1st and BOB. Whiting’s Glanbueno Tout Seule. 18 month old bitch. Skull slightly domed with clearly defined stop, eyes dark and oval giving correct expression. Would have preferred head carried more proudly. Ears set on low. Neck strong and without dewlap. Shoulders well laid back, body of correct proportions and balance. Strong in the hindquarters Would have liked to have seen tighter feet. Moved well.

1st and BOB Pearson’s Amazing White A Story With A Tail at Amardio (imp NLD). 17 month old bitch. Strong and active with good balance. Head domed, with prominent occiput, foreface lean. Eyes of good shape and colour. Ears set on low with good length. Neck muscular with noticeable dewlap. Shoulders well laid back and body well developed for age, breastbone prominent. Sufficient ground clearance to allow her to move well. Hindquarters were well muscled and she had very good feet. Moved very well to secure BOB over her older kennel mate.

1st Pearson’s Amardio Candle in the Wind JW. Three year old Bitch. Mature, just felt not quite as active on the move as BOB. Well balanced with correct head and expression. Eyes of correct colour and shape, ears set on low. Excellent shoulders, powerful chest, and prominent breastbone. Forelegs well boned and fitting nicely in to crook. Ribs well rounded and sprung. Hindquarters very well-muscled,

1st and Best Puppy Jones’s Stanserens Moaning Myrtle. 11 month old Bitch. Alert and happy young lady. Lovely head of a fair length. Stop well defined, eyes of correct colour, ears long with rounded tip, all helping to give the desired appealing expression. Correct scissor bite. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders, nice straight bone. Topline carried straight and level. Hindquarters still developing as one would expect at this age but moved happily and soundly.

1st and BOB Arden’s Madika Shine On JW. 12 month old bitch, just into Junior. Absolutely loved this young lady. Very well balanced and compact, alert and happy in the ring, showing herself off to advantage. Good length to head , free from wrinkle, stop well defined, correct eye shape and colour giving her a beautiful expression. Ears long and of correct texture. Slightly arched neck of good length. Shoulders well laid back with good straight round bone. She carried her topline well with a particularly powerful short loin. Muscular thigh with hocks well let down. Moved very well on good tight feet.

1st Webster’s Rossut Vizier For Houndscoast. 3 year old Dog. Masculine head, stop well defined and good strength to muzzle. Eyes of good colour and shape. Sufficient length of neck into well laid shoulders, Well sprung ribs and short in the loin, but felt could have carried a little less weight to advantage. Lovely tight feet. Muscular thighs and hocks firm. Tail set on and carried well. Moved well, but not as positive on the move as the BOB.

1st and Best Puppy. Payton’s Hampdach Strawberry Blonde at Marajo. 8 month old shaded red Bitch. Beautiful head, long and conical, eyes of correct colour and shape giving lovely expression. Good length of neck Shoulder blades long and broad. Ribs extend well back but would prefer slightly shorter loin, however, she kept her topline on the move and has yet to mature. Good hindquarters with strength to upper thigh.

1st Jenning’s Melriding True Colours at Jenivon. 12 month old black and tan bitch just into junior. Lovely head with correct balance. Eyes of good colour and shape with ears set on correctly. Muscular neck and clean throat . Shoulders well laid , body moderately long with ribs extended well back. Good Hindquarters with strong upper thigh . Would have preferred slightly better feet. Moved ok.

1st and BOB Jenning’s Marvale Manifesto at Jenivon. 3 year old Black and Tan Dog of lovely balance and proportions. Long conical head, almond eye obliquely set. Ears of correct length and set. Muscular, slightly arched neck into long broad shoulder blades. Good ground clearance. Body well ribbed back with a short strong loin. Powerful hindquarters. Excellent feet. Moved very well to take BOB

2nd Payton’s Hampdach the Trooper. 4 year old dog. Beautiful head and expression with correct balance to head, and eyes of correct colour and shape. Neck was long and muscular and good front assembly, well ribbed but just felt he was slightly longer in the loin than 1 .

1st and Best Puppy Jenning’s Jenivons Secret Wish. 11 month old bitch puppy. Nicely balanced with a good head and expression. Nice well set dark eye. Good clean neck into well set shoulders , forearm short and strong. Body moderately long and well-muscled with correct length of loin. Good hindquarters with upper thigh of good width and muscle. Moved well.

2nd Hudson’s Sharnphilly Tom Thumb With Mutoko .Brindle Dog puppy only just 6 months and a little unsettled on the move. Head of conical shape but still developing in skull. Good front assembly and nice feet. Still as I would expect of a baby , developing in body and strength of loin.

1st Blackshaw’s Llansansior Do You Want Me. 15 month old shaded red bitch. Lovely overall balance. Correct head and expression. Ears set on well and of correct size and shape. Long muscular neck in to a super front assembly with good forechest. Body moderately long and well ribbed with good strong loin. Well-muscled hindquarters with strong upper thigh. Promising youngster.

