POINTERS Puppy(0) Post Graduate(1) 1)Booths Mrs SE - Lundgarth Ticket To Fly JW: Pleasing clean outline on this 19 month old girl who was well muscled throughout. Nice head of good length and stop, lovely expression from her dark eyes, well set on ears. Her clean neck smoothly ran into her good maturing front and straight fore-legs, she presented a very nice picture whilst moving around the ring. Open(2/1) 1)Boultons Mrs AM & Ms LM - Codnorhawk Starlight on Moreoldglen: An eye catching lady who presented a lovely graceful picture both standing and on the move. Feminine head of good length and width, lovely gentle soft expression from her alert eyes and raised quizzical brows, I loved her big nose. Her clean slightly arched neck of good length smoothly ran into her well developed front assembly and straight fore-legs, good depth to her chest and a she had a lovely feel to her bone throughout and her body was in excellent hard condition. She moved with good purpose and stride her movement was smooth and graceful on a very difficult ground, please to award her best of breed. GERMAN WIREHAIRED POINTERS Puppy(2/2) Post Graduate(2) 1)Cox Mr D - Ijildez Vom Holstef At Ovetil: Lovely balanced head pleasing muzzle, well set on ears, strong clean neck which smoothly ran into her front assembly and straight fore-legs. Good depth of chest, she was well muscled throughout, excellent feet, moved well and smoothly with a nice stride pleased to give her Best of breed. 2)Bowman’s Mrs D & Mr JP - Kelly Star At Sharrale: 17 month old girl who was really enjoying herself too much and was making it very hard for her mum and for me to judge her properly, but from viewing her she had a very pleasing balanced head, good length to her neck, nice body with depth to chest firm top line, once the owner sorts her out I think she will have a lot of fun days, good luck. Open(1/1) GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTER Puppy(1/1) Post Graduate(3/1) 1)Hjert & Thompson Miss A & Mr S - Cornibus Mulberry: Two very nice medium sized dogs were presented in this class who were mother and daughter like both of the handlers. Both of the dogs had lovely heads giving soft expressions from their eyes and well set on high ears. Muscular necks of good length smoothly ran into their pleasing front assemblies and straight fore-legs, both bodies were in good firm muscular condition with ribs well sprung and good width to there loins. I preferred the outline of my second place but my winners movement was more smoother and correct, particularly from the rear and this won her the class and best of breed over a very nice girl in the next class. I just want to add a note about the handler, this was the young handlers very first show and she is six years old and all credit to her she did a great job, she stayed attentive and listened to me throughout. She thoroughly deserved to win her class and and Best of Breed. I wish you all the luck for your future in handling. 2) Hjert & Thompson Miss A & Mr S - Cornibus Tinkerbell See critique above Open(1) 1)Merritt Miss LE - Sperant Chocolate Cosmos JW: On the stand this girl of almost 3 years old created a lovely balanced picture, she had a super noble looking head of good length and correct ear length, expressive eyes, clean neck, strong top line and a good spring to her ribs. She was not as muscled or as firm as my Best of Breed and she was not as positive in her movement which today cost her top honours, but she is still a very nice dog. LABRADOR RETRIEVER Puppy(0) Post Graduate(3/2) 1)Brambles Mrs JHA - Shaymiloney Saucy Olive JW: Very pleasing head with good broadness and a good muzzle, lovely expressive eyes of nice colour and size,I liked her big black nose, correct ear set. Good reach of her clean strong neck led smoothly into her front assembly and straight fore-legs, excellent top line, good body throughout and tail-set, moved the best of all labradors presented today. She was straight and true in her movement when viewed from all angles, pleased to give her Best of Breed. Open(3/1) 1)Parkinson Mr M - Burnthorn Box Office: Eight year-old young lady who had a lovely balanced head giving a soft feminine gentle expression from her correct eyes of good colour, excellent feel to her bone throughout, she had good confirmation fore & aft, not quite the top-line of my best of breed and she moved steadily. 