Sincere thank you, to Hyde and District C.S. for the kind invitation to judge. It was a pleasure to complete this appointment at a friendly, well-organized show. My gratitude to the exhibitors who supported the show and myself with their entries. I appreciated the sportsmanship throughout the day and accepted my decisions.

Puppy

1st 487 Ms W Gordon. Hawkfield Black Comedy, 11 month old bitch. Good developing chiseled head and skull in proportion. Well defined stop, kind dark eye, tight rims correct shape. Thin leather ears, pointed at tip. Good bite. Good length of neck, going into sloping shoulders and well laid back. Well sprung ribs. Hindquarters well-muscled, good turn of stifle, hocks well let down. Good tight feet. Good length of tail and used it well. Moved really well, covering ground. Coat correct texture and length in good condition. BP pleased to see take GPG3

2. 492 Miss Oddie. Sharnphilly Euphoria for Riowood , 8 month old bitch. Good head and skull, correct tight eye, correct bite. Slightly arched neck and good lay of shoulder. Pleasing outline shape going into defined hindquarters. Good length of tail. Coat correct texture. Moved well.

2nd 486 Ms W Gordon Hawkfield Bewitched B Correct head shape, good stop. Nice dark eye of correct shape, well placed and tight rimmed. Good length of neck going into fit body shape. Preferred on the day chest depth of first place. Tight feet gaited well. 

Limit

1st 493 Mrs L Trueman Millpoint Bamburgh Boy, 2 ½ Yr old male of good size. Head correct, stop good well-defined nose and eye dark. Well placed thin leather ears, neck slightly arched. Shoulders sloping well laid back. Good width of chest, well sprung ribs, leading to good hind quarters. Hocks well let down. Tail carriage good, carried level with back. Used driving action covering ground with ease. Coat correct texture. BOB pleased to see him gain GG3

1st 484 Ms W Gordon Davigdor Flanders Field 4yr old male. Head shape correct, well defined, correct eye colour and shape. Length of arched neck onto good lay of shoulder and spring of rib. Held topline with drive on the move from defined hindquarters. correct length of tail and carried well. Moved well. 

2nd 488 Mrs J Harrison. Millpoint Webley (Re IMP) 2 ½ year old mature dog, nice head and kind correct eye. Arched neck correct shoulders, length of back and spring of rib good. Good hindquarters and tail carriage. Not hundred per cent happy today due to noise in venue. I am sure different day/ different venue would portray a different impression. Much to like.

Puppy

1st 498 Mrs V Nelson Cadwst Eternal Ember 6 month old bitch, a happy girl at her first show. Well balanced baby with no coarseness. Broad head skull,, eye shape correct and dark eye and nose. Good length of neck, lay of shoulder correct top line. Tail well set and carriage good. Sufficient spring of rib. Nice bone with tight feet of correct shape. Coat furnishings good and correct texture. Pleased to see her go GPG4 in a strong line up. Has the makings of a bright future. 

2nd 504 Mr M Pietrykowki It Takes Two Anachia Box Wondertemple(Imp Pol) 9 month old dog, good head, kind eye, shape and colour. Good body shape with sufficient spring of rib. Level top line , short coupled. Moved well,, very happy today showing well for his handler. 

Limit

1st 502 Miss J Phillips Shebelta Sweet Soul Music JW 4 year old male, Correct head shape no coarseness. Eyes dark, well set apart. Moderate size ears, set well. Good length of muscular neck. Forequarters good bone, shoulders well laid back. Balanced body, deep ribs, well sprung, level top line. Good line good stifle and well let down hocks. Round cat like tight feet. Tail set correct and carried well. Well gaited and with drive.

2nd 499 Mrs V Nelson Cadwst Song of Spring JW Broad head, no coarseness, good dark eye correct shape and position.Ears set level with eye. Good bite. Neck length, clean and muscular. Forequarters good. Balanced body, deep well sprung ribs, level topline leading into good hindquarters. Correct feet. Tailset good carried well. Good movement straight and true. Good texture of coat. On day preferred one, but sure they swop places on occasions.

