Compact in body with good rear angulations, strong hocks well let down, good tail set with nice tight curl over back. Brisk effortless movement. 

BCC. In challenge just felt the male was slightly freer on move. Heard later this was her 3rd CC a worthy Ch well done.

Redler/Wheatley’s Ch. Keitakees You Are My World. 5 year old bitch, my notes say job splitting 1st and 2nd, lovely, bred type and very similar to 1st in overall construction just preferred 1st slightly easier movement but def worthy of RBCC.

Parkinson/Dunhill-Hall’s Titan Vormund Des Legendes De Retz Kaydanmy (imp FRA). Eurasier 4 year old red male, presented in full coat, strong head with lovely expression, barely defined stop, dark oval eyes, erect ears, correct bite with good well pigmented lips and eye rims. Well-muscled neck with good lay of shoulder, with good fore chest and good depth of chest. Correct rib shape with firm top line and broad croup, parallel when viewed front and rear, high tail set with plenty of furnishings, firm well cushioned feet and good overall muscle tone allowed for an effortless long stride with ground covering movement. BD & BOB.

AV IMPORTED REGISTER BREEDS (UTILITY)

Lovely entry of import register breeds being showcased today. Where I have no objection to handlers using bait in the ring, I do object to it being tossed in front of other dogs, two reasons; apart from it’s distracting to the other dog but that dog could also have an intolerance to chicken.

Cunningham’s Yulyeong On To A Winner. Korean Jindo 16 month old wedge shaped head on muscular neck, shoulders well placed and good depth of chest, firm body with well-muscled hindquarters, lovely tight high set tail, easy effortless strides on move retaining topline. RBD.

Unwin/Winter’s Morningcalm Who’s The Daddy. Korean Jindo 4 year old and notes say similar to 1st just preferred 1st slightly longer stride on move.

Xoloitzcuintle (Mini) 20 month old with super temperament, red with lovely wedge shaped head with erect ears good length of neck, good length of body that was well muscled, good rear angulation with well bent stifles, skin clean, steady on move

Thornton’s Energy Di Ozzy (imp SVK) Bel/Cze JCh. Xoloitzcuintle (Standard) Masculine wedge shaped head, with dark eyes well pigmented lips, rims and nose. Muscular neck on well-placed shoulders, elbows close fitting to chest, firm back of good length to height ratio, well developed thigh muscles with strong firm feet allowing free flowing movement. Very easy movement. BD in challenge he just ate up the ring, BOB.

Agria Winner, Shcex.VW(AI) Korean Jindo 8 years old, I can’t believe this boy is a veteran one I’ve judged before as a youngster, Wedge shaped masculine head, with dark obliquely set eyes giving a keen expression, thick muscular neck sat well into shoulders, body of good length, well angulated hindquarters, won this class on his steady gait. BVD

Cunningham’s Cracker of Yulyeong (imp KOR). Korean Jindo 7year old. Another super fit male, similar to 1st but just not quite as settled today

Korean Jindo 13 month old litter sister to junior dog, feminine wedge head, pigment toned coat, erect ears, nice length neck well placed shoulders, chest just needs to drop a bit, good length back, with high set tail and good rear angulations, steady on move although not as confident as her brother.

Cunningham’s Kwest’s Eunhasu at Yulyeong (imp PRI). Korean Jindo 16 month old who at the moment still needs to do some filling out, but she is beautifully balanced, very feminine wedge head, dark obliquely set eyes, alert and attentive expression, neat erect ears well placed, good length of neck going into well laid shoulders, chest needs to drop slightly, well sprung ribs with firm loin, moderate tuck up, well-muscled hindquarters, that showed in her powerful movement, in challenge her movement won her the BB

Korean Jindo 4 year old mature bitch, lovely head with keen alert expression, dark eyes, well placed ears, muscular neck, shoulders well placed, good spring of rib, back firm, well-muscled hindquarters, her easy gait won her this class RBB.

Cunningham’s Int Ch Ir Ch Yulyeong Warrior Princess Ir JCh. Korean Jindo 9 year old mature bitch who didn’t look her age, super feminine wedge head with lovely dark eyes, nice ear placement, muscular neck with shoulders well laid back, good spring of rib, chest of good depth, loin firm with slight tuck up, still has great muscle tone to hindquarters, parallel front and rear, very fluid on move, BVB in challenge she such easy effortless stride and didn’t put foot wrong BVIB.

