DAY 1
SIBERIAN HUSKY
I really enjoyed my first time awarding CCs here today, overall, I was pleased with the quality and considering the heat all the exhibits moved out well and temperaments were excellent.
Also Thank you to my two super stewards who worked tirelessly all day,
SBD/B 2(0)
Two super examples of the breed both handled expertly by their young handlers and I was splitting hairs between them. Both are balanced with good angulations, length of body and muscle tone.
Dumbarton’s Howlvalleys Lemon Drizzle JW. 22 month old Dog, slightly better on the move than 2nd Best SpB. Special Beg Group 1
Dumbarton’s Howlvalleys Cute Cookie. 10 month old Bitch, this young bitch just needs time to settle, lovely angulation just not as steady as 1st.
MPD 3(0)
Simms’ Arcticskies Woo Woo. 7 months old, developing well. Medium sized dog corrects amount of bone, good lay back shoulder, enough depth of chest at this age, firm back, with well-developed thigh muscles and well bent stifle, effortless gait, BPD & BPIB pleased to see him go Puppy Group 3
Taylor/Taylor-Morris’ Pelenrise Elements of Time. 8 months old, maturing slower and preferred 1st slightly easier movement and not quite the strength of body of 1st at moment but overall shape is there just needing time.
Ferretti/Cunningham’s Lyrvid The Last Bit of Cash.
PD 2(0)
Ranby/Hughes’ Siberiadrift Dark Night. 9 month old mature youngster, alert and paid attention whole time, masculine head, neck carried proudly, shoulders well laid back, chest fairly well developed, firm topline slightly sloping croup, well-muscled thighs with nice bend stifle, hocks firm, thick double coat. Very easy fluid gait.
Taylor/Taylor-Morris’ Pelenrise Elements of Time. 2nd MPD
JD 3(0)
Ranby/Hughes’ Siberiadrift Dark Night. Winner of Puppy
Samuels’ Clehatro Big Bang at Hazylights. Just over 12 months, nice overall shape, I just felt not quite the body condition of first which showed in his movement.
Morris’ Cwnhapus Denali.
YD 3(1)
Dumbarton’s Howlvalley’s Lemon Drizzle JW. This was my spe beg winner, this young dog has such a lovely overall shape, nothing is over done everything is moderate, he’s medium sized, moderate bone, head is finely chiseled with enough stop, obliquely set eyes, muscular neck, well laid shoulders, firm topline slightly sloping croup, stands parallel and on move he’s so light on feet, in challenge he was just so together. RDCC.
Morris’ Cwnhapus Denali. 3rd last class, another slower maturing dog, not quite the body condition as 1st
PGD 3(0)
This was hardest class for me here; they were the two extremes.
Hooley’s Dokkalfar’s I Am Groot. Just over 2 years old a lot leaner than I’d like but he had the better movement.
Tinker’s Snowmist’s Eli at Lolotea JW (imp CAN). Also 2 years old, overall shape was good, and I have judged him as a puppy, today he’s carrying too much weight which made his movement erratic.
LD 6(0)
Goodall’s Cwnhapus Master of Whispers JW. 4 year old mature male, he had all the appearance of a dog who had the stamina to get you from A to B. medium size with moderate amount bone, masculine head enough stop, dark obliquely set eyes, erect well furred ears, nice arch of neck, good lay back of shoulders, chest just reaching elbow, legs parallel with flexible pasterns, body was firm with very slight tuck up, strong loin with well good rear angulation and hocks firm. Well cushioned feet, thick double coat, on the move he had lovely reach and drive that was smooth effortless, pleased to award him DCC.
Simms’ Seaqualina Echo of Light at Arcticskies JW. Just over 2 years old and very similar qualities to 1st, in end it was maturity that split them.
Stimpson’s Cwnhapus King In The North for Adellarz.
OD 6(1)

Rees’ Amical Mosta.

Simms’ Seaqualina Pina Colada. Just 6 months old, feminine finely chiseled head, erect ears lovely arch to neck, sitting into her shoulders, good lay shoulder, just needs to fill out a bit in her body, but correct length to height, lovely hind angulations with medium amount bone all through gave her lovely easy movement, beautifully balanced. Ferretti’s Lyrvid Needs A Bit of Cash. Slightly older than 1st but not quite as confident, just needs time to settle.
PB 2(0)
Hughes’ Siberiadrift Black Beauty. Just 10 months nice overall shape, although slightly longer in body than 2nd, just felt she was slightly steadier on move.

Stimpson’s Arcticskies Forest Fairy at Adellarz JW. 2 years old, feminine bitch, would prefer better ear placement, but everything else was developing well, and she was lovely sound on move.
Samuels’ Winter Melody Not That Dramatic Yet at Hazylights. Not as settled as 1st as mum rushed one class to next so didn’t get best from her today.
PGB 3(1)

Spratley’s Winterlumi Night Fury.
OB 1(0)
Rees’ Ch. Winter Melody Triple Trouble at Amical (imp POL). Although she stood along today this 6 year old bitch who is in her prime and in peak condition with excellent muscle tone and presented to perfection. The breed Standard says “free and graceful in action” she looks like she could go all day. Head is feminine and in proportion to her body finely chiseled with slightly rounded top well placed erect ears with moderate stop, dark eyes, medium length neck slightly arched, one of best set shoulders today, chest reaching close fitting elbows, ribs well sprung firm loin with slight tuck up, well-muscled thighs, and parallel when viewed rear, well bent stifle with firm hocks set low ground, loved her easy steady gait. In the challenge for BCC limit winner really pushed her but she just seemed to find another gear and same in challenge for BOB. Pleased to see her Short Listed in Group
