I would like to say thank you to my stewards Vicki and Fran and to the exhibitors, who I found to be very friendly and sporting.

1ST - Kennedy’s Gillandant Harvest Night at Pyrcot . 10 month old male of an excellent type. A well made dog who presents the correct balanced outline. The head has the correct proportions, a dark eye and excellent pigment throughout. There is sufficient chest development for his age, with ribs that are slightly rounded and well ribbed back. A level topline and correctly set on tail all contribute to the overall picture of this well put together youngster. Neck fairly short with correct angulations fore and aft and the hindquarters are well muscled, which contribute to his balanced, unhurried profile movement. The front action needs to settle and foot placement on the stack needs to be watched. The coat has a good texture. Presented in excellent condition.
Junior Dog (1,0a)
1ST McDowell’s Amarante Della Rocca Dei Patous at Granchester (Imp Ita) 17th month old male with strong bone, well balanced in outline and head of correct proportions, dark almond shaped eyes with excellent pigment. Feet could be slightly more compact. Ribcage slightly rounded, and well ribbed back. A shade more angulation fore and aft would benefit and a little more strength in pasterns. In profile the movement was balanced and unhurried, and more drive behind would be to his advantage. Coat of a good texture and well presented.

1ST Pollard & Maggs Ch Gillandant Thief of Hearts at Dewyche ShCEx . This mature imposing male took my eye when he entered the class, without a doubt, well balanced and of noble bearing. He did not disappoint when examined closely. His head has the correct proportions, masculine, with a lovely dark almond shaped eye and excellent pigment throughout. Strongly boned, with a fairly short neck, correct angulations fore and aft and a broad chest which was well let down. The ribcage slightly rounded and well ribbed back. The movement was free and unhurried with powerful hind action balanced out by true and correct front action all the while holding a level topline. The coat was of the correct texture and overall, presented to the highest standard. Best Male/BOB and later went on to be placed third in the group.
2ND Trinka’s Am Ch Rivergroves Sweet Dreams Are Made of This. This male was presented to the highest standard. A head of good proportions, more refined than 1, a dark almond shaped eye and excellent pigment throughout. The chest is broad with slightly rounded ribcage that was well ribbed back, level topline and well set on and carried tail, both stacked and on the move. He moved freely and well in all aspects, and his placing reflected his soundness. I preferred the overall outline and balance of the winner. Reserve Best Dog

Veteran Dog (1,0a)
1st Shepherd’s Vis’kali’s Hazuki del Avantgarde (Imp Swe) (ai) This 7 ½ year old was feeling the heat on the day and had no desire to put any effort into giving more on the move. That said, he was imposing with a masculine head of good proportions, eye lids a little loose, but good pigment throughout. He had the correct outline, although the topline could have been firmer. Lovely soft temperament. Best Veteran

Minor Puppy Bitch (1,0a)
1ST Challinor’s Shanlimore Monique at Myrelis. This 6-month-old is, and I am stating the obvious, but she was very much the baby of the day. Feminine with good head proportions but at a very immature stage of development. Almond shaped dark eyes, excellent pigment throughout. Slightly longer than high with ample bone. Good topline with ample ribcage for her age, which was well ribbed back. On the move had good drive in the rear with front action just needing to settle. She was very settled and happy in the ring and was well presented and handled.

1st Pollard’s Gillandant Just Exquisit . This 10-month-old feminine girl’s name could not be more apt. A head of correct proportions with a dark almond shaped eye and excellent pigment throughout. With the correct bone, straight forelegs and compact feet with ample chest development for her age. The head carriage, fairly short neck, level topline, tail set and carriage, correct angulations fore and aft all contributed to a very pleasing outline. She carried her tail well on the move and she was sound in all aspects. She scored in her front movement which is attributed to her well made front assembly. She has a good coat and texture and was presented to the highest standard. I could not deny this quality female Best Bitch/ Best of Opposite/Best Puppy.
2nd Cave’s - Lisjovia Crowning Glory at Casiann . This 10-month-old feminine girl is at that the awkward stage of her development. Feminine with dark almond shaped eye and excellent pigment throughout, well placed ears. Slightly longer than high her topline is a little slack at the moment with ample bone and a slightly rounded ribcage which is well ribbed back. She moved well in profile. This female is a nice type but just needs time. Correct texture coat and well presented. Best Special Beginner
Junior Bitch (1,0a)
1st Baverstock’s Kalkasi The Eternal Quest . This 15 month hold female is feminine with a head of good proportions , dark almond eyes with excellent pigment throughout. Stop a little more obvious, but head is still developing. Overall balanced outline, standing well fore and aft although a little narrow through and more development of chest would be to her advantage. Well ribbed back with level topline and correct tail set. The profile movement was balanced. Good texture coat and well presented. Res Best Bitch

1ST Kennedy’s Gamuvel Patou via Dell Amore at Pyrcot (Imp Lva) This female is coming up to 3 years of age and her head is of good proportions although a slightly stronger that some of her female counterparts. She is strongly boned with correct angles fore and aft, level topline and slightly sprung ribcage that was well ribbed back. She moved freely, driving behind, albeit a shade close, her front movement was very true. Good texture to her coat and well presented.
2ND Tadd’s Chia Apaltasunez avec Kricarno (Imp Cze) This female of 22 months is feminine, with good proportions with excellent pigment throughout. Her body being slightly longer than high at withers, a shade more bone would be to her advantage as would more chest development. The ribcage is slightly round, and her profile movement is balanced. Good texture coat and she was well presented.
