I would like to thank Joan Savage, the Officers and Committee of Larkhall for inviting me to judge these two breeds at their Centenary Show. They worked hard making this a special show. Congratulations. I would also like to thank my two Stewards Angela and Sheila who looked after the Toy ring 

Papillon

J (3, 2)

1 Taylor Pamhurst Neeps and Tatties 17-month-old male black and white beautifully presented with adult coat coming in. Makes a lovely picture standing. Balanced head, correctly set ears with good fringing. Lovely bright dark eyes, with dark rims and black nose. Moved well round the ring with correct tail carriage. 

PG (5, 2)

1 Davidson Northlyte Silver Surfer 19-month-old male black and white attractive face with good eye, bite and ears. Level topline whilst moving and standing. Moved very well round the ring. BOB

2 Taylor Pamhurst Picasso 4-year-old male black and white, beautifully presented in full coat and good plumbed tail. Good neck and shoulders with good width to chest. Moved well. I preferred the size of the winner 

3 Bogue Pamhurst Wee Commando 

O (7, 5)

1 Taylor Pamhurst One and Only 3-year-old male tri he was eye-catching as he moved around the ring. Full coat and furnishings with beautiful plumbed tail. Lovely head with correct proportions of muzzle and skull. Missing the blaze but dark bright eyes, dark rims and good dentition. 

2 Harvie Afterglow Barbie Doll with Penchrystona 3-year-old bitch red sable and white. Smaller size and coat just coming back. Very attentive to handler. Beautifully balance head with blaze, dark eyes, dark rims and good dentition. Moved well just preferred the rear movement of the winner. 

Pomeranian 

P (1, 0)

1 Carrigan Energy Surge Crystal Edition at Carripom 8-month-old bitch orange sable. Made a lovely picture compact, short coupled and standing four square. Moved with the required brisk and buoyant characteristics of the breed 

J (2, 0)

1 Mcalpine Divinity on the Rocks 16 months old male orange sable. Moved well, he is narrow in his frame. Beautiful double coat, fine bones with straight front, good rear and small feet. Attractive face with dark muzzle, head with lovely expression. 

2 Ogilvie Yoshe Best Buddy 14-month-old male orange sable. Well- presented in double coat and tail over his back, both standing and moving. He has brisk movement. He has good construction of neck, shoulders and topline. I find him a little longer on the leg. I preferred the compact picture of the winner. 

PG (4, 2) A difficult decision between these two lovely exhibits. 

1 McDowall Altina’s Margarita For Carberry 18-month-old bitch pale orange and a very good mover, brisk and buoyant. Beautiful double coat, she had a good frill abundant round her neck and shoulders. Fine bone, good legs and small feet. A close decision on her and the Open winner for Best of Breed. 

2 Carrigan Fiona Crystal Edition At Carripom 2-year-old bitch small and compact as the breed standard. Good brisk buoyant movement. Made a lovely picture standing. She is smaller than the winner but she is in good double coat and has pretty head and expression. Good neck shoulders and short coupled in body. Good feet. 

O (5, 2)

1 Carrigan Carripom Hugo Boss 18-month-old male orange. He is compact and short coupled and makes a lovely picture both standing and on the move. Lovely head and expression, small ears which were held erect. Well boned and good short coupled body with good legs and feet. Shown in lovely coat and condition. BOB

2 Nixon Kazpom No Doubt 3-year-old male dark orange sable. Well-presented in double coat, ruff and plumbed tail. Lovely head and expressing and neat ears which were erect. Moved well but I preferred the more accurate movement of the winner. 

3 Ogilvie Altina’s Hint Of Brooklyn bitch
