1. Weaver’s Shalissa's Dolce An Gabanna. A somewhat varied class to start the day which saw two 9 mth old black/rust litter brothers place first and second. This lad taking the win on overall soundness for me. Lean neck of good length, good depth to chest, topline sloping slightly as desired, firm loin and tail of correct set. Masculine head with parallel planes, expressive almond-shaped eyes, ears set on high, clean cheeks and correct dentition. He stands true in front on very good feet but needs more breadth which hopefully will come with time. Gaiting freely on the down and back. Best Special Beginners.

2. Williams’ Shalissa's Mulberry. This boy presents a compact outline, being a touch shorter in back than his brother, pleased for neck, topline is straight with slight slope, good depth to brisket and tail is set on as desired. Head of correct proportions with parallel planes, expressive eyes of good colour, ears set on high, clean through the cheeks and good depth to muzzle. He has a pleasing forechest but can stand a little untidy. Pleasing action on the go around but a touch closer going away. 

3. Lyon’s Frumoasa Doamna

1. Goodall’s Mianna's Mississippi Stud. 6 mth old black/rust who pleased in outline with muscular neck of correct length to balance, short back which slopes slightly from withers to croup, chest of good depth, pleasing rib for age, firm loin and tail set on correctly. Balanced headpiece with good planes, almond-shaped eyes of good colour, ears set on just right and correct dentition. Elbows close to the chest, straight forelegs and stands on compact feet. Forechest to develop as you would expect. On the move, he was clean on the down and back but could open a touch more on the go around.

1. Kelly & Mycroft’s Supeta's Daredevil. The first two in this class very much appealed with this 10 mth old brown/rust coming out on top. Impressive pup who is all male, carrying good bone and well-muscled all through. He presents a balanced outline with excellent neck, firm back which slopes slightly as required, brisket reaches the elbows, very good rib for age, muscular loin and tail pleased for set and carriage. Masculine headpiece with flat skull, super eye and ear, muzzle of correct length to balance, flat cheeks and scissor bite. I liked his angulation front and rear, he stands true in front on compact feet and also pleased in forechest. Opens up well on the go around with plenty of drive from the rear and carries himself well. Best Puppy. Pleased to see he later took Puppy Group 2.  

2. Little’s Grafmax Arthur of Camelot. This 10 mth old black/rust wasn’t entirely settled on the day but he did more than enough to secure this placing. I thought him an excellent type and he was good hands on. Well off for bone and presented in firm, hard condition, he is balanced on outline with muscular neck of good length, firm backline with slight slope towards the rear, excellent ribbing for age, good depth to chest, correct croup and tail set on just right. Quality head with good skull to muzzle proportions which lie in the same plane, almond-shaped eyes of good colour, flat cheeks and correct dentition. Soundly built all through, moving freely coming and going and also pleased when viewed in profile. 

3. Goodall’s Mianna's Mississippi Stud

JD (2,1)

1. Thorn’s Grafmax Excalibur. 10 mth old brown/rust who turned out to be the litter brother to the boy placed second in the previous class. Unfortunately this lad wasn’t too settled either, I guess due to the handler having just come straight out of puppy. Carrying good bone, well-muscled and with the desired elegance of the breed. He has an excellent neck, correct topline which slopes slightly from withers to croup, brisket reaches the elbows and tail pleased for set and carriage. Well proportioned head with masculine expression; parallel planes, a little more stop than preferred, eyes of correct shape and colour, ears set on high and correct dentition. Standing true in front on compact feet, with pleasing forechest and firm hindquarters with well bent stifles. Moving well when viewed in profile but a little closer going away.

1. Brown, Ingram & Lack’s Jojavik Assassin's Code JW. The first two here pleased, both black/rust, but they are completely different to one another. This 20 mth old was my winner. Strong, yet elegant, he presented such good outline with an excellent neck, firm backline which slopes slightly towards the rear, brisket reaches the elbows, well sprung ribs, muscular loin and tail good for set and carriage. Balanced headpiece with correct planes, flat skull, expressive eyes of good shape and colour, ears set on high, clean through the cheeks and correct dentition. He has correct angles both front and rear, pleased in forechest, stands nice and straight in front on compact feet and is well-muscled all through. Scoring on the go around with confident carriage, true when going away and although good coming towards he could just be a touch firmer at the pastern.  

