1st and RBOB McLeod’s Red October at Dunline. Long haired red with black overlay. Skull slightly rounded, well defined stop, lean muzzle. Dark large eye, ears set on high, but not using to advantage. Correct bite. Good length of slightly arched neck. Fine bone to forelegs and shoulders moderate in length. Correct topline and curved underline. Moderate angulation to rear. Carries tail well. Happy on the move, pushed open winner hard for BOB

1st and BOB. McLeod’s Piccolito Macchiato at Dunline Longhaired, correctly marked Black and Tan . Square in outline. Slightly rounded skull ,defined stop, correct eye and expression. Ears set on well and fringed, using them better than graduate winner. Head carried well on slightly arched neck. Very good front with desired shoulder and fine bone to foreleg. Topline sloping correctly from withers to rounded croup. Curved underline. Moderate angulation, well-muscled. Moved well with tail carried correctly More mature than Graduate winner to get BOB

1st and RBOB. Sheldon’s Oozzoo Concept of Truth (TAF) Hairless of cobby type. Good balance and presentation. Correctly balanced head, cheeks clean and chiselled Eyes dark and good shape. Ears large and erect. Clean neck in to well laid shoulders. Medium length to body, chest broad and deep. Well-rounded quarters, level back. Just preferred my BOB on the move.

1st and BOB.Hampson’s Cefndaidi Emilia. Cream Powderpuff of 2 years . Lovely balance, size and type to this young man. Correct balance skull to muzzle. Ears set low and dropped. Clean lean neck in to well laid shoulders , head carried well. Medium length to body, chest of good depth and breadth. Long firm stifles and hocks well let down. Elegant mover.

1st and RBOB. Gunn and Cannon’s Golddragon Bubble Bounce into Zushkhan (Imp Esp) Elegant feminine bitch in lovely coat and condition. Long head, prominent occiput, slight stop. Dark eye giving a lovely expression. Strong neck and good head carriage. Well boned forelegs, level back falling away nicely to stern. Hip bones prominent. Good length from hip to hock, tail set on well and used on the move. Coat in lovely condition showing saddle. Had to give way to BOB on maturity but very promising.

1st and BOB Hughe’s Alishan Sensa Una Donna At Nantmelan Black Bitch, coming up 5 years with maturity and presence. Head long with slight stop and pronounced occiput. Lovely dark eye with low set ears, well laid back. Scored in Forequarters with long sloping shoulders well-set back. Excellent return and length of upper arm. Level topline , falling away to strong hindquarters. Very good turn of stifle and length from hip to hock. Light and springy on the move. Coat of good quality, but preferred presentation of Graduate winner.

1st Bell Thomas’s Amorpapaver Copernicus. Compact dog of 15 months. Slightly domed skull, moderately wide, defined stop. Good eye colour. Sufficient length of neck into good forequarters, shoulders well laid back , good strong round bone. Well sprung rib, level topline kept on the move. Muscular thighs and well bent hocks. Tail carried well on the move. Free striding. 

2nd Murphy’s Bayard Seal of Approval At Rhosyndu JW Well balanced but felt slightly longer in appearance than 1. Good head and expression with correct shape to skull and strength in the muzzle. Slightly arched neck of good length. Shoulders well laid back and correct angulation fore and aft, with good muscle tone to thigh. Moved well

1st and BOB, Bell Thomas’s Amorpapaver Ada Lovelace. Lovely well balanced bitch of 15 months. Appealing head and expression with lovely eye and correct set and shape to ear. Slightly arched neck with little dewlap Very good shoulders with lovely round bone and tight feet. Well sprung rib with topline straight and level and kept on the move. Firm hocks with well bent stifle . Moved very well.

2nd Murphy’s Davricard Picasso at Rhosyndu. 4 year old dog, well balanced Good head free from wrinkle , well defined stop, eyes of correct colour. Scissor bite. Slightly arched neck in to very good front assembly. . Topline straight and level. Well-muscled hindquarters just preferred the bend of stifle of 1. Moved well

1st Cornell’s Braveair Pawsforthought From Bronllys JW. Compact 2 ½ year old Dog. Masculine head of a good length with well defined stop. Good length of neck with slight arch. Strong straight bone to forelegs,but preferred the BOB in front angulation. Topline straight and level short and powerful across the loin. Well-muscled and angulated to the rear. 

2nd Murphy’s Felinoak Gossip At Rhosyndu . 2 year old bitch , not as mature as the winner, but nicely put together. Feminine head and expression. Ears of correct texture and length. Slightly longer in neck than I would of liked, but well laid shoulders and front assembly. Carried topline well , hindquarters muscular and hocks well let down.

