1. Moore’s Odivane Brotherhood of Man. Most impressive pepper/salt of 14 mths. Excelling for type, carrying strong bone and presenting the outline I was looking for. Slightly arched neck of good length, firm backline which slopes slightly as desired, brisket reaches the elbows, excellent ribbing, muscular loin and tail set on high and of good carriage. Masculine head with flat forehead, super eye and ear, strength to muzzle and correct dentition. He has good angles front and rear, stands just right in front and is well-muscled all through. Gaiting freely on the down and back and has a good length of stride on the go around. Well presented with harsh, wiry jacket. A thoroughly well deserved CC & BOB here today.

1. Ladner’s Elrond of Imladris at Dalhambury TAF. 20 mth old pepper/salt who pleased for overall type, is well off for bone and all male. Muscular neck of good length, correct topline which slopes slightly from withers to croup, pleasing rib, short loin and very good tail for set and carriage. Pleasing head with masculine expression; moderate breadth to skull, oval-shaped eyes, ears set on high, powerful muzzle and scissor bite. He stands true in front on compact feet with pleasing breadth to chest. Moving well when coming towards and pretty well on the go around but could be firmer in rear. Good texture to coat.

2. Davies’ Agbelladon Constantine with Myrtlemagic. Pepper/salt of 20 mths who presents a pleasing outline with clean, slightly arched neck, firm backline with desired slope, good depth to brisket, well-muscled loin and tail set on well but not carriage of winner. Pleasing head and expression; flat forehead, dark oval-shaped eyes, ears set on high and correct scissor bite. I would like to see more breadth in forechest and this reflects both standing and on the move, however he went well when viewed in profile and scored over 1 when going away. Well handled.

1. Railton’s Lefenix Me Myself and I. 22 mth old pepper/salt. Solid lad who presented a pleasing outline. Excellent neck, firm topline with slight slope from withers to croup, good depth to brisket, super ribbing, well-muscled loin and tail set on high. Masculine headpiece with flat forehead of moderate breadth, a touch more definition to stop, expressive eyes, ears set on well and scissor bite. Pleasing angulation both ends, well developed in forechest and stands on cat-like feet. Gaiting freely on the down and back and also goes well when viewed in profile. Presented in firm, hard condition. Coat could be harsher.

1. Lewington’s Ch/Bel Ch Dark Design Leebren Grand Calvera. 2 yr old black who was good to go over, has a super temperament and was well handled here. Balanced in outline with a super neck, firm back with slight slope to the rear, brisket reaches the elbows, short muscular loin and tail set on high and of good carriage. Nicely proportioned head with moderate breadth between his well set ears, expressive oval-shaped eyes, medium stop, strength to muzzle and scissor bite. I liked his angles front and rear and he stands on correct feet. On the move, he is accurate when coming and going and goes so well when viewed in profile with excellent carriage. Pretty good coat texture. RCC.

2. Toms & Daws’ Minnienoom Navigator. Substantial pepper/salt approaching 5 yrs and another with an outstanding temperament. Well off for bone, he presents the correct outline of the breed with strong, slightly arched neck, firm topline, good depth to brisket, well sprung ribs, short loin and tail set on high and of good carriage. Masculine head with good skull, moderate stop, pleasing eye and ear and strength to muzzle. He stands on good feet but is a little untidy. When gaiting he couldn’t quite match the action of winner. Best of coats. So well handled.

1. Mather’s Danelbeks Arthur Mo. 7 yr old pepper/salt who I thought an excellent type. Carrying strong bone, he is sturdily built and presented a very good outline with slightly arched, muscular neck of correct length to balance, characteristic topline, brisket reaches the elbows, well sprung ribbing, firm loin and tail set on high. Strength to head with moderate breadth of skull, moderate stop, expressive oval-shaped eyes of good colour and ears set on high. Pleasing angulation front and rear and he stands well naturally on excellent feet. On the move, he displays good reach and drive on the go around, is nice and firm when going away and ok coming towards. Pretty good texture to jacket. Best Veteran.

1. Johnson’s Lefenix Northern Star. Promising pepper/salt of 11 mths who is nicely balanced with neck of good length, straight backline, rib developing well and chest of good depth for age, short loin, firm croup and tail set on high and of good carriage. Feminine headpiece with flat forehead, expressive oval-shaped eyes, ears set on well, moderate stop and correct dentition. She needs time to further develop in forechest and she can stand a little untidy right now. When gaiting, she went well on the go around and was more than ok on the down and back. Very good coat texture. Best Puppy.