2. Kershaw’s Aritaur Tuscan. 13 mth out of a larger mould than the winner. Certainly all male, well off for bone yet still with elegance. He is compact in outline with a muscular neck of correct length, short back with firm topline, sloping towards the rear, good depth to chest, correct croup and tail of pleasing set. Masculine head with flat skull, almond-shaped eyes of good colour, ears set on high, muzzle of correct length to balance and lying on the same plane as the skull and correct dentition, however winner had the edge in overall expression for me. Pleasing angulation front and rear, nice straight forelegs, compact feet and firm, muscular hindquarters. Gaiting freely fore and aft and handled to advantage. 

3. Lyon’s Roman's Scipioafricanus

PGD (3,0)

1. Billington’s Shalissa's Louis Vuitton avec Aquepins. 10 mth old black/rust who presented a pleasing outline with fairly long, muscular neck, nice short back which slopes slightly as required, good depth to chest, rib developing well, firm loin and tail set on ok. Nicely proportioned head with correct planes, expressive eyes of good colour, ears set on high, flat cheeks and correct scissor bite. Carrying good bone, he stands well naturally in front on compact feet. On the moves, he was clean when coming and going and also pleased on the go around. 

2. Cannon’s Sacaria's Blues JW. 2 yr old brown who was very well handled here. Not quite the outline of the winner having a touch more length which comes from the loin, however he has a very good neck which is lean and muscular, correct backline with slight slope towards the rear, good depth to brisket and firm croup. Masculine head and expression with correct skull to muzzle proportions, parallel planes, slight stop, pleasing eye and ear and correct dentition. Standing true in front and well developed in forechest. Moving freely all through. 

3. Kuhl’s Changathi Dobermann's General (imp Brz)

1. Bishop-Gamble’s Korifey Heartbreak to Sacaria. Some very different dogs challenged in this class and I selected this 3 yr old brown/rust as my winner. Soundly constructed, of medium size, compact and with the elegance of the breed. He has a good length of neck, short back with slight slope from withers to croup, brisket reaches the elbows, well-muscled loin, correct croup and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Nicely proportioned head with flat skull, slight stop, correct planes, almond-shaped eyes, ears set on high, flat cheeks and scissor bite. Good angles front and rear, standing nice and straight in front on very good feet and well-muscled all through. Gaiting freely when coming and going and also pleased when viewed in profile. Very well handled. 

2. De Haaff’s Krieger's Limelight JW. 2 yr old black who is all male, well off for bone and substance yet still with the elegance of the breed. Muscular neck, firm backline with slight slope but he has a touch more length, good depth to chest, well sprung ribbing, well filled in croup and tail set and carried just right. Quality head with masculine expression; flat skull, slight stop, very good eye and ear, muzzle proportionate in length to that of skull and lying on the same plane, clean cheeks and scissor bite. Standing true in front and on very good feet and with a super forechest. Gaiting freely on the down and back and although goes well on the go around, winner just had the edge. 

3. Hickling’s Evalesco Ego Boost JW

1. Brannan & Mycroft’s Ch Supetas Boys Are Back In Town JW. 2 yr old brown/rust who very much appealed and was a delight to go over given his correct construction. A medium-sized lad, compact as desired, presented in firm, hard condition and shown to advantage. Lean neck of correct length to give balance, short back with straight backline which slopes slightly from withers to well filled in croup, excellent ribbing, muscular loin and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Masculine headpiece with good skull to muzzle proportions, parallel planes, expressive almond-shaped eyes of good colour, ears set on high, clean through the cheeks, good depth to muzzle and scissor bite. Impressive front assembly with excellent forechest and feet and firm, muscular hindquarters with well turned stifles. On the move, he was totally sound coming and going and covered the ground with purpose when viewed in profile. CC & BOB and later went on to take Group 4. Interesting to see that he is the sire to both Best Puppy Dog and Best Puppy Bitch and litter brother to my Reserve Bitch CC winner today.

2. Brown & Ingram’s Ch Jojavik Shaken Not Stirred JW. This 3 yr old black/rust is another good one and so very well handled here. All male, he is out of a slightly larger mould than the winner, shown in superb condition and so good hands on. There is strength to his outline whilst retaining the elegance of the breed; excellent neck, firm backline with characteristic slope, chest of good depth, ribbing well sprung, muscular loin and correct croup. Balanced headpiece with correct planes, flat skull, ears set on high, almond-shaped eyes which are dark enough, flat cheeks and correct dentition. I liked his angulation both ends and he stands nice and straight in front, has very good feet and is well developed in forechest. Gaiting freely all through and making the most of himself at all times. RCC. 

