1st Atherton’s Calaiscroft Fait Accompli At Brevathos Strong, balanced male Correct head planes and pronounced occiput. Skull to muzzle ratios correct . Scissor bite. Short powerful neck into a good, well-muscled front. Strong and straight in foreleg. Body well proportioned with strength across the loin and a slight tuck up. Good bend of stifle and well-muscled. Moved well.

2nd Bowley’s Gunsyn Superstitious Another nice male , good head and expression with correct planes and evident occiput. Scissor bite. strength to neck and into well laid shoulders. Slightly longer than 1 but still in standard, lovely depth to chest and minimal tuck up. Good bend of stifle and strength through thighs. Just preferred 1 on the move.

Bracco Italian Open (4,2 absent)

1st and BOB Bowley’s Sh Ch Gunsyn Ginsperation Mature dog of 6 years, beautifully balanced. Good head and expression. cheeks lean, pronounced occiput with slight stop, lovely large nose. Ears set on well with good leathers. Short powerful neck in to long well-muscled shoulders, good oval bone and pasterns f correct length ,Chest broad and deep well sprung rib with strength across the loin. Hindquarters well-constructed and carrying muscle tone. Coat and skin good Moved well at an extended trot.

2nd Atherton’s Bracciano Never Again At Brevathos. 2 year old Bitch , slightly smaller framed and not quite as balanced as my winner. Feminine head and expression with all breed characteristics evident. Scissor bite. Good strength to neck, , she was tending to stand a little wider in front than my winner. Correct topline and strength across the loin. hindquarters showed strength with well let down hocks and correct angulation. Preferred first on the move.

German Shorthaired Pointer Puppy(1, 0 absent)

1st and Best Puppy Bailey’s Central Pavey Ark Noble alert young man of 9 months Clean head, sufficiently broad in skull. Eyes medium size giving good expression. ears set high and hanging close to head. Correct length of neck into sloping muscular forequarters and with good bone. Sufficient depth of chest forage, well ribbed back with short loin. Hindquarters broad and lovely muscle tone. Can carry tail slightly high at times and needs to settle in movement but a promising puppy.

German Shorthaired Pointer Special yearling (2.0 absent)

1st BOB and Best in Show Wilkinson’s Zarozinia Carn Tuile Beautiful bitch that took my eye as soon as she moved around the ring. Looks like she could do a full days work in the field put down in super coat and condition. Lovely head and intelligent expression .with a good eye and ears well set . Scissor bite. Muscular neck of good length , sloping muscular forequarters well laid back , Chest deep with correct spring of rib, muscled across the loin giving strength to her topline. . Broad wide hindquarters that were well muscled that showed in her super movement. 

2nd Wilkinson’s Zarozinia Ardessie Nice bitch with a clean cut head but slightly broader in skull then 1. Ears set on well, correct scissor bite. Slightly arched neck in to well laid shoulders, chest deep enough for age , but 1 appeared slightly shorter in the loin. Stifle well bent and moved OK.

 German Shorthaired Pointer Limit ( 2.0 absent)

1st Angus’s Edelmidpoint Native River Through Cazlmerell JW male , well balanced in profile. Clean cut head but would have preferred a slightly darker eye to give the correct expression. Muscular neck of good length and slightly arched. Front assembly good with enough strength of bone without being coarse. Chest deep with well sprung rib. Firm across the loin and held topline on the move. Well-muscled hindquarters helped him to move correctly.

2nd Merritt Sperant Chocolate Cosmos JW Not as mature as the winner . Reasonable head and expression, larger ears but well set on. Scissor bite. Forequarters sloping and muscular. Good depth to chest , firm short back. Stifle well bent but just felt not the width of second thigh of 1. Moved well.

German Shorthaired Pointer Open (4,1 absent)

1st Barnett’s Sh CH Magregor Howl to the Moon Over Tibertitch Most balanced outline in the class, keeping topline on the move. Nice head and eyes with intelligent expression. . Moderate length of neck into well laid shoulders . Feminine in body shape but with correct depth and length to ribbing and short across the loin. Correct rear angulation with good bend of stifle. Moved best in the class, pushed BOB hard for top honours.

2nd Merritt’s Spreant Pamplemoose Head clean cut and well-proportioned to the body giving a good expression. Slightly arched neck into front assembly but just prefer the winner in front. Chest deep with good length of rib but slightly longer in loin. Hindquarters very good and well-muscled , in excellent coat and condition, Moed well

3rd Mc Cafferty’s Thorscrag Hades JW ShCEX OSW

German Wirehaired Pointer Graduate (1,0 absent)

1st and BOB Cuthill’s Caldewriver Kong Quest Nicely balanced young man of 13 months. Very full of himself !. Good head with sufficient breadth of skull . Eyes oval and of correct colour, Ears medium sized and set on well. Strong arched neck with well-fitting skin. Strong bone to forequarters that were sloping and muscular. Nice depth to chest for age, with ribs well sprung. . Hindquarters broad and had good width of second thigh. Good coat and furnishings, Did play his handler up on the move but saw enough of his powerful movement to award him BOB.

German Wirehaired Pointer Open (1,0 absent)

1st Cuthill’s Caldewriver Monkey Business13 month old litter sister to winner of previous class. Lots of the same comment apply but just preferred his head and expression. Well balanced bitch with strong clean neck into good sloping shoulders that were muscular. Strong enough in bone for a bitch. Chest has enough depth for age, and her ribs are well sprung, Firm in the back and kept a good topline on the move. She moved well from powerful hindquarters

German Longhaired Pointer

1st and BOB Thompson’s It Ch, Lux Ch, Ir Sh Ch, Sarscottah Eclipse 3 year old Brown and white bitch in full coat. Muzzle and skull of equal length, well chiselled below the eyes. Good eye colour. Muscular neck of correct length Sufficient breadth and depth to rib cage back straight and firm. Stifles well bent and moved well.

