Thank you to the club for inviting me to judge at your show. I would also like to thank everyone who entered and to those who stayed throughout the day. I appreciate that it was a long wait, and I’m very grateful to everyone who stayed to support the show. I completely understand that some were unable to wait until the end, and I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. It was a pleasure to be part of the day, and I’m grateful for the opportunity.

Baby Puppy Dog – 0 Entries

Puppy Dog – 2 Entries 1 Absent

1st – STADWEN DAGWOOD BUMSTEAD

11-month-old puppy with dark, round eyes and a correct bite. Straight in lower legs, though a little down on his feet. He has a fairly long neck, a level topline and well-fitting elbows. Moved well both coming and going. Would prefer a slightly more masculine head, whilst retaining his youthful expression. Best Puppy Dog 

Junior Dog – 2 Entries

1st – BORN TO BE YOUR UNICUM WITH TWINAN (IMP HUN)

Dark, round eye with correct ear set and size. Correct bite, developing chest, straight lower legs, tight feet, pleasing body length and rib, and a level topline. Reached well and moved soundly. A promising puppy with much to like.

2nd – LEVISBROOKS LUNAR ECLIPSE 

Head in proportion, correct bite and okay ears. Slightly longer in body than preferred. Front could be straighter, but he is still a youngster with time to develop. Just right rear angulation with straight hocks. Moved well.

Special Beginners Dog – 2 Entries 1 Absent

1st - HORTONPOINT BLUE LAGOON AT ELORENCE 

Male head with pleasing eye shape and colour. Would prefer a shorter muzzle. Okay depth of chest and sufficient rib, with straight feet and acceptable body length. Would prefer a slightly shorter hock. Moved adequately.

Novice Dog – 0 Entries 

Post Graduate Dog – 3 Entries 1 Absent

1st - LEVISBROOKS LUNAR ECLIPSE 

Head in proportion, correct bite and okay ears. Slightly longer in body than preferred. Front lower legs could be straighter, but he is still a youngster with time to develop. Just right rear angulation with straight hocks. Moved well.

2nd – COQUETMOSS COPPER BEECH AT ERMYN

Masculine head with dark, round eye and well-set ears. Muzzle slightly longer than preferred. Good chest, well-fitting elbows and level topline. Straight lower legs with acceptable rear angulation. Would prefer a little less leg length and stronger rear angulation.

1st – DANGAVLYNS BOLD FORESTER

Masculine head with pleasing eye shape and colour. Would like to see him use his ears more. Lovely chest depth, neat feet straight front lower legs and correct mould, well-fitting elbows and pleasing rib length. Strong rear angulation. Moved soundly front and rear with an easy stride. Topline could be stronger.

2nd – ERMYN LIONHEART

Okay head with pleasing eye shape and colour, correct bite. Straight lower front and tight feet. Would prefer a little more neck to give a less stuffy appearance. Body length in proportion, pleasing rear angulation. Moved well.

1st – UNITA MENTALE HOLLYWOOD PAUL AT EIVISAH (IMP UKR) NBT

Masculine head in proportion to body, with correct eye shape and colour, and well-set ears of pleasing shape. Correct bite, good chest depth, tight feet and straight lower legs and correctmould. Pleasing neck length and level topline. Balanced rear angulation, moved with reach and stride both front and rear. Correct coat lovely condition. Best Dog, Reserve Best Of Breed, Reserve Best In Show

2nd – BABANEIRA KENSINGTON AT FABLECROFT ShCEx

Masculine male with pleasing eye shape and colour, and acceptable ear set. Pleasing neck length, correct rear angulation and a level topline. Lovely coat and condition. Would prefer a slightly wider, flatter head. Moved soundly behind, though unfortunately tended to pull towards his owner in front on the day. Reserve Best Dog 

Veteran Dog – 2 Entries 2 Absent

1st – TWINAN ADD A LITTLE SPICE TO FABLECROFT

Promising puppy with a feminine head in proportion, pleasing eye shape and colour. Correct bone, well-shaped feet and pleasing neck length. Correct rear angulation with straight hocks. Moved soundly front and rear once settled.

2nd – TWINAN TARTE TATIN AVEC OUSEVALE 

Feminine head in proportion, with a pleasing expression and tidy feet. Correct rear angulation. Moved adequately but would benefit from further table training and time to settle.

Puppy Bitch – 5 Entries 2 Absent

1st – TWINAN CHERRY PICKER

Promising female with a pleasing head, eye shape and colour. Lovely developing chest, correctly fitting elbows, tight feet and pleasing body length. Balanced rear angulation with straight hocks. Movement needs a little work, but showed sufficient reach and drive when she did move. Best Puppy Bitch, Best Puppy In Breed, Best Puppy In Show

2nd – GREAT BY LUCKY YOUR LOVE IS MIRACLE 

Feminine female with pleasing head shape, correct bite and eye shape. Pleasing chest and overall length. Moved soundly, though I would prefer a little more length of neck.

3rd – LAWLESS PEACH

Feminine head with dark eye and correct ear set. Pleasing chest depth and neck length, hocks straight and correct length. Moved soundly both front and rear, though carrying a little excess weight on the day.

Happy, feminine girl with pleasing eye shape and colour, well-set ears, correct bite and pleasing body length. Moved well. Needs time to mature, but should develop further with age.

Feminine girl with pleasing eye colour, though I would prefer a slightly smaller eye. Correct bite, good chest depth, straight in lower legs and well-shaped feet. Level topline, pleasing body length and balanced rear angulation. Moved well.

Feminine head with dark eye and correct ear set. Pleasing chest depth and neck length, hocks straight and correct length. Moved soundly both front and rear, though carrying a little excess weight on the day.

Feminine girl with pleasing eye shape, though a slightly darker colour would be preferred. Ears slightly larger. Lovely chest depth, straight in lower legs, pleasing neck length, good rib and balanced rear angulation. Excellent coat and condition. Moved with reach and drive. Reserve Best Bitch

Feminine head with dark, well-shaped eyes and correct ear size and set. Correct bite, pleasing neck length, straight lower legs and acceptable feet. Moulded forearm, correct chest depth with correctly fitting elbows. Balanced rear angulation and straight hocks. Moved with reach and drive. Slightly shorter nails would enhance the finish of the feet.  Best Bitch, Best Of Breed and Best In Show

2nd – HARESFOOT FAIRY NUFF FOR ERMYN 

Feminine head with pleasing eye and correct ear set. Pleasing body length and level topline. Moved soundly in front, though I would prefer more rear angulation. Again shorter nails would improve feet

1st – CH SECRET STARLIGHT EXPRESS INTO ERMYN 

Happy 10-year-old veteran with a feminine head in proportion. Lovely chest depth, straight lower legs and neat feet. Correct body length, level topline and rib length, with correctly fitting elbows. Moved soundly both front and rear. Best Veteran In Breed, Best Veteran In Show