3. Blackburn’s Ch Knecht Little Richard JW ShCEx OSW

MPB (2,0)

1. Harris’ Ruholfia Diya (IKC). Black/rust of 8 mths who comfortably took the win here for me. She presented a pleasing outline with lean neck of correct length, short straight back sloping slightly as required, good depth to brisket, pleasing rib development, tad ‘milky’ in underline right now, firm loin, correct croup and tail set on as one would want. Head of correct proportions with feminine expression; slight stop, almond-shaped eyes of good colour, flat cheeks and good dentition. She carries pleasing bone, stands nice and straight in front on compact feet and elbows are close to the body. Pleasing angles both ends and she went well all through when gaiting. 

2. Spindley’s Mianna's Calamity Jane at Mytanamy. 7 mth old black/rust of lighter frame than the winner and quite raw right now. She has a pleasing neck, is correct in topline with desired slope towards the rear, ribbing still to develop, well filled in croup and tail good for set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with equal skull to muzzle lengths, slight stop, parallel planes, almond-shaped eyes of good colour and scissor bite. Standing well naturally in front but needing to fill out, compact feet and pleasing turn of stifle. Moving accurately coming towards, somewhat closer going away and out-moved by winner on the go around.

1. Hickling’s Supeta's Black Widow at Evalesco. 10 mth old black/rust who presented a balanced outline with lean, muscular neck, short back with slight slope towards the hindquarters, chest of good depth, firm loin, well filled in croup and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Attractive head with feminine expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, slight stop, dark almond-shaped eyes, ears set on high, flat cheeks, good depth to muzzle and scissor bite. She has good angles front and rear, stands nice and straight in front on excellent feet and pleased in forechest too. Gaiting cleanly on the down and back and also went well when viewed in profile. Well handled. Best Puppy Bitch.

2. Cannon’s Supeta's Jazzylicious. 11 mth old black/rust who also has much to like although going through a phantom right now which gave her an untidy underline. Neck of good length to balance, straight backline with desired slope towards a firm croup, brisket of good depth, muscular loin and correct set on. Well proportioned head with parallel planes, expressive eyes, ears set on high, clean through the cheeks and correct dentition. Elbows close to the chest, straight forelegs, compact feet and well developed in forechest. Moving nice and free when coming and going and although she also pleased on the go, winner had the edge for me. 

3. Lyon’s Chicleteira Bicicleteira

1. De Haaff’s Krieger's New Illusion JW Lux JCh. Two pleasing bitches competed here, although quite different to one another. This 16 mth old brown took the win and she was very good hands on being well made all through. She has a touch more length than the girl placed second but is in no way unbalanced. She has an excellent neck, firm backline which slopes slightly towards the rear, brisket reaches the elbows, well sprung ribbing, good underline and tail pleased for set and carriage. Super head and expression with skull and muzzle proportionate in length and lying on the same plane, excellent eye and ear, depth to muzzle and correct dentition. Standing well naturally on good feet, while on the move, she pleased when coming and going and opened up well when viewed in profile. 

2. Sharp & Goodall’s Mianna Full Circle with Martifers. 14 mth old black/rust who is totally feminine and was very well handled here. She presents a compact outline with lean, muscular neck, firm topline sloping slightly towards the rear, chest of good depth, pleasing rib and well filled in croup. Feminine in head with good skull to muzzle proportions, eyes of good colour, ears set on high and parallel planes but overall preferred expression of winner. Standing true in front on correct feet and muscular hindquarters with well bent stifles. Gaiting freely too and fro but 1 had the edge on the go around.

1. Evans’ Amazon Until I Found Her. Black/rust of 12 mths who very much appealed and was a delight hands on given her sound construction. She pleased for size, presents a compact outline and is elegant throughout. Excellent neck, firm straight back with slight slope to the rear, brisket reaches her close fitting elbows, very good rib, pleasing underline, correct croup and tail good for both set and carriage. Feminine headpiece with flat skull, slight stop, equal skull to muzzle lengths, flat cheeks and good depth to muzzle. Impressive front assembly, standing on super feet and firm, well-muscled hindquarters with well bent stifles. Gaiting freely on the down and back and also goes so well when viewed in profile.

