I was delighted to be invited by this friendly Association to judge Cardigan Corgis and Best in Show at their lovely venue in Cabus Village Hall where you are always assured of a warm welcome with amazing hospitality, thank you to the Secretary and her committee.

My BIS was Hollingworth’s Highashes Hits The Spot JW. Pretty feminine bitch with a lovely expressive head and well set ears, good angles front and rear, she moved out well and clearly enjoyed everything she was asked to do, presented in excellent condition and was well muscled, congratulations.

My RBIS and BPIS was Alexander’s Coquetmoss Sweet Chestnut. Very handsome young male with lovely masculine head and alert expression, very balanced in his angles and moved out with a confident easy gait, another presented in excellent condition.

BVIS Logie/Braidwood’s Twinan Love Me Do with Albadhu. Very sweet veteran bitch of 9 years, feminine head and alert expression, nicely balanced with her angles front and rear, good forechest and deep chest, moved out with purpose.

BSpB Young’s Ermyn Lionheart. Nicely balanced and presented 2 year old male, masculine head and expression, well set shoulders and good body proportions, moved out steadily.

Smith’s Ancksunamun Host of Goa’uld. 14 months, br point/tri, masculine head with dark eye and large erect ears, would like a more moderate stop and better bite but he had a strong muzzle, large well padded feet with strong bone, well sprung ribs with level, firm top-line, very unsettled and a little anxious on the move but carried his tail well and was presented in lovely condition, RBD & BSpB.

1. Fox’s Gowerston Granville. Blue merle of 3 years, masculine head and expression with balance, large erect ears, medium sized eyes giving a kind expression, better angles throughout than 1, good body proportions, well laid back shoulder and strong loin, well padded feet with good bone, well carried tail, moved steadily, he was well muscled and moved out with a steady gait, BD & RBOB.

Smith’s Ceranda Gower Diamond JW. 3½ year old br/w bitch, feminine head and expression with gentle dark eye and large ears, good muzzle, found her a slightly too bowed in front and her nails could do with some attention, liked her proportions and overall angles, deep chest with neat elbows, a little overweight which affected her movement, presented in excellent coat, RBB.

Beautifully presented br/w bitch of 18 months, very feminine in head and expression, dark eye and well set ears, would like a more typical front, firm and level in top-line, good proportions and angles, excellent tail set and length, lovely feet and bone, she moved out well with good reach and drive, BB & BOB.