1. Maiden’s Maidluns Angel of Mine. 13 mth old pepper/salt who appealed for overall type and presents a good outline. Muscular neck which is slightly arched, typical topline sloping slightly from the withers, brisket reaches the elbows, ribbed well back and tail of good carriage. Nicely proportioned head with feminine expression, excellent skull, dark oval-shaped eyes, ears set on high, powerful muzzle and scissor bite. Pleasing angles both ends and she stands on good feet. Moving out well when viewed in profile and driving well from the rear. Good quality coat.

1. Mather’s Miccosukees Dream Girl to Danelbeks. Two very different pepper/salts challenged in this class. This girl, approaching 3 yrs, came out on top and for me she comfortably took the class even though she wasn’t entirely settled on the move. Carrying strong bone and plenty of substance, she was good to go over. She has a very good neck, short back with pretty good topline, brisket reaches the elbows and tail set on high as required. Feminine head with flat forehead, expressive eyes of good colour, ears set on well and strength to muzzle. She has good angulation front and rear and is well developed in forechest. Scored on the move over 2. Excellent texture to coat. 

2. Railton’s Miccosukees I Am Here with Lefenix. 22 mth old who is feminine throughout. Neck of sufficient length, short back with firm topline, ribcage of good length, short loin and tail pleased for set and carriage. Attractive head and expression with moderate breadth to skull between her well set ears, oval-shaped eyes of good colour and correct dentition. I would like to see more development of forechest which hopefully will come in time. Moving true when coming and going but would like to see more drive from the rear when viewed in profile. Good quality coat.

1. King’s Odivane Woman’s Own at Jakasbi. This was another class where two quite different bitches competed. This 4 yr old pepper/salt was my winner. With pleasing bone and substance, she was good to go over and was well handled here. Neck of good length, firm topline but would like to see more evidence of a slight slope, deep in brisket, well sprung ribs, muscular loin and tail set on high. Head of good proportions with flat forehead, moderate stop, good eye and ear and correct scissor bite and overall scoring of 2 in expression. Gaiting freely on the down and back and moving out pretty well when viewed in profile. Harsh, wiry jacket. 

2. Morgan’s Leebren Midnight Star Gazer at Hexenmeister. 5 yr old black who also has much to like. She presents a very good outline with an excellent neck, firm backline, brisket reaches the elbows, pleasing rib, short loin and tail set on high and of good carriage. Feminine head with moderate breadth to skull, expressive eyes and correct dentition but right ears detracts somewhat. This girl has pleasing angulation both ends and stands well naturally. On the move, she went well on the go around but winner had the edge coming and going. Fair coat texture.

1. Lewington’s Cze/Rom Ch Ciao Bella Leebren Grand Calvera. 2 yr old black who presents such a good outline with slightly arched neck of correct length to give balance, short back with characteristic slope from withers to croup, good depth to chest, ribs well sprung, nice and short in the couplings and tail set on high and of good carriage. Very nice head and expression; moderate breadth to skull between high set ears, mediums top, oval-shaped eyes, powerful muzzle and scissor bite. Shoulders well laid, elbows close to the body and stands true in front on compact feet. When gaiting, she greatly impressed when viewed in profile, opening up well, holding her topline and with excellent self carriage. Well handled. CC. 

2. Moore’s Ch Odivane Sister Act. 6 yr old pepper/salt who is very different to the winner and another full of quality. She excels for type, carries strong bone and was good hands on. Super outline with slightly arched neck, firm backline with desired slope, first class ribbing, well-muscled loin and tail set on high and carried well. Quality head with strength, yet retaining femininity; excellent eye and ear, mediums top, powerful muzzle and scissor bite. She has good angles front and rear and is well developed in forechest. Moves out very well on the go around but winner had the edge coming and going. Coat of excellent texture . RCC.

1. Watson’s Ch Miccosukees Guess Who at Jalero. Two pleasing pepper/salts here with this 8 yr old taking the win. Pleasing for type, she was very good hands on, carries strong bone and plenty of substance. Neck of correct length to give balance, excellent topline, chest of good depth, ribbing well sprung, firm loin and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Most attractive head with good skull, moderate stop, dark expressive oval-shaped eyes, ears set on well, strength to muzzle and correct dentition. Standing well naturally in front on cat-like feet and didn’t disappoint when gaiting, going particularly well on the go around. Excellent texture to coat. 

2. Mather’s Danelbeks A Kind of Magic. 7 yr old with a fabulous temperament who carries excellent bone and substance and presents a typical outline. Slightly arched, muscular neck, firm backline, brisket of good depth, pleasing rib, short loin and tail set on high. Feminine headpiece with excellent skull, moderate stop, dark expressive eyes, ears of correct set, powerful muzzle and first class dentition. I liked her angles front and rear, she is well developed in forechest and stands on compact feet. Gaiting well when viewed in profile and nice and firm in the rear but winner had the edge coming towards. Good coat and furnishings.