2)Davis Miss ZR - Rochevale Palm Reader JW: Another with a lovely balanced head and expressive eyes of good colour, strong neck which cleanly ran into her front assembly, good top-line and she moved okay, it was a shame that she was more interested in her food than doing what was being asked of her. ENGLISH SETTER Puppy(0) Post Graduate(4/1) 1)McDowell Mr A & Mrs S - Byedales Agatha Christie: I was presented with a lovely trio of setters in this class and today it headed by a very nice girl of nearly 18 months. Feminine head of good length with a pleasing muzzle, low set ears, oval eyes of good colour, clean muscular neck of good length ran smoothly into her pleasing front assembly, body of good length, nice spring to her ribs, pleasing hind quarters, she was presented in lovely coat and condition and moved okay. 2)Stephenson Mrs J - Bondgate Midnight Drama: 13 month old boy who was certainly enjoying himself today, I liked his masculine outline when he stood still, lovely lean head and dark eye of correct oval shape. Super feel to his bone throughout from his lovely body, he was presented in super coat & condition for his age, the more he moved the better and more settled he got, time is on his side so he should settle down as he is definitely worth it. 3)Kemp-Taylor Mrs HJ - Quensha’s Strawberry Swing Open(3/1) 1) Stephenson Mrs J - Mariglen Wave Dancer For Bondgate JW: Lovely four year-old girl that took my eye when she entered the ring, she had a super feminine head with dark expressive oval eyes and raised brows, good low set ears. Her clean neck of good length led smoothly into her very nice front assembly and straight fore-legs, pleasing depth to her chest and spring to her rib, she was presented in lovely bloom. There was a good feel of her muscle throughout and she moved with a graceful elegance when viewed from all angles pleased to award her best of breed. 2) McDowell Mr A & Mrs S - Byedales Agatha Christie: Winner of previous classi WEIMARANER Puppy(0) Post Graduate(0) Open(1) 1)Brown Mrs S - Enjager Elegance For Brownbank JW: I only had the one entry here today and boy what a cracker she was, I just loved her. She presented a very eye catching balanced picture of strength, elegance & stamina, I was delighted to see her win a super Gundog group then BIS, it made my day. Her head was of good length with depth to her muzzle and well set high ears of good length. Pleasing kind expression from her round eyes of correct colour. She had good length to her clean neck which smoothly ran into her super front assembly and lay back of shoulder, good depth to her chest and spring to her ribs. Pleasing level top line, strong loin, she was well muscled and had a good feel to her bone throughout her super body and had excellent hindquarters. She moved with purpose and elegant ease with a good lengthy stride when viewed from all angles. I wish you all the very best for this top draw young ladies exciting future. HUNGARIAN VIZSLA Puppy(0) Post Graduate(1) 1) Brown Mrs S -Russetmantle Lustre: very smart young lady who presented a nice overall shape of medium size. She had a lovely head with a good squareness to her muzzle, pleasing oval shaped eyes that gave her an intelligent expression. Muscular clean neck of good length smoothly ran into her nice front assembly & straight fore-legs, good feel to her body throughout with a level back and pleasing depth to her chest, moved okay. Open(2/1) 1)Hardcastle & Bradley Mr DJ & Ms EM - Castledogley Firenze JW: Lovely 4 1/2 year-old girl with an eye catching stylish outline, I really liked her lovely balanced head of good length and expression from her oval eyes of good colour, good squareness to her muzzle, pleasing low set V shaped ears of correct length. Her clean strong arched neck of good length smoothly went into her excellent front assembly and straight fore-legs & super feet. Good body showing strength throughout and in her croup, depth to her chest and spring to her rib and she felt in good hard muscular condition throughout. Lovely elegant sound mover holding her top-line as she went around, she was handled with great gentleness to get the best out of her, I was delighted to award her best of breed.
