TAY VALLEY GUNDOG ASSOCIATION OPEN SHOW 11 OCTOBER 2026
It was a great honour to be invited to judge BIS (and Pointers as a replacement judge) at Tay Valley Gundog Association 50 Anniversary show. As their Hon Life President having been involved with the Association since the 1970’s. I was very touched when the Committee asked me to be involved in this way on this special occasion at a very well run and enjoyable show.

1. Smith’s SH CH PEARKIM POKEMON AT LUANSHYA JW VW ( Spaniel Cocker) I have judged this boy over the years and at nine and a half years old he is a credit to his owner and truly belies his years. He has everything I look for in a Cocker Spaniel and is full of breed type, presents a very balanced outline , super head with soft expression, straight front with strong bone, super shoulder assembly from clean muscular neck, compact body , depth of chest and well ribbed, strong quarters with well bent stifle and short hock and he moves so true with such drive and animation with tail wagging all the way. A true “ merry” Cocker!