1st 495 Miss J & Mr S Liggens and Hodges. Silver Passion Glam Fashion at Nunsbrook JW (Imp Deu). 4 half yr old male who caught my eye. Good head no coarseness, broad and correct. Tight rimmed dark eye. Ears well placed and correct. Strong jaw line. Good length of neck, muscular. forequarters correct with good bone, elbows close fitting. Short coupled body, deep chest and good spring of rib. Strong hindquarters, good stifle and well laid down hocks. Moved sound and true, covering ground with drive. Round cat like feet. Tail set and length good carried level with back. Coat of correct texture and well furnished. Very happy male that showed well for his handler.

506 Mrs C A House Gleadsbury Mad about the Boy JW  22 month male, well balanced with good angulation front and rear. Good bone and tight feet. Good depth of chest and well sprung rib. Good head structure, eye placement, shape and colour. Chiselled correctly. Tail carriage carried well. Furnishings ample and correct texture. Moved freely and true. BOB

American Cocker Spaniel: 3/3

Puppy

1st 507 Miss C Beet Americlass Americano with thistlefinch. Bitch 6 months at first show I understand. Black/ Tan good markings. Head and skull good ratios, tip of nose to base of skull. Eyes slightly almond shaped, dark with tight rims. Ear set well on head , fine leather, well clothed in silky hair. Good dentition. Correct length of neck , slightly arched. Good lay of shoulder, spring of rib. Back sloping evenly down from withers to set of tail which was carried well. Moved really well with drive. Promising youngster. BP

2nd 508 Mrs G and Miss B Clay and Dummett. Americlass Macchiatio with Almondsbury NAF, 6 month litter sister to one above. Good head structure, feminine look. Dark eyes almond shape with tight rims. Good ear placement and length. Slight arched neck of good length. Good shoulder lay and spring of rib, slightly sloping topline from withers to correct tailset, carried well. Moved well but not as together as one on the day. Another promising pup , Im sure going forward they will compete for placements, but today 1st place just had the edge.

1st 509 Mrs C Fryer Dreamcast Elysium at Carolco, 2 year old black and white bitch whom I admired ring side and she did not disappoint. Well balanced throughout with refined head, good depth of muzzle and dark expressive well shaped eye. Well set ears and carriage with appropriate feathering and leather. Good length of neck flowed into firm topline. Well laid shoulders. Good bone. Compact feet. Body good proportion with well sprung rib and good forechest. Strong hindquarters, good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Beautifully presented, coat of correct texture and in good condition. Moved freely and soundly, with correct reach and drive from the rear. Maintained correct topline, which completed the overall picture. Pleased to award her BOB.

1st 512 Mr P and Mrs M Davies Annaside Wish Upon a Star Black bitch of 11 months. Balanced girl , typical breed type. Good head, depth of muzzle and correct ear set , well furnished leather correct length. Kind dark eye correct shape. Good length of nexk, leading to well placed shoulders and level topline. Depth of chest well sprung ribs. Correct feet compact . Used hindquarters well, good angulation, allowing good reach and drive. Presented in very good condition with ample coat and feathering. BP

2nd 530 Mrs P Thomas Crincoed Higher Love 11 month old roan bitch. Good head, no coarseness, correct dark eye, with tight rims. Topline good. Tailset and carriage good. Merry nature of breed, moved well holding topline. 

Junior

1st 511 Mr P and Mrs M Davies Annaside Swing on a Star. 13 month old bitch, black and tan. Good head with correct proportions, ear set and length good. Correct furnishings . Lrnght of nexk, leading into well placed shoulder; Level topline, good tail set and carriage. Nice spring of rib and depth of chest. Moved well. 

