My thanks to the committee for an enjoyable morning. I had some real quality exhibits.

Junior (1)

1st Pierce, Mr J & Mrs R, Flatcharm Hobgoblin At Tarnmillcrag

 A lovely male of excellent breed type, presenting a beautifully balanced outline and possessing much of the style so characteristic of the breed. Masculine head of good length and moulding, with a kind, intelligent expression and dark eye. Good reach of neck flowing into well-laid shoulders, deep through the chest with well-sprung ribs and a strong loin. Soundly constructed throughout with good angulation fore and aft, giving a particularly balanced picture when standing. Presented in excellent coat and hard condition. On the move he came into his own, covering the ground freely and effortlessly with excellent reach and drive, holding a firm topline and moving straight and true in both directions. Still has a little maturing to do, which should further enhance his overall finish, but his quality, balance and fluent movement already mark him out as a very promising and worthy representative of the breed. Best of Breed.

A lovely young bitch of excellent breed type and femininity who immediately catches the eye. Very pretty head with a kind, intelligent expression and dark eye. Clean neck flowing into well-laid shoulders, good depth of chest and a well-balanced body. Soundly constructed throughout with pleasing angulation and enough bone while retaining her feminine quality. Presented in excellent coat and condition. Moved freely and true, maintaining a balanced outline with good reach and drive. An attractive youngster who presents a very pleasing picture both standing and, on the move, with a bright future ahead.

1st Pingree, Ms S. Calzeat Gentleman’s Agreement to Heathridge JW ShCEx (Imp Swe)

An upstanding male of good breed type who immediately gives the impression of strength and substance without losing balance. Pleasing head with a kind expression, complemented by a strong neck flowing into a well-made front. Deep through the body with good ribbing and a strong, muscular frame. Well coated and presented in excellent condition, with plenty of muscle throughout. Moved true both coming and going, covering the ground with purpose and maintaining a sound outline. A happy, outgoing dog who thoroughly enjoys his day out, always accompanied by that characteristic ever-wagging Flat coat tail. A sound, well-made dog.