2nd Jennings Jenivons Spice Bomb. 11 month old shaded red bitch , litter sister to my puppy bitch winner and many of the same remarks apply. Just had to give way to a more mature bitch in this class,

1st Jenning’s Jenivons Starfinch. Very Smart Black and Tan boy just turned 2 years. Lovely balance and height to length ratio with and sufficient ground clearance. Long conical head skull slightly arched. Eyes of good colour and set. Correct scissor bite. Clean neck and throat. Well laid shoulder , good length of rib and strong across the loin keeping a good topline on the move. Lovely rear angulation and muscle giving him good movement.

1st and BOB. Jenning’s Jenivons Miss Marple. 4 year old red bitch. Very typical of the type this kennel is producing. Correct head and desired expression. Excellent forechest and long broad shoulder blades. Ribs extending well back and strength and correct length to loin. Hindquarters strong and broad with correct angulation. Moved very well and won BOB on her maturity and breed type.

2nd Harrison’s Carlita Definitely Maybe ,17 month old red male 4th in Junior. Was unhappy on the table and not at his best today. Hence not easy to assess. Perhaps a little more practice and ringcraft will allow for him to show off his attributes.

1st and Best Puppy Buxton’s Cloudside Xena. 6 month old bitch. Good head and expression, with furnishings developing nicely. Eyes of good colour and set . Correct scissor bite. Muscular neck into a really good front assembly with plenty of sternum. Correct topline with good length of rib. Just feel she needs to drop into her hindquarters as she matures and her muscles develop. Moved very well for one so young.

1st and BOB .Buxton’s Hazelglade Harriet Well balanced bitch of just coming up 2 years Super head and expression with nicely developed beard and eyebrows. Shoulder placement and front is good with correct ground clearance. Body was of correct length , well-muscled back and strong through the loin. Would like her slightly shorter in the hock, but still moved very well to get BOB.

1st Downey’s Tannahill Thalia 2 Year Old Bitch with a super wire coat. Scored over the second in depth of chest. Head of lovely type and expression. Muscular neck into well laid shoulders and good front with well developed sternum. Really good feet . well ribbed back and correct length of loin. Just felt Post graduate winner had the edge on the move to get BOB.

2nd Buxton’s Wildetarn Ado. Bitch just coming up for 2. Pushed 1 very hard many of the same comments apply, had a super head and expression , just felt 1 was more developed in chest and her coat had recently been stripped and a little sparse inn places. But a lovely type of bitch.

A promising class of puppies.

1sta and Best Puppy Dawson’s Stubylee Boom Like That. 7 month old Borzoi Dog Puppy. Beautiful head and expression. Scissor bite. Well-muscled neck , shoulders clean and sloping well . Graceful curve to backline . Thighs long and well angulated in the stifle. Moved well for one so young and with limited space.

2nd Steele’s Threadgold Sunrise. Afghan hound puppy bitch of just 6 months. Another promising youngster beautifully presented. Super head and expression Shoulders well set back with good length of upper arm. Hind angulation equally as pleasing . Puppy coat but developing nicely. Just felt winner more confident on the move.

3rd Dawson’s Stubylee Into The Mystic

Junior (2,0 absent)

1st Worthington’s Abbotsoak Ghost of Magnus. 14 month old Ibizan Hound. Good head and expression , with fine long flat skull. Ears set on correctly and erect, Long straight bone to forelegs. Ribcage long with tucked up waist, Long in second thigh. Moved well on a typical gait.

2nd Barnicott and Pascoe’s Fahook Minack. 16 month old Dachshund – long-haired. Good head but would have liked slightly leaner in the skull. Good front assembly with depth of chest and sternum. Moved well but pulling away from handler so not easy to assess.

Post Graduate (2,1 absent)

1st Bell and Jenning’s Olphae Gladys for Dorinor. Otterhound Bitch just out of Junior. What a lovely character and temperament on this young lady which you could see in her typical head and expression. Strong powerful neck into well laid back clean shoulders. Good topline, well-muscled throughout. In good coat and condition , Moved well. Pushed hard for Best AVNSC.

1st and Best AVNSC Hough’s Secret Agent with Sufayre. 3 year old Hamiltonstovare. Upstanding handsome, well developed dog put down in tip top condition – well muscled throughout. Good head and expression with correct shape and size to muzzle. Good length to the rib and strength through the loin, Well angulated to the rear and very sound on the move helped by his great muscle tone.

2nd Dawson’s Mischran The Sequel To Stubylee. 3 year old Borzoi Dog , Sire of the winner of best puppy. Same lovely type, correct head, and expression . Slightly arched neck in to clean shoulders with clean straight bone , flexible pasterns which gave typical movement. Loin broad and powerful. Presented in beautiful coat. Moved well, but needed more space to see him make the most of himself.

AV Hound Veteran ( 8, 3 absent)

Lovely class of veterans with some hard choices.

1st and Best Veteran. Nash’s Ch Tokaji Moon Over Miami With Mutoko JW ShCEx OSW. 7 year old Basenji Bitch. Very smart, in fabulous coat and condition for a veteran and showing herself off to advantage. Flat and well chiselled head with small, pointed ears set on correctly giving desired expression. Strong neck , well crested into good shoulders and forequarters Short and level in back , Hindquarters strong and muscular. Moved very well,
