Lovely shape and outline, square and compact. Square skull with a nice muzzle and large, expressive eyes. Moving well and retaining her shape.

A most delightful puppy, lovely head, with good muzzle and slight dome to skull, well set ears, medium length of neck, lovely topline and high set tail. Moved with great confidence.

Sturdy, square and strong, but still feminine overall and nicely balanced. She has a good head with sufficient width of skull, a good muzzle and underjaw. Medium length neck. Level topline that she retains on the move. She moves very soundly covering the ground with ease.

2nd 279 – Minto’s Kenzduo American Pie for Tourmabull - Bulldog. 

Really liked her head which has no exaggeration, with well set ears, dark eyes. Good front assembly. Moved with real purpose and drive.

Compact, and well balanced. Liked her head, with flat skull and dark, oval shaped eyes. Small and high set ears. Short neck. Very good topline, high set tail. Moved with effortless action.

2nd – Bawden & Browns Ch Khanate Gin Fizz ShCM VW – Miniature Schnauzer. 

14yrs and in excellent sturdy condition. Strong head with medium stop. Dark and oval eyes. Very good topline. High set and well used tail. A little sluggish on the move in the heat, but he is sound and balanced.

2nd 224 – Caldwell’s Hillpark Painted Lady for Cerysan – Welsh Springer Spaniel 

Sound and well built, good outline typical head and ears. Moved soundly with effortless drive and covering the ground with ease.

Sound and well built, feminine. Good head and correctly set ears, good reach of neck, well laid shoulders. Level topline. Well set and carried tail. Moved with precision and drive.

3rd 236 – Williams’ Nyliram The Alibi for Trebettyn JW – Welsh Springer Spaniel

UTILITY GROUP

Both adult and puppy groups were a real pleasure to judge, so much quality on show.

G1 – 354 Ch Penbro Carbon Copy JW, Miniature Schnauzer.

 A real star who immediately commanded attention. He presents a sturdy, robust and square outline , combined with considerable style and quality. Strong, well-proportioned head, keen expression, dark oval eyes and neat V-shaped ears. Excellent neck and shoulders, deep body, firm straight back and short, well-developed loin. Harsh coat presented to perfection. He moved freely and vigorously, with excellent reach and driving power while maintaining that firm, level topline. A thoroughly typical Miniature Schnauzer who could not be denied the Group.

G2 – 402 Waterley Blanche Et Noire, Tibetan Terrier. 

A beautiful and eye-catching and feminine example of the breed. Sturdy and compact, she's square in outline, with no exaggeration. Lovely head of correct proportions, dark expressive eyes, excellent pigmentation and a resolute expression. Strong neck flowing into well-placed shoulders, sufficient depth and spring of rib, short powerful loin and a beautifully balanced rear her tail was correctly set and carried. On the move, she was smooth and effortless movement, with excellent reach and powerful drive.

G3 – 290 Sophtspot Whirlwind JW, Dalmatian. 

An elegant and athletic black-spotted bitch, balanced and symmetrical in outline and entirely free from and coarseness. Flat skull, dark eyes and a most appealing expression. Nicely arched neck, well-laid shoulders, deep capacious chest, strong level back and well-muscled hindquarters. Pure white with clearly defined spotting added to her typical outline. She excelled on the move, displaying the smooth, powerful and rhythmic action, long stride and excellent reach and drive expected of a carriage dog. Sound, stylish and clearly capable of great endurance.

G4 – 418 Cracker of Yulyeong (Imp Kor), Korean Jindo. 

A dignified and impressive male. He is balanced, strong of medium-size. Well muscled and agile, with a triangular head, small obliquely set dark eyes and thick, perfectly erect ears, giving a keen and alert expression. Strong neck, firm level back and powerful hindquarters. Tight, cat-like feet and a high-set, profusely feathered tail carried correctly over the back. Moved with vigorous action and moderate strides, retaining a firm topline throughout.

UTILITY PUPPY GROUP

Another exceptionally strong group containing a number of exciting prospects for the future.

PG1 – 403 Blue Blood Ambassador Way to Rock with Waterley (Imp Svk) NAF TAF, Tibetan Terrier. 

A most promising puppy who already displaying excellent breed type. Sturdy, balanced and square, with a well-proportioned head, dark expressive eyes and a good expression. Strong neck flowing into well-laid shoulders, his body is developing well, level topline and well-angulated hindquarters with low-set hocks. Correct large, round feet and a well-set tail carried correctly. On the move, he is most appealing smooth and effortless with great reach in front and powerful drive from his hindquarters.

PG2 – 350 Risepark Shining Star, Miniature Schnauzer. 

Very smart and stylish, sturdily constructed and square. Sufficiently strong in head, with a keen expression, dark oval eyes and lovely neat ears. Slightly arched neck, well-laid shoulders, straight forelegs and a compact body with a firm back and short loin. She moved freely and vigorously, with balanced reach and drive and maintained her topline well.

PG3 – 377 Roopec Oh Emm Gee (NBT), Schipperke. 

Small, cobby and active, with a typical foxy expression . Attractive broad, flat skull, bright oval eyes and well-set, stiffly erect ears. Strong neck, straight forelegs, deep brisket and a short, firm back. Dense coat. Moving true fore and aft with the correct short, brisk stride and maintained her shape throughout.

PG4 – 263 Aprika Hollywood Dream, Boston Terrier.

A charming puppy, feminine, compact and nicely balanced overall. Presenting a characteristic square outline. Pleasing head, flat skull, dark round eyes and small, well-carried ears, producing an alert and intelligent expression. Deep chest, short back. She moved easily and gracefully, straight in both directions and with pleasing rhythm and carriage.