1st and BOB Cherriman’s Bastet Granabrazo At Cgerdonski (imp Svk). 21 month old bitch balanced and graceful. Lovely long lean head with narrow skull and deep powerful jaw. Dark intelligent eyes and correct ear set. Well arched neck into correct forequarters. Oval rib with good depth of brisket. Good strength across the loin. Effortless mover. 

2nd Derrikk’s Jansams Cosmopolitan 19 month old bitch. Nicely balanced bitch. Good head with correct proportions, just preferred the expression of the winner. Small, pointed ears set on high as required. Would of preferred slightly more length to the neck but well laid shoulders and very good topline and tuck up. Thighs well developed.

1st Cherriman’s Slovyk De L’Hermitage D’ Eole (Imp Fra) 5 year old male in full coat. Lovely masculine head and expression. Clean muscular well laid shoulders, would have liked slightly more length of neck. Great depth to brisket but preferred the underline of my BOB. Hocks well let down and good second thigh.

1st and Best Puppy Lewis’s Trixhund Stormable. Black and tan, well balanced young man with lovely long lean conical head. Nice eye shape and colour with correct ear set. Well laid shoulder forearm short and strong with reasonable ground clearance. Ribs well back and topline good. Needs to strengthen in the hock to give the required drive from behind.

Strong muscular neck into an excellent front assembly. Moderate in length with reasonable ground clearance. Good strength across the loin. Hindquarters broad and strong with sufficient drive from the rear. Moved well

1st and BOB Smithson’s Silvershadow’s Zelda Ellesar Odi Et Amo. A nicely balanced bitch of 5 years, but carrying too much weight . Head long narrow with moderate width between the ears. Good eye colour , correct length and coat texture ton the ears. Well-muscled neck of correct length. Shoulders well set back and pasterns sloping. However shoulders and arch of the loin are masked somewhat by the extra weight she is carrying, Strong quarters , hocks well let down. Moved OK.

Veteran(6,3Absent) Lovely class of veterans. A pleasure to judge and all a credit to their owners.

1st and Best veteran Lewis’s Trixihund Obsession 9 year old black and tan Dachshund longhaired bitch in excellent condition. Lovely conical shaped head with feminine expression. Well laid shoulders with sufficient ground clearance. Ribs carried well back , good strength across the loin. Carried topline well . Moved well off powerful quarters. 

2nd Cornells’s Felinoak Danny Boy From Bronllys 7 Year old beagle dog that pushed 1 hard. Masculine head of good proportions. Slightly arched neck into well laid shoulders with good bone and feet to the forequarters. Well sprung rib and strength across the loin. Moved well.

1 Whippet Thomas & Prynne’s Swistir Talk of The Town. Beautifully elegant yet powerful whippet. Long lean head with excellent expression. Shoulders well laid back , forearm straight with strong pasterns. Good depth to chest back well-muscled with graceful arch over loin. Strength across the hindquarters Moved very well to win the group

3 Dachshund (Miniature Smooth) Beach’s Beachdax California Gurls. Shaded red Dachshund ( Miniature Smooth haired) Lovely head and expression. Muscular clean neck into an excellent front assembly. Moderately long in body with good ground clearance. Hindquarters broad and strong. Moved well.

4 Norwegian Elkhound Mortimer’s Laakso Julaften 2 ½ year old bitch Powerful with square outline. Wedge shaped head with good expression. Powerful and short in the back with good strength to loin. Powerful hindquarters. Moved well.

Puppy Group

1 Norwegian Elkhound Mortimer’s Laakso Lumi. Very nice young lady of 9 months. Lovely square outline and carrying herself proudly. Well balanced and feminine head with correct expression. Medium length of neck into well laid shoulders with good straight bone. Although still developing she had a strong powerful back with good depth of chest for her age. Strong and powerful across the hindquarters . Close coat of correct texture . Moved very well.

2 Dachshund (Miniature Smooth) Lewis’s Trixhund Aunt Bessie Dachshund - Miniature smooth haired. Correct conical shape to head with good eye and expression. Shoulders well laid,but would have liked ribs carried a little further back to give a little more strength. Strong across the hindquarters and moved well.

3 Whippet Lloyd’s Penwincoed Pumpkin Pie 6 month old baby giving away a lot in maturity. Lots to like about him. Elegant and long lean head, shoulders well laid back and good front assembly. Still developing across the loin. Stifles well let down and sufficient breadth across the thighs for age.