Weimaraner Puppy (3,0 absent)

1st and Best Puppy in Breed and BPIS O’Donoghue’s Hundwith Northern Lights at Weimsmyre Most balanced in the class . Correct length of head with moderate stop, good depth to jaw. Scissor bite. Clean neck of moderate length. well laid shoulder with straight and strong bone to forelegs. Length to heigh the desired 12:10 ratio. with sufficient depth for age and correct for age. , some tuck up. Hindquarters were well angulated muscles developing. Moved very well.

2nd Whitehead’s Gunalt Frozen Glacier at Stridesview beaten by 1 on maturity, head not quite as balanced as of yet as the winner. Scissor bite. clean neck into well laid shoulders , Depth of chest developing and strength across the loin. keeping topline on the move but a little proud of tail. Moved well

3rd Charlish’s Gunalt Gunalt Remeberance Of Harelferg

Weimaraner Special Yearling (1,0 absent)

1st Charlish’s Harelferg Happy Hour Nicely balanced bitch with a good head and expression. Her head was of correct proportions and the occiput was evident. Scissor bite Good front angulation but sometimes handler overstretched her and that became less evident. Well portioned in body with strength to her loin and topline. Well-muscled hindquarters with sufficient angulation. A little reluctant on the move

Weimaraner Limit (2,0 absent)

1st Sayer and Wallwork’s Braefell Briar JW Medium sized bitch with sufficient depth and muscle. Long aristocratic balance head with good eye colour. Scissor bite. Particularly good front assembly that was well muscled. Good depth to chest , sufficient length of loin with moderate tuck up. Hocks well let down . Moved well keeping correct topline.

2nd Janieson’s Greyspirit Keep Me Waiting Powerful male, who I would think is towards top of standard. Good head and expression with correct proportion. strength to muzzle, Front angulation was OK, but elbows could be tighter which showed in his movement coming towards you. Body length to heigh ration good and sufficient depth of chest. Hindquarters were well muscled and with correct angulation. 

Weimaraner Open (6,1 absent)

1st and BOB Whitehead’s Gunalt Back Chat From Stridewiew Medium sized dog with a lovely head and aristocratic expression. Well made front with good bone and feet. Correct height to length ratio and depth to chest. Kept his topline when moving in profile. Well-muscled hindquarters with well-turned stifle that he used to advantage on the move. A very promising dog.

2nd Sayer and Wallwork’s Braefell Blackthorn A tough decision between this and the winner. A nice sized dog with good overall balance and proportion. Head particularly good with aristocratic expression Most of the comment to on 1 apply to this dog , just preferred the first on the move.

3rs Cairn’s Lamarg Silver Showtoff

Large Munsterlander Limit (3,0 absent)

1st and BOB Logie’s Albadhu I’m Addicted to You Lovely young bitch Head in proportion to body and elongated. Skull sufficiently broad. Lovely eye and expression. Strong slightly arched muscular neck. Correct front assembly with sufficient depth of brisket. Firm strong back and correct length to loin which is where she scored over the rest of the class. Good width to hindquarters which were well muscled Moved very well.

2nd Logie’s Albadhu I’m Mad About You More immature than the winner but lots of promise. Another with a lovely head and expression from this kennel Good front and rear assembly, just needs to develop in body to compete with the winner but am sure this will come with age. Moved well.

1st Gorrian and Henry’s CW25 Ir Sh CH Border Reiver with Querdon Portuguese pointer. Correct skull to muzzle ratio , skull broad, stop well defined. Slightly arched neck into well laid, muscular shoulders. Excellent depth to chest with short broad back and well-muscled loin maintaining topline in profile. . Moderate rear angulation with good width of second thigh. Moved well

2nd Gorrian and Henry’s Ir Sh CH Fab Point Tempestade with Querdon 3 year old bitch of a smaller type than 1 Feminine head with good width to skull and defined stop. Correct front and depth to chest. Short coupled with strength across the loin. Rear angulation correct and well-muscled. Just preferred the winner on the move.

1st Mason, Club and Findlay’s Sh Ch OroshazaChukar VW CW18 11 year old Vizla dog in excellent condition for his age. Head of quality with correct skull to muzzle ratio. Strong neck into well laid shoulders, Back was still level and strong in topline which he kept on the move . Moderate angulation to rear . Moved well

2nd Ir Sh Ch Silverkelvin Jupiterf Over Magdala Weimaraner Dog , good head with aristocratic expression , Well angulated front, and rear with good depth to chest and well ribbed. Well-muscled and in good order for his age. Just preferred 1 on the move

2nd Thompson’s Es/CZE/Swiss Ch /Ir Sh Ch Sarscottah Charizma Ir JCh Lux J W/ JNR17 WW 17/18/20/21/23 GLP of 10 years in lovely coat and condition. Head well balanced with correct expression. Good depth to chest and well angulated fore and aft . Very nice bitch just preferred the winner on the move.

1st and Reserve Best Puppy in show Mason .Club and Angus’s Oroshaza Bernard 6 month old Vizla, Beautiful noble head and expression. , Slightly arched neck into well laid shoulder. Good depth to chest and ribbing for one so young. Hindquarters developing well . Moved very well and pushed hard for best puppy in show.

2nd Ciesielski Javal Love is The Drug 11 month old white and orange Italian Spinone. Pronounced occiput and correct zygomatic arches with correct head planes and expression. Very good front assembly which is where she scored over the third place. Bodily developing nicely for age. Coat and presentation good. Moved well
