PUPPY DOG/BITCH

1st. ROWLAND’s BILROSESTAFF SWEETIE PIE – 11-month-old red & white bitch.
A nice-sized bitch with a decent head, good ears and eyes, pleasing expression and lovely pigment. Straight in front. Steep through the shoulder with a short upper arm and a slight dip in the topline. Decent hind angulation. Despite these points, she presented a pleasing overall picture for her age and was awarded BEST PUPPY IN BREED

JUNIOR DOG/BITCH

1st. SHIPP’s IDYLLICSTAFF NANGI – 15-month-old red and white pied bitch.
A compact, strongly built bitch with excellent substance. Correct angulation, nice shoulders and a straight front with particularly pleasing hind angulation. Round eyes with a kind expression. Held her topline well on the move, although she was close behind. I would prefer a shorter neck. Her overall construction and breed qualities gained her BEST BITCH, RESERVE BEST OF BREED & BEST OPPOSITE SEX.

LIMIT DOG/BITCH

1st. BIRMINGHAM’s NIATONA INSPECTOR BLAKE – 2-year-old red & white dog.

A strongly built, masculine dog with a strong, well-proportioned head, tight lips and superb pigment. Straight front, well-laid shoulders and decent hind angulation. Moved well both coming and going. A little taller and longer than my ideal, but his overall soundness, construction and breed qualities carried the day and earned him BEST DOG & BEST OF BREED.

OPEN DOG/BITCH

1st. MITCHELL’s CHEDANSTAFF DEVIL STAR ShCEx VW – 8-year-old black brindle dog.
A mature dog with a beautiful, wide head, correct bite, well-placed ears and super pigment. Short in body and moved with a happy, jaunty action. At eight years of age he was still enjoying his day. Showing some roach to the topline, with a weak second thigh and low pasterns. Nevertheless, he retained several pleasing breed characteristics, particularly in head and expression. BEST VETERAN IN BREED.
