1st: SAMUEL, Mrs Cheryl & SAMUEL, Mr N & SAMUEL, Miss S Ch Oberitz Upponalle VW 10 year old who carries his years well. A dog of excellent breed type, correct in size, shape and construction. Beautiful masculine head with pleasing expression, sufficient neck into shoulders with enough angulation to allow free movement. Deep ribcage. short loin, rear angles compliment the front. Moves with reach and drive. This is a breed that takes its time to mature, and then continues to shine for many years. RCC

1st: DALY, Miss Emma Whinfoss Kesansoturi (ai) 2 year old dog of smaller, more compact type. Construction ok, enough bone and substance to give a typical outline. Sufficient angulation front and rear. Head could be a touch more masculine. Movement adequate.

Limit Dog (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: DALY, Miss Emma Tabanyaruu Borealis Boo Strongly put together dog. Masculine head, correct muzzle and stop. Expression not enhanced by round eye which could be darker. Good ear set. Neck and shoulder construction good, back level, body well ribbed, short strong loin. Turn of stifle could be better, which affects his rear movement and drive. Won on his superior breed type.              

2nd: JARVIS, Mr Keith & JARVIS, Mrs Karen Elbereth Nuka JW A young dog with a lot of maturing to do. His head has broadened and this has helped his face and expression come together. Ears large and set a little high. Neck and shoulder ok, front movement a little loose still. Rib cage on the short side and the rest of the length of body is made up of a long loin. Long rear pasterns. Rear movement erratic and lacking drive.

1st: WHYMAN, Mrs Julie & MURRAY, Mr John Ch Lappviken Keltainen Of Manu JW A 3-year old maturing steadily, a good typical head of correct proportions, muzzle with enough taper, well defined stop and broad skull, with a dark oval eye giving him the gentle expression required. Small ears set rather far apart. Good reach of neck and good shoulder angulation, level back, well set tail and rear angles complimenting the front. Well ribbed back with a strong loin, good bone and feet. A good strong mover.  CC          

2nd: ALLISON, Ms N J Ch Oberitz Kaamoksen Ruhtinas JW A solid mature dog with a strong head, good stop and broad skull. Good reach of neck and a pleasing outline. Correct angles front and rear. Level back, correct rib cage with the necessary heart- and lung room. I really like his coat, which is relatively short with a exceptionally dense undercoat, probably the most weather-resistant type that exists in this breed.

1st: ISHERWOOD, Mrs J & ISHERWOOD, Mr B Starlapps Javri JW An eye-catching young bitch, who has a lovely balanced outline and the most beautiful feminine head you could wish for. Everything in proportion, skull, muzzle, dark oval eyes well set, correct stop, small ears also well set. Good reach of neck, well laid shoulder, correct return of upper arm. Level back, good tail set, good rear angulation with low set hocks. Rib cage long and deep, short strong loin. Moves well when settled. Well deserved RCC

2nd: CROWHURST, Mrs Susanne Lappviken Rubiini Something of a family reunion, 3 siblings in the entry. Fascinating to see how genetics and nurture have worked. This is a taller type of bitch, well boned and muscled, very fit. Good overall proportions, reach of neck, length of body and limbs. Head maybe a little strong but still feminine, the proportions of muzzle to skull are correct, enough stop and width to the skull, eyes and ears well set. Body well ribbed back, short strong loin. Good angulation front and back, moves well.

Class 1173 LB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: CROSS, Mrs Judi & CROSS, Mr David Lappviken Timantti Of Manu Two pretty girls here, of very different type. This one is more compact, the same versatility as her sister in the previous class, in a smaller package. Her head is a lovely feminine version of a balanced lapphund head with everything as prescribed and pretty with it. Eyes, ears, width of skull, length of muzzle all fit together. Her body follows with correct proportions, good neck and shoulder, well angulated front and rear, well sprung ribs and short loin. Well muscled and fit, a good mover. Pushed hard for RCC, but I feel she still has more maturing to do.                                                  

2nd: CLARK, Ms Nicola Aateli Koira Vakker Yuna At Lumenico (imp Fra) JW      A glamorous young lady, feminine head with good proportions and pleasing expression. Good width of skull and good ear set. Good reach of neck and correct shoulder, back level, rear end and tail set correct. Rib cage sufficiently long and deep. Loin a touch long. Movement could be more positive. All dressed in plentiful, beautifully presented coat at a time most of the opposition are in process of changing theirs for winter. 

Class 1174 OB (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: ALLISON, Ms N J Ch Oberitz Tumma Ruhtinatar I first met this bitch as a scrawny teenager and liked her shape and construction from then on. It has taken several years for her come together as the beautiful mature bitch she is today. So here she is, a lovely Finnish Lapphund, correct in type, size and outline. Head with wide skull, correct stop and muzzle tapering to the nose and well shaped dark eye create the correct expression. Ears well placed, but a touch large. Good reach of neck and good shoulder with a particularly good return of the upper arm. Ribs well sprung, loin short and strong. Level back, well set tail, rear angles to match. She also has the shorter coat with the super dense undercoat. BCC and BOB over an excellent young dog who needs another year or so to mature.

2nd: STANLEY, Mr S & STANLEY, Mrs A Ansalfrose Wivi JW A compact, well constructed bitch with a good head, correct stop, eye shape and -set and enough distance between her ears. She’s well boned, with good neck, level back and deep ribcage. Shoulder angles correct with a good return of the upper arm. Strong loin, good turn of stifle, low set hocks. Moves well.
