PUPPY (6,0)

1st LINJOR TYLERS CHOICE (MS L HARVEY-MAJOR), really lovely type and shape on this 9 month old dog. He’s broad in skull with good eye colour and correct set ears. Super muscled neck and excels in angulation fore and aft. Good front with straight forelegs. Decent topline and correct coupling, good width to thigh and nice turn of stifle, moved well around the ring. BP.

2nd SALVATOR’S HOT SUMMER ROSSACRE (MRS V FINDJAN) another nicely shaped puppy of 8 months. Lovely expression and well set on ears, strong neck leading smoothly into topline. Straight forelegs and plenty of heart room, longer coupled than 1st but good width to hindquarters. Moved well. Preferred angles and overall outline of my winner.

3rd TRENDLEWOOD FOR ALL WE KNOW (MR D L & MRS F E M BRADDON)

SPECIAL YEARLING (3,0)

1st JAYBEC WINTER YULE JW (MISS R J & MRS J E MILLS) 14 month old dog and what an impressive outline he has. Really typey head, broad in skull, correct eye shape & colour and well set on ears. He carries a well muscled neck which led smoothly into his shoulders and topline, good angles fore and rear, and in good coat. Plenty of leg and deep through chest. He’s well ribbed, short coupled and well muscled throughout. On the move, he uses lots of drive and covers plenty of ground. Very well handled. BOB.

2nd TRENDLEWOOD HOMETOWN GLORY (MISS J MOODY), 16 month old dog who is strongly built and of good type. Really lovely head and expression with a well muscled neck. Would like a better transition into shoulders but he is well ribbed and short coupled. Super angles in quarters and well let down hocks, moved okay. Preferred movement and shape of 1st.

3rd EASTEW REWRITE THE STARS (MR C & MISS E MCKNEE & EVANS)

POST GRADUATE (5,0)

1st MEADOWLEIGH TIME TO DREAM JW (MR M & MRS A HOBAN) Really lovely quality in this bitch, she’s a lovely shape and very feminine throughout. She’s broad in skull with well set on ears, I’d like her a touch darker in eye colour but they are a nice shape. Her neck blends into her shoulders and she holds a clean topline. Nicely made front, straight forelegs and well barrelled ribs. Super angles fore and enough in rear, well let down hocks, otter like tail and moved with precision and drive. RBOB.

2nd TRENDLEWOOD IT TAKES TWO JW (MR D L & MRS F E M) Another lovey girl, in which I have judged before. She’s compact and a strongly built bitch, who’s broad in skull and carries well set ears. Strong neck and decent fore and rear angles, holding plenty of lung & heart room. Good topline and nicely made croup, super width to thigh, enough stifle, and an otter like tail. Moved cleanly around the ring.

3rd ROSSACRE THE DUKE (MRS V FINDJAN)

OPEN DOG (3,1)

1st ROCHEVALE BEAL JW (MR M FOSTER) liked this yellow dog for his type and overall strongly built appearance. Typey head, broad in skull, well set on ears and nice eye shape. He has a strongly made neck with enough fore and rear angulation, he’s well ribbed and deep through chest which gives him plently of heart and lung room. I’d like a better finish to his topline and a fraction more work in tail, but he is short coupled and shows plenty of width to hindquarters with well let down hocks. Moved with drive and power.

2nd CREMINO CAPABILITY ROSSACRE (MRS V FINDJAN) a yellow dog who is a different style to my winner. Just enough broadness in skull with correct set on ears, he has good shape and colour to eye, but would like a little more work in head. He carries a well muscled neck with straight forelegs and he is deep in chest. Longer in loin than winner, but good width to quarters and enough stifle. Was a little untidy on the move today, preferred my winners construction and shape.

OPEN BITCH (3,1)

1st MEADOWLEIGH TURN BACK TIME a chocolate bitch I’ve judged before and loved for her shape. She’s compact and well boned, broad in skull and has a good stop, I’d like her eyes a fraction tighter. Super muscled neck which blends into shoulders, well made front, and excellent barrelled ribs. She’s short coupled, carries a decent topline, and has good rear angles, I’d like her croup just a little flatter. Excels in movement, clean in action.

2nd TIAJA LOVE IN THE SUN (MRS J A WALLACE) 8 1/2 yellow bitch looking well for her age and who’s head I preferred over winners. Really pretty expression and broad in skull, well set on ears and she holds lovely colour to eye. She has a nicely made neck and front, straight forelegs and deep through chest with good ribbing and she is short coupled. Enough rear angles and width to thigh, otter like tail but just doesn’t have the topline and overall strongly built appearance of winner. She moved soundly.