Clarke’s Maramoyo Moorland Misha. Basenji just 6 months old & first show, she took it all in her stride, pleasing head with lovely expression, well placed small erect ears, nice neck, body in proportion to her size, nice rear angulation, parallel front and rear, very steady once settled, BSpB.

Callow’s Whittimere Spexy Beast. Norwegian Elkhound, 7 month old, lovely masculine wedge shaped head developing, large erect ears, well placed dark expressive eyes, well-muscled neck with thick ruff, well placed shoulders with firm body, moderate tuck up, ample bone, high set tail carried over back, parallel going away and back, effortless gait once he got into stride, BP, more settled in puppy challenge and showed his free easy movement. BPIB and pleased to see him go Hound Puppy Group 2.

Farrar’s Henissy Fiver. Harrier 16 month old. Well-muscled masculine boy, fairly compact male, nice head, chest reaching elbows good spring rib, muscular hindquarters, strong tight feet, just preferred his overall build and movement to 2nd

Farrar’s Henissy Firefly. Harrier, similar overall shape to first just felt not quite body condition of 1st at the moment.

Strange’s Anendiels Frankie’s Choice at Cazdachs. Bavarian Mountain Dog. 17 months old. Very eye catching youngster, only second time I’ve met this breed and what a cracker, relatively broad skull, dark expressive eyes, fairly high set long ears strong neck, good muscling over shoulders, strongly boned fore legs, good ribbing, muscular over loin, well-muscled hindquarters, with strong hocks, and well-padded feet, so steady on the move with ground covering movement 

Stephenson’s Kamgaard Kyffin for Brawdor. Norwegian Elkhound 20 months old, masculine wedge shaped head, large erect ears, well placed dark expressive eyes, well-muscled neck with dense ruff, well placed shoulders with firm body, moderate tuck up, ample bone, high set tail carried over back, unlucky to meet 1st.

This was a super class, and I was literally splitting hairs between them on placings.

Millward/Bryson’s Foxhunt A Mark Left Behind (imp AUST). Foxhound impressive 13 month old male, he looks powerful in profile and on the move, good width of skull, muzzle square with large nostrils, dark eyes with keen expression, pendant shaped ears close to head, muscular slight arched neck going into well placed shoulders, chest dep, well sprung ribs, good length of back, well-muscled hindquarters, with well let down hocks, good tail set, powerful on move with good reach and drive. BD & BOB.

Westron’s Farlap Kaleb. Bloodhound 2.5 years old, lovely strong head with long low set ears, nice strong jaws, muscular neck strong body, with very good muscle tone all through. RBD.

Norwegian Elkhound 8 year old male, not showing any signs of ageing with lovely dark mask, good muscle tone and condition, wedge shaped head, lovely bright oval eyes, mobile ears set high, muscular neck, well laid shoulders, chest deep with good breadth, firm back, high set tail fairly effortless on move.BV.

Basenji 2 year old feminine bitch, lightly built, finely chiselled head with nice wrinkles, dark obliquely set eyes, small erect ears, strong jaws neck set well into shoulders, well sprung ribs, level back with well-muscled hindquarters, parallel on move and in profile.

McDonnell’s Triquetra’s Holly Berry. Cirneco Dell’Etna 18 months old, slender well-muscled bitch, lean well chiselled head, high set erect ears, eyes blending with coat colour. Well arched neck, firm topline with well-muscled hindquarters with well-developed second thigh, fairly low set tail easy springy movement.

Carter’s Ir Ch. Aabidah De Polvo Magico Cw24 Cjw24 (imp AU). Sloughi, 3.5 year old, who was absolutely lovely, the standard calls for an elegant, racy yet strong dog without coarseness, she was every bit of that, refined head strong elegant neck, long flat shoulder blades, slight spring to ribs, chest just reaching elbows, good tuck up, slight croup, with well-muscled hindquarters smooth on move, RBB.

Basenji 9 year old, dam of limit bitch winner, definitely not looking her age, finely chiselled head with nice wrinkling, dark obliquely set eyes, small erect ears, strong jaws with no greying on muzzle, neck set well into shoulders, well sprung ribs, firm level back with defined waist well-muscled hindquarters, swift tireless movement.

Gunn’s Stonemartin Ailbe with Katanga (IKC) ShCEx. Azawakh 6.5 year old bitch. Sadly, stood along. Lean and elegant with a fairly racy outline, slender head and body, long slender muscled legs with very light easy movement. BB & BOB.
