Thank you to the exhibitors who entered today, I had some really super dogs and in some classes some hard choices.

I think since last time I awarded CCs the movement has improved, all bites where correct scissor and we had no gay tails. It was lovely to see the BOB get shortlisted in a strong group and the BP to get a group 3 well done they both showed their socks off in that heat.

1st: 2119 LOCKYER, Mrs Melissa By D'cossio Timeless Soul At Gataj (imp Spain) Naf 6 month old Blue Merle of correct size, correct proportions nice clean lines to head with correct almond shape eye, good ear carriage, nice body shape and tight feet. Very confident youngster BPD

1st: 2141 WILLIAMS, Mrs Jo Mejola Endeavour , 16 month old Sable male, masculine head with obliquely set almond eyes, correct bite and made good use of his ears, nice neck good lay of shoulder with good length of rib, firm loin moderate rear angulation, nice tight feet , although hadn’t got a lot coat, couldn’t hide his lovely shape moved very freely.

2nd: 2117 LOCKYER, Mrs Melissa Gataj Just Like Jesse James also 16 month Sable male another sound mover with good head and nice overall shape, correct bite, nice arch of neck good lay back of shoulder and length of rib with good rear angulations, just between coats at moment but similar to 1st

3rd: 2135 VAN DE VEN, Ms Inna You Are The One Angel Silvestre

Class 988 YD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2138 WATERHOUSE, Mrs Carolyn Lynmead Rising Star, 21 month old sable male, masculine wedge shaped head with almond shaped eyes, good ear placement and correct bite. Nice arch of neck with good lay back of shoulder, ribs well sprung firm back with slight rise over loin with well-muscled hindquarters, hocks parallel nice tight feet. In lovely coat not overdone, very steady on move with easy movement which won him the class.

2nd: 2141 WILLIAMS, Mrs Jo Mejola Endeavour, winner of junior dog

1st: 2112 GEDDES, Mr J N & Mrs V Ingledene Absolute Legend 2 year old Black Tri, nice wedge shaped head, well placed ears with dark almond shape eye, correct bite. Good arch to neck well laid shoulders and depth of chest, well sprung rib firm loin with slight rise, good rear angulation. Movement was steady and effortless. Adult coat coming RDCC

1st: 2129 SWAIN, Mrs Pamela Hanvale Alexander Mcqueen, 3 year old Sable male, loved his head, sweet expression lovely dark almond shaped eyes, well placed ears, muscular neck shoulders well laid, ribs well sprung in super coat, but carrying too much weight which sadly affected his movement.

1st: 2133 TOOGOOD, Mr H L P & TOOGOOD, Mrs A Hanvale Ralph Lauren Jw litter brother to PG 3 year old Sable, super head with lovely soft expression, well placed ears, good arch of neck, shoulders well laid back chest reaching elbows, firm back with slight rise over loin, good rear angulation, parallel front and rear, steady movement.

1st: 2124 PAGE, Mrs Ann Lynmead Prince Charming 3.5 year old mature sable shown in superb coat lovely harsh outer coat with enough undercoat. Lovely wedge shaped head, super ear placement, dark obliquely set almond eyes, correct bite. Nice arch of neck on well placed shoulders, nice length of well sprung rib, chest reaching elbows, firm back, slight rise over strong loin. Well angulated hindquarters. Lovely in profile and parallel both going away and back with lovely smooth gait. DCC & BOB

2nd: 2140 WILLIAMS, Mrs Jo Ch Mejola Top Gun JW 3 year old Shaded Sable, super shape and profile, masculine head, ear set, dark eyes, arched neck well placed shoulders, well sprung rib, slight rise over loin, well-muscled hindquarters, parallel front and rear, harsh coat just preferred the drive of 1st from hindquarters

1st: 2132 TOFIELD, Ms G Gataj Dream To Love 2 year old sable bitch, pleasing shape, feminine head good ear set, dark eyes, moderate arch of neck, good lay of shoulder, well sprung ribs, firm back, nice rear angulation, moved well, just not confident being gone over.

Two lovely veteran ladies, both still in lovely condition with super coat and body condition.