2. Robinson’s Korifey Matchy Matchy JW. 23 mth old black/rust who also has much to like. Feminine all through with the desired elegance of the breed. Lean, muscular neck, characteristic backline but just a touch more length to that of the winner, good depth to brisket, well sprung ribbing, correct croup and tail pleased for set and carriage. Balanced headpiece with eyes of good colour, ears set on high, flat cheeks and scissor bite, however expression couldn’t match that of 1 for me. I liked her angulation front and rear and she stands well naturally on very good feet. Accurate when coming and going and also pleased on the go around. 

3. Sharp & Goodall’s Mianna Full Circle with Martifers

1. Blackburn’s Knecht Mirelle JW. Brown/rust approaching 3 yrs. This girl has plenty to like, presenting a well balanced outline, carrying good bone and with the desired elegance. Muscular, lean neck, typical topline of the breed, chest of good depth, ribcage extends well back, firm loin, correct croup and tail of good set and carriage. Attractive head of good skull to muzzle proportions, parallel planes, almond-shaped eyes of good colour, cheeks are flat as required and dentition is correct. Forequarters pleased with shoulders well laid, elbows close to the chest, straight forelegs and standing on excellent feet. On the move, she pleased on the go around, is very good coming towards and ok going away.

LB (7,2)

1. Stracey’s Krieger's Mirror Image JW. Three pleasing bitches headed this class with this elegant 2 yr old brown/rust taking the win. Balanced girl with a very good neck, firm straight back which slopes slightly towards the hindquarters, brisket reaches the elbows, excellent ribbing, good underline, muscular loin, correct croup and tail pleased for both set and carriage. Balanced head with feminine expression; flat skull, parallel planes, correct stop, super eye and ear, clean through the cheeks and scissor bite. Well laid shoulders, very good in forechest, stands true on compact feet and firm hindquarters with well bent stifles. Totally sound when gaiting and handled to advantage here. 

2. Brannan, Mycroft & Brough’s Supeta's Playing With Fire Avec Aniiraz. 20 mth old brown/rust who was close up to the winner. Nice and compact in outline with an excellent neck, short back sloping slightly towards a well filled in croup, ribs well sprung, firm muscular loin and tail of correct set. Most attractive head, full of femininity, well proportioned and good planes, expressive almond-shaped eyes, ears set on high, flat cheeks and scissor bite. Pleasing angles front and rear, standing straight in front albeit a touch wider, compact feet and firm, well-muscled hindquarters. On the move, she was a delight on the go around and carries herself so well and nice and true when going away.

3. Hutchison’s Supeta's Debison's Allure

OB (4,1)

1. Pardoe’s Ch Aritaur Daring at Dobiedar JW. Coming up to 3 yrs, I thought this black/rust girl something special and she was sublime hands on. Correct for size, presented in firm hard condition, elegant throughout and beautifully balanced. Lean neck of correct length, short straight back which slopes slightly towards the rear, first class ribbing, good underline, well-muscled loin, correct croup and tail pleasing for both set and carriage. Super head and expression; flat skull, slight stop, dark almond-shaped eyes, ears set on high, muzzle of correct length to give balance and on the same plane as the skull, flat cheeks, good depth to muzzle and scissor bite. Of sound construction both front and rear, standing well naturally in front on very good feet and well developed in forechest. On the move, she was accurate on the down and back and was a delight when viewed in profile. Very well handled to take the CC today. 

2. Jones’ Ch/Lux Ch Supetas Waiting For An Alibi from Korifey. Brown/rust of 2 yrs who pushed the winner all the way. Totally feminine with the desired elegance of the breed, she too pleased for balance and outline. Lean, muscular neck of correct length, topline sloping slightly towards the hindquarters, brisket reaches her well fitting elbows, excellent rib, firm loin, well filled in croup and tail just right for set and carriage. Quality head with feminine expression; well proportioned and correct for planes, excellent eye and ear, clean through the cheeks, muzzle of good depth and correct dentition. She stands dead on whenever you look at her and certainly didn’t disappoint on the move; gaiting freely fore and aft and excellent on the go around. RCC.
