Blackpool & District Canine Society

Thank you to the exhibitors for their lovely entry. Although a few exhibits had very short, or over long muzzles, they were not placed. My principal winners in all classes had good muzzle to skull balance, and I have therefore not mentioned this in my individual critiques. Some quality exhibits had left their coats at home, so may not have had the placings they had hoped for.

Tibetan Spaniel - Puppy Dog (6/4)

1. HILSHKI HEART FULL MISCHIEF (Ms Sa Perfitt) ) 6 month baby with promise. Balanced head, correct oval eye, correct reverse scissor. Good front construction. Tail unsettled but well set. Good feet. Good coat texture. Balanced on move.

2. CHELMERESS' LOVE ME DO AT OLDCHARM (Miss S & Mr R Lynch & Lemon) A lot to like about this boy but very undershot. Good top of head with correct oval eye. Well positioned ears of decent size. Hare feet. Well set & carried tail. Good coat for age. Balanced standing & on move.

1. GLENBROOK BRISA DE JARDINE AT THISTLETIB (IKC) (Mr P A & Mrs H J Osborne) I really liked this boy. Stood alone but a quality dog. Balanced standing & on the move. Lovely head with padded muzzle & dark oval eye. Correct top of head with well positioned & carried ears. Correct tail set & carriage. Hare feet. In excellent coat of good texture for age. Sound & free moving. Pushed hard for best junior, but had to give way to bitch today. Considered him for higher honours.

Tibetan Spaniel - Post Graduate Dog (6/6)

1. OLDCHARM THIS IS REAL LOVE (Miss S Lynch) 18 month. Easy winner of class. Lovely balance standing & on the move. Attractive head & expression with dark oval eyes, correct placed ears & correct bite. Balanced body with well laid back shoulder & good hind angulation. Good tail set & carriage. Hare feet. Good coat. Sound & free moving. A lot to like.

2. MULLTYE ROL MO (Y Tyler) 3 Year old with lovely head. Oval eye, flat skull with well carried ears. Balanced body. Hare feet. Balanced on move with good tail set & carriage. Just preferred 1 overall. Good coat.

1. CASTAFIORE GIVENCHY (Mr A & Mr L Moran & Prouve) I liked both 1 & 2 very much. Loved body shape & make. Correct top of head with well placed ears, dark oval eye, correct reverse scissor. Good muzzle to skull proportions. Hare feet. Tail well set & carriage. In excellent well presented coat. Sound & free moving. Lot to like.

2. SUSU APPLEY EVER AFTER JW (Miss L Duncan) Very nice dog. Correct skull, dark oval eye, well carried ears, hare feet. Reverse scissor. Balanced body, standing & on move. Not quite finish of 1 but another quality dog.

3. JAZPIPER CLASSIC TOUCH (Mrs D & Mrs C & Mrs C Coughtrie & Hendry & Paterson)

Very strong class with several quality dogs who could easily have won on a different day.

1. NLD CH DEDICATED TO LEGEND IS BORN SUSU (Imp Nld) (Miss C L Cooper) Beautiful dog with lovely head of correct size for body, & lovely expression. Correct dark oval eye, classic top of head with well positioned ears. Well cushioned muzzle. Reverse scissor. Balanced body of good proportions. Correct tail set & carriage. Hare feet. A very stylish and unexaggerated dog, difficult to overlook. Well presented coat of good texture. Sound & free moving. Balanced throughout with lovely outline. A great deal to like. CC & BOB

2. INT/FIN/NOR/DK/EE/LV/S/LT/BALT CH SKAIDIKURUN BASSE-BEAIVI FIN JCH (Ms M Juvonen) Another quality dog of different type to winner. Lovely head with correct skull shape & sweet expression. Padded muzzle. Dark oval eye, flat skull with good ear placement & reverse scissor bite. lovely shape & size body. Carries head high. Hare feet. Good tail set & carriage. In well presented coat of correct texture. Stylish boy but I just preferred the overall shape & make of 1, but I liked a lot. Sound & free moving. RCC

1. CH SUSU PRINCE CHARMING ShCEx VW (Miss O Thompson) 8 yr old boy in excellent coat & condition. Balanced with pleasing head, correct dark oval eye. Correct hare feet. Good tail set & carriage. Nice shape & size.

2. TUYET ELVIS WONDER OF YOU AT MENNIMOONZ (Mrs A & Mr M Harford) Black & white neuter 9.5 yrs. Correct eye shape. Ok mouth. Good coat texture. Round feet. Flagged tail.

Tibetan Spaniel - Special Beginners (2/2)

1. MULLTYE PO SO CAN (Mrs C & Mr J Brooks) Feminine girl with pretty head. Correct eye shape, good feet. Well set & carried tail. Good feathering. Okay on the move.

2. RICHEARON EASY DOES IT FOR HILSHKI (Ms Sa Perfitt) Dog of good shape & size. Tongue hanging out due to lack of dentition. Good top of head. Correct ear placement. Round feet. Good coat texture. Not as settled behind on the move.

Hare feet, good tail set & carriage. Good coat texture. Promising baby who although a fidget, has a lot to like. Free moving once settled. BP

2. CHELMERESS' LOVE ACTUALLY VIA MULLTYE (Y Tyler) Another pretty girl but very undershot. Correct oval eye, good top of head. Balanced shape & free moving. Good tail set & carriage. Hare feet. In good coat for age.

1. SUSU THE SHOW MUST GO ON (Miss C L Cooper) Delightful youngster. Very feminine with good head & padded muzzle. Dark oval eye & reverse scissor bite. Correct shape skull with well positioned ears. Hare feet. Lovely shape & size, with well laid shoulders & good hind angulation. Balanced throughout & free moving. She caught my eye when she came in to the ring & did not disappoint, I did consider her for higher honours but had to settle today for BJ

2. SOMMERLYST'S ARYAME (Imp Dk) (Mr A & Mr L Moran & Prouve) Tri colour. Very pretty head with correct skull and good ear placement, oval dark eye, scissor bite. Hare feet. Good tail set & carriage. Free moving. In excellent well presented coat. A lot to like.

2. OLDCHARM LOVE NOT WAR (Mrs S Lee) Another lovely girl with pretty head, good top of head, well carried ears. Okay bite. In excellent coat of good texture. Sound on move. Round feet but otherwise lovely.

Lovely body shape & size. Well constructed either end. Hare feet. Tail well set & carried. Balanced throughout. Sound & free moving. In excellent coat & condition. A great deal to like. RCC

2. PARLOUEVE LOVE ME BETTER (Mr R Lemon) Very nice bitch but mouth a bit too undershot. Good top of head with well positioned ears. Correct oval eye. Balanced body shape, lovely size. Correct hare feet. Excellent tail set & carriage. In good well presented coat. Free moving.

Oval eye, reverse scissor bite. Balanced body well angulated either end. Hare feet. Good tail set & carriage. Good coat texture/feathering. Absolutely sound & balanced throughout without exaggerations. I really liked her. CC

2. TULIBELL PURE INTENTIONS FOR JAZPIPER (Mrs D & Mrs C & Mrs C Coughtrie & Hendry & Paterson) Feminine girl of correct shape & size. Carrying too much weight, but otherwise absolutely lovely throughout. Very pretty head with good skull & well positioned ears, dark oval eyes. Good body shape & height with well laid back shoulders. Good tail set & carriage. Hare feet. In good coat. Sound & free moving. A lot to like about her.