1st: 2111 GEDDES, Mr J N & Mrs V Ch Ingledene Sno Wanda 8 year old Blue merle, beautiful bitch feminine head lovely sweet expression with nice eye placement, muscular neck lovey front assembly with firm topline and good rear angulation, moved out with light effortless strides. RBCC

2nd: 2121 LYALL, Mrs H Santaloly's Sky Amidalas VW ShCEx 11 year old shaded sable Beautifully presented & handled. Feminine head, soft expression, strong neck good topline and good muscle tone throughout, just not quite so fluid on move as 1st

1st: 2118 LOCKYER, Mrs Melissa Gataj Miss Sparkles, 10 month old Sable. Balanced in profile, head developing well, correct bite with good under jaw, well placed ears, moderate length of neck on well-placed shoulders, good spring of rib with slight rise over loin, moderate rear angulation and parallel when viewed front and rear, well-presented coat, well-padded feet. BPB and in challenge she just flowed BPIB & Puppy Group 3

Four super upcoming bitches.

1st: 2136 VAN DE VEN, Ms Inna Your Honey Dream Angel Silvestre 16 month Sable bitch. Lovely wedge shaped head, good ear placement and almond shape eyes, correct bite. Nice arch of neck with well-placed shoulders, rib well sprung, strong over loin. Well angulated hindquarters. Lovely in profile and moved out well with easy strides.

2nd: 2120 LOCKYER, Mrs Melissa Your Majesty Angel Silvestre At Gataj (imp Bel) 16 month old Sable bitch, notice she is litter sister to 1st probably why I had a job splitting them as so similar in overall breed type and shape, just not quite as fluid on move as 1st.

1st: 2122 MARGETTS, Mrs J Lynmead Designer Tipple For Collingvale 21 month old Shaded Sable bitch. Liked this young lady as she entered the ring, such a feminine head, good ear set, obliquely set almond shaped eyes giving sweetest expression, correct bite, well arched neck with well laid shoulders and good depth of chest, strong topline with good rear angulation with well bent stifles, well-muscled throughout which, when she moved, was easy, fluid and effortless. Well-presented and handled sympathetically BCC

2nd: 2107 CARLTON, Mrs Sheila Lynmead Dresses The Stars Of Sambreeze , 21 month old sable bitch, another lovely bitch who can certainly move effortlessly. Good head proportions sweet expression, lovely ear set, muscular neck, shoulders well laid back with strong top- line. Not in full coat but of good texture

1st: 2116 LOCKYER, Mrs Melissa Gataj All That Glitters 2 year old sable, feminine wedge shaped head with obliquely set eyes, well placed ears that she used, giving that alert expression, correct bite with good underjaw, well arched neck going into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest with well sprung ribs, gentle rise over loin, good rear angulations with nice bend of stifle, well-padded feet, best mover in this class.

2nd: 2128 SIMMONS, Mrs P Trenley Treacle Tart 2.5 year old shaded sable, loved her outline, very feminine wedge shaped head , lovely eye placement with sweet expression, neck flowed into shoulders, nice depth of chest, ribs well back with rise over loin, good rear angulation well bent stifles, thought she was my winner just didn’t have reach of 1st

3rd: 2126 SHIPP, Mr Robert Paul & SHIPP, Mrs Margaret Tremaro Million Dollar Baby

Class 1002 LB (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 2130 SWAIN, Mrs Alexis F A Touch Of Blaze For Lexcol 4 year old black tri, feminine bitch, blunt wedge shaped head with dark eyes although would prefer slightly more almond shape but she still had a sweet expression with good ear placement, strong neck on well laid shoulders, good depth of chest and adequate length of rib, slight rise over loin with well-muscled hindquarters, hocks well let down, movement was easy and effortless, which won her the class. Lovely harsh coat with good undercoat.

2nd: 2115 LOCKYER, Mrs Melissa Gataj Exotic Girl 2.5 year old sable preferred her eye shape, just preferred 1st overall shape and easier stride.

Class 1003 OB (5 Entries) Abs: 3

1st: 2108 CRONK, Mrs Vanessa Ch Skabona If I Saw You In Heaven For Chelborn (Swed Imp) 3.5 year old blue merle, my notes say lovely ring presence. Beautiful Shape and outline, clean blunt wedge shaped head, dark obliquely set eyes, ears correctly set and very mobile. Strong arched neck on well angulated shoulders with good depth chest with well sprung ribs, strong back with rise over loin and well-rounded croup with good rear angulation, hocks well let down. Groomed beautifully and in harsh topcoat and enough undercoat not to distract from her shape and she moved with drive. Just didn’t have quite enough left in challenge.

2nd: 2137 WALDER, Mrs Hannah & WALDER, Mr Simon Roughrigg Red Lagertha JW 4.5 year old shaded sable, nice overall shape although slightly longer cast than 1st she still balanced, just felt she didn’t move out as well as 1st.
