I was a last minute replacement judge today due to unforeseen circumstances. My best wishes to Pat Pask and her husband. Many thanks to my amazing steward Chris who kept the ring flowing and thank you to all the exhibitors who accepted my placings so sportingly. DACHSHUND Mini Smooth – SY. 1, Small, Marvale Golden Oriole for Devondax JW – Beautiful red bitch, good head plains with nice dark eye and pleasing expression. Long neck and well angulated shoulders, nice length of body, level topline and good rear angulation. Super little mover. PG – 1, Small, Glynlythe’s Heirloom for Devondax JW – Another lovely bitch super expression and dark eyes, and with a good depth of chest and good ribcage, nice length and super rear angulation, Level topline which she held on the move. Good ground clearance. Lots to like. O – 1, Small, Bronia Lucien for Devondax – Lovely male, good length of neck leading into decent shoulder placement and good length of ribbing….great topline, well angulated on the rear. Lovely dark eye with an adorable expression, moved with reach and drive. BOB DACHSHUND Mini Wire – PG. 1, Kilroy, Janocop Sweet Child of Mine – What a stunning boy, lovely dark eye and endearing expression, super ring presence, moved so confidently , super conformation throughout. Level topline, held on the move, just loved him. BOB HPG2 O – 1, Kilroy, Blackvein Rambler at Janocop – Lovely 4 year old bitch with a super head and dark eye, loved her expression. Good ribbing and topline, moved well and with drive. DACHSHUND Mini Long - SY. 1 Baters Donnydax Run the Avenue – Red boy, good head and eye, good length of neck, nice tight elbows, decent front and rear, moves with drive, topline rose slightly on the move today. PG – 1, Westaway, Minard Whispering Angel at Treranch – Beautiful bitch, was a little anxious on the table, neat front assembly, good spring of rib and good length of body, moved out well and with drive. 2, Bater, All for Show- Good head and eyes, decent front, tight elbows, a little fidgety, good rear angulation, topline rises on the move but happy once moving. O – 1, (2) Westaway, Abbilis Maleficent at Trenanch – Lovely red bitch, but she was not happy today. Good front assembly, tight elbows and good ribbing, Moved well. BOB DACHSHUND Smooth Haired – SY, 1, Rycroft, Raajput’s Dancer Divaa With Trisensara JW – Black & Tan bitch , nice head and good earset, dark eye, good length of neck, lovely front assembly, good ribbing and length of body, moved with drive but wasn’t playing ball on the table. PG – 1, Ashby, Raajput’s Canadian Winter with Wakywilks – Black and Tan bitch, nice head, dark eye, good length of neck and good shoulders, good ribbing and length of body and super rear angulation. Moved with purpose and drive and kept her level topline on the move. 2, Parker, Malpaspups Coco at Zorionadax – Red bitch handled with care by a lovely young handler. She has a lovely expression and give an overall nice picture. A little small for size but moved out well. 3, Ashby, Rayol Pumpkin Pie at Jaxinorydax. 4, Parker, Luckytails Skye at Zorionadax JW O – 1, Stark – Ch Adnerbs Won Vision of Gobannium JW OSW – 7 year old red bitch, very feminine with a good strong neck, good shoulder placement, liked her forechest, super ribbing, level topline which she held on the move, super rear, moved with reach and drive, what a mover. BOB/BVIB/VG1 2, Rycroft, Chidax Sahara Sand by Trisensara JW – Lovely red 2 year old bitch, shame she came up again the first place winner, so well put together, lovely head, loved her expression. good length of neck, good shoulder placement and great ribbing. Level topline, held well on the move, lots to like. 3, Rycroft, Jacksondax Hornet Hurrah at Trisensara Jw Schex OSW 4, Ashby, Royal Dallas Cowboys at Jaxinorydax JW DACHSHUND Wire Haired – PG, 1, Pughe, Stanegate Sonja – Beautiful bitch, loved her head, fabulous expression and super dark eye. Good length of neck and great front angulation. Plenty of forechest, good ribbing, Moved with reach and drive holding a super level topline. BP 2, Parker, Vixendax Tornado – Lovely puppy, good eye and expression, needs to develop some more but moved out well. 3, Wills, Kasalane Pietersite 4, Wills, Kasalane Apache’s Tear O – 1, Matthews, Sonham Fire Cracker – Super head and loved his expression, good eye, good length of neck, balanced throughout, good forechest, lovely level topline held on the move. BOB 2, Effer, Greyhayne Hector – Super expression and well put together, not as strong in front as first place. Moved out well. BV/VG3 3, Wills, Kasalane Ostiriato Sea 4, Parker, Vixendax You and Me at Zoriondax DACHSHUND Long Haired – PG – 1,(1) Partridge, Ranglewood Xmas Cracker to Riveroyal – Black and Tan male of 14mths with a lovely expression, super masculine head. Good length of neck and shoulders well placed, good amount of forechest and good ribbing. Moved out well and with drive. BOB Whippet (3)– P, 1, Stephens, Electric Paws Lambada at Jasteal – Fawn brindle bitch with white trim. Appealing expression, deep chest with pleasing outline. Loved her on the move. BP HPG3 2, Howgate – Palmik Raindrop, Fawn brindle bitch, beautiful expression, very endearing, good depth of chest and nice feet, very balanced with a lovely outline. Moved well but first place moved better today. 