Limit 

1st 510 Mr A and Mrs R Bradbury and Mather. Kyna Crystal Clear. 3 yr old Blue roan presented in beautiful condition. Head correct , well defined, cleanly chiseled, no coarseness. Pronounced stop, kind intelligent expression. Dark eye with tight rims. Ears correct length and lay , well furnished lying close to head. Strong nexk into well laid shoulders. Level topline with short strong loin. Deep chest , well sprung ribs and moderate length of back. Good bone and tight feet. Tail set good carried well, constantly moving typical merry action. Movement free ground covering with good reach and drive. Presnted very well in good coat and presentation. 

2nd 514 Mr P and Mrs M Davies Manchela Little Mermaid of Annaside JW 2yr old roan bitch. Head in proportion . good depth of muzzle. Correct dark eye and shape. Good length of nexk leading into well placed shoulders. Good topline and tail set, depth of chest and spring of rib. Moved sound and true with reach and drive, maintain that merry characteristic of the breed.

521 Miss L Norris. Joaldy Mr Happy At Araranth ShCEx Attractive 4 yr old male, that caught my eye on entering the ring, he did not disappoint. Good overall balance and typical breed type. Well proportioned head, clean finish, moderate stop and dark correct shape eye, giving that soft expression.. True black coat of good texture and condition. Presented beautifully. Strong neck flowing into well laid shoulders and level top line. Good depth of chest and well sprung ribcage. Correct bone. good tight feet. Hindquarters, well muscled, and with good angulation, allowing sound effortless movement. Good reach and drive. Merry, action, and temperament. Well presented without exaggeration, a pleasing dog displaying all the traits of the breed. BOB , Happy to see him continue and obtain GG4 for his owner.

Puppy

1st 540 Ms K and Miss R Stead Bondgate Miss Melodramatic of Settavista. Attractive 10 month old Blue belton bitch of pleasing type with much to admire. Femine head of good lenth well dedined stop and kind intelligent expression. Dark eyes, well set ears carried close to head. Good reach of next flowing into well laid shoulders. Body still developing as expected for age, but did not detract from good depth of chest and spring of rib. Level topline held on the move. Well angulated quarters provided balanced outline. Correct bone for seze, neat feet. Very happy personality on the move, using tail to full advantage and completing the picture. Good reach and drive. Graceful example of the breed, shoud continue to strengthen and develop with time. Promising future. BP

2nd Mr D and Mrs J Howarth Samelen Enchanto at Moorbrook 9 month old orange belton dog, good head and stop. Well placed, good length ear and leather. Dark correct eye. Developing wekk, good chest and spring of rib. Held topline on the move. Good tail set and carriage. Furnishings of correct texture. Should develop more with maturity. 

Junior

1st 537 Mr A and Mrs S McDowell Byedales Inspector Clueso. 15 month old Tri dog. Good head shape, muzzle and stop. Correct eye dark and tight rims. Good length of neck leading to good topline, depth of chest and spring of rib. Good angulation rear and tail set and carriage. Not 100% happy today on examination due to noisey hall, but settled on move. Well furnished of correct texture. Well presented. 

2nd 540 Repeat of Puppy class.

Limit

1st 541 Ms K and Mrss R Stead Ravensett Illusionist of Settavista. Elegant 2yr old blue belton male, good head with well defined stop. Eyes correct, dark and tight rimmed. Ears moderate length, folded close to cheek, well covered silky hair. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Chest deep, good spring of rib. Good hindquarters , stifles good, well let down hocks. Feet padded , tight. Tail set of correct length, coat length good. Presented and moved well with reach and drive. Silky coat well feathered. BOB 

2nd 538 Mr D J Smith Esq Bournehouse Secret Sunset of Meadowrush. Nearly 8 year old Orange belton dog. Good head and eye correct. Length of neck, good topline leading to good tail set and carriage. Didn’t move so well on the day, but provided the correct movement for breed when stride seen. Well furnished coat , correct texture.

2nd 539 Mr D J Smith Esq Lara from Valjevo Green Fields of Meadowrush (Imp Srb) 3yr old bitch, different in looks , working type. Tri colour. Good head, kind eye good ear set. Would have preferred slightly less weight to show her off more. Moved well.
