Premier Open Show - Saturday, 26 September 2026

The Sandylands Centre, Stafford Showgrounds

I would like to thank the officers and committee of Birmingham & District Gundog & Terrier Club for inviting me to judge at their Premier Open Show. My thanks also go to the exhibitors for bringing forward such an interesting and varied entry, and to my stewards for their efficient help throughout the day.

My principal awards were Gundog Group 1 and Puppy Group 1 to the Clumber Spaniel Vanitonia Spectre of Galbraith, who later, on the decision of the referee, was awarded Best Puppy in Show. The American Cocker Spaniel Dreamcast Elysium at Carolco took Gundog Group 3, while the delightful veteran Sandlauga Soul Man VW CSp was awarded Reserve Best Veteran in Show.
