Bedlington Terrier

P. 1st Kinnuva Plakwaaier Marble At Dukeswell. Delightful liver baby. Just 6 months with everything in the right place for her tender age. Lovely shape keeping correct topline both on the stack and on the move. Good head shape. Small, correct eye shape and colour tones with coat colour. Moderate in neck. Balanced all through and moved very well in all directions. Pleasing coat. BP. Shows much promise.

. 1st Davleigh Four Leaf. Liked this female for her good shape and pleasing size. Head is narrow with strength all through but not compromising her femininity. Eye of good shape, dark and expressive. Good conformation. Correct coat for texture and colour. Moved well from profile, just a shade close moving away. Well presented.

2nd Rhicullen Blue Knight. Very good blue male. Not quite the shape of 1st on the stack. Excellent head for shape, strength and depth. Excellent reach of neck leading to a correct front. Good coat for texture. Moved well from profile.

PG. 1st Dukeswell Pepper Dash. Good for size and shapely outline. Pleasing head. Correct eye. Well set ears of correct thin texture. Moderate neck. Balanced angles. Good topline showing slight rise over muscular loins and good tuck-up. Good tail set. Even colour. Moved very well in all directions.

L. 1st Woolytop What’s It All About. Ultra-feminine and liked her overall shaply outline. Good head and eye with colour toning with coat colour. Well set, thin ears. Muscular neck of medium length. Good front and rear. Moved out well with typical gait. Lovely coat for colour and texture. 

2nd Tunman Apple Be Lucky For Pocoblu. Close-up in many ways, particularly for size and femininity. Excellent head, sound conformation holding a correct topline at all times. Think she needs a bit more to mature and finish. Moved well from profile. Lovely coat for ‘linty’ texture and well presented.

3rd Ratswell Bring Me Sunshine. 

OD. 1st Ch. Woolytop The Phezantplukka. A real eye-catching dog that is difficult to look past. Attractive coat colour, good texture and presented to the minute. Super head shape, narrow with strength to shapely skull and muzzle. Eye and pigment tones well with coat colour. Good front angles with moderate bone and stands on correct hare feet. Flat ribbing. Muscular loins but could have a touch more rise here to give his topline a bit more shape. Excellent rear, moderately angled. Correct tail set. Moved very well out and back, impressive from profile. Not surprised to later discover he carries his title. Worthy BOB in a pleasing entry.

2nd Bisbee Bulldozer With Tessarion. Slightly smaller all through but still retains his masculinity. Excellent overall shape with pleasing head and conformation. Presented well with an even colour. Just could settle a smidge out and back but looks good from profile.

3rd Jobanker Rocky Road.

OB. 1st Ch. Woolytop Leading Lady. Mature female that presents an excellent outline on the stack. Love her size and feminine charms. Excellent head shape. Dark eye. Thin, well set-on ears. Correct front. Excellent topline showing slight rise over loins. Flat ribs and depth to brisket. Good angles. Pleasing on the move. Super coat for texture and colour. Just tending to ‘crab’ a bit out and back but ok from profile. It was good to discover after judging that I have awarded her high honours some time ago, pleased to see she now carries her title.

2nd Mickleview After Midnight By Tessarion. Feminine in outlook and pleasing for shape and colour. Narrow, shapely head. Dark eye and strong pigment. Good ear set and thin texture. Medium neck. Balanced all through. Stands good hare feet. Moved well.

V. 1st Ch. Woolytop The Werryman. Another I have done well in the past and now at 10 years still looks in great form and coat. Lovely shape to both head and body with correct topline, showing slight rise over loins and tuck-up to underline. Holds his shape well on the move, still sound in all directions. Immaculate coat of excellent ‘linty’ texture and colour. Pushed his kennel mate all the way in the challenge but ultimately, had to bow the knee to youth. Res BOB.

AV Open. 1st Casahasabi Lick Of Paint. Pleasing Norwich for size, outline and substance of frame. Good wedge-shaped head. Dark, expressive eye. Good to go over on the table. Harsh, well-prepared coat. Moved well, sound and with conviction.

2nd Foxeaux China Girl. Lovely Lancashire Heeler that I have previously awarded a CC. She is looking even better just a few months on with added maturity. Lovely shape and size. I obviously appreciate her sound conformation and proportions. Attentive to handler and moved well in all directions.

3rd Sh Ch Suelynda Let Me Be The One. Clumber Spaniel.

BPIS: I was pleased so many BP stayed for the final. A good selection to chose from with many quality exhibits here, many showing great promise of things to come. From a pleasing shortlist which included the Clumber, ETT, and Norwich I chose for the top spot the SCWT, Silkcroft Play On Repeat. A really exciting prospect. Totally fills the eye with his excellent outline, conformation and good colour. He moved out well, full of personality and fire, As always from this kennel, presented in immaculate form. Should have an exciting future. Reserve BPIS was the Skye Terrier, Verumamicus Lord Falcor of Brakemill. Another exciting pup and one that I awarded BPIS at a Club show recently. He is maturing very well and looked the part today, particularly on the stack where he displays the breed required ‘3 L’s’ Long, low and level. Masculine and full of breed type. Uses his well set ears to full advantage. Presented in super coat and condition. Sound on the move with low carried tail. Should easily gain his title. BPIS 3. Greeneline Forest of Copperfield. A feminine but substantially built Bullmastiff female. So much appeal at this stage. Her square head is coming along well, balanced with complimentary width of muzzle. High set ears framing as a piece. Strong neck. Moderate front but can drop at smidge at the rear. Excellent mover. Impressive both on the stack and on the move. Another that should have a great future upon maturity. BPIS 4. Pacolito Notorious. Parson Russell Terrier. Excellent female whose ideal size, function and body proportions really appeal. Correct wedge head, flat skull and minimum stop. Excellent neck. Body easily spanned. Balanced angles allowing an even sound gait. Pushing all the way for a higher placing. Loved her!