3, Sharp – Saintharp Can’t Get Enough 4, Prowse – Freehamlet May Zing Grace PG (3) 1, Little – Saintharp Can’t Stop Me Now – Silver Brindle and white bitch With long arched neck with a good length, sweet expression, good depth of chest and nice arch over loin. Nicely muscled and nice tight feet. Moved out well. 2 – Prowse – Freehamlet May Be The One – Fawn male of 9 mths. Nice head and expression, good length of neck and pleasing outline when stacked. Lovely mover. 3, Stephens – Jasteal Goddess of Godrevy 4, Durante – Duranridge Chic Shadow OD (1) 1, Foxwell – Cobyco Capture The Look at Redfoxia JW – Brindle and white male, lovely head and nice eye, good ears and super outline when stacked, nicely arched neck of a good length, deep chest and nice arch over loin. Moved beautifully around the ring. 2, Sharp – Saintharp Can’t Get Enough – Fawn and white male, nicely arched neck and of good length, nice arch over loin and good depth of chest. Nicely muscular giving a pleasing outline. Moved well. 3, Stephens – Jasteal Knight of Kynance 4, Kenyon – Doddridge It wasn’t Me OB 1, Howgate – Tervanty Dragon Song at Palmik JW – Beautiful fawn bitch who is quite eye catching. Correct head and super ears, and a melting expression. Lovely arched neck with a good length, Good depth of chest, good ribbing and correct arch of loin. So graceful on the move. BOB Grp 1 2, Sharp – Chippwhipp Georgie Porgy – Brindle bitch , appealing expression and good outline when stacked. Moved well. Afghan - O _ Bovey, Sitana Infinity Stone at Karianca – Beautiful, loved his head and expression, so graceful on the move and so elegant. Just flowed around the ring. What’s not to like. BOB Grp 3 Deerhound – O – Bye, Kirjojax Yeager – Here’s a hound that could do a day’s work. Beautiful 6 years old bitch in fabulous condition. Lovely gentle expression. Well balanced and great muscle throughout. BOB Basenji- O – Ir Ch/Lux Ch Justartee This is Me JW Cjw25 Be/Ir/NI/Lux/Dt (Vdh) Jch – Smart little bitch of 2 years. Moved like lightning around the ring. Lovely head and expression, small dark eye and correct ear set…Well balanced and high tail with curl. BOB Hamiltonstovare – PG - Adey, The Huntress from Sufayre – Good head and eye, strong neck, good shoulders and depth of chest, well muscled, not so outgoing on the move today. O – 1 -Adey – Abon Sfora Nordwskiej Knieji At Rubeusbay (Imp Pol) Shcex – A hound of substance, super head and strong neck, good front and depth of chest. Good ribbing and good length of loin, overall lovely picture, Moved well. BOB HG4 Harrier – PG – Farrar – Henissy Firefly– 11mth old male who was a fidget, very muscled throughout, good length of neck, good shoulders and ribbing, Fabulous on the move. 2 – Farrar, Henissy Fidget – Litter sister to the winner, my comments are the same just preferred the movement on the brother, O – Farrar – Henissy Firework – Litter brother to the last class, they are all quite similar. All have nice tight feet, all well muscled and definitely fit for function. Super on the move and my surprise of the day. BOB PG4 2 – Farrar – Henissy Fiver – Another litter brother, keeping his handler on her toes. A lovely litter. Beagle – PG – 1 – Breeze ,Parkebreeway Buckle Bunny – Beautiful puppy bitch of 7 mths, so much to like, super head with dark appealing eye, correct ear, good shoulders and ribbing, level topline and lovely outgoing movement, one to watch for the future. BP HPG1 2 – Adey , Boskenna Enchanted at Rubeusbay – Tri coloured bitch just out of puppy. Correct head and ears, lovely dark eye, giving a beautiful expression. Nice outline on the stack, and nice tight padded feet, didn’t move as well as the class winner today. O – 1 (2) – Quantick – Parkebreeway Rumour JW – What a handsome hound full of substance. Nice tight feet and up on his toes. Super head, muzzle and ears, beautiful dark eye. Straight front with good shoulders, level topline. Well muscled throughout with reach and drive movement. BOB HG2 Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit) – O – 1, Fordham, Eisfie Monsieur Oakley – 6 year old male, Nice head, and good shoulders, correct harsh coat, level topline held on the move, was a bit sluggish today on the move though. 2 – Cadmore – Soletrader Sybil Fawlty – What a super pup, lovely and outgoing. Beautiful head, dark eye and appealing expression. Good length of neck, super shoulders, level topline and strong hindquarters. She wasn’t on top form today when moving.
