Thank you to the show committee for inviting me to Judge. Judges were so well looked after with a warm welcome and a fabulous lunch. Thank you to my stewards. A great show atmosphere and some lovely dogs to judge made this a really enjoyable day.

1ST 111 - Moontorn Chasing The Dream JW (Miss A Bellamy) An eye catching girl who shows herself with such confidence. Well developed, medium sized bitch with good bone. She has a pretty head, without accentuation, nicely proportioned and moulded. Medium eyes with a bright, intelligent expression. Her neck is of good length, chest deep and body well ribbed. She has well-boned, straight forelegs and tightly arched toes and muscular hindquarters with good angulation. She maintains topline throughout, exhibiting a lovely flowing gait. Her black coat was of good texture and beautifully presented. It was a pleasure to award her BOB.

2ND 121 - Flatcharm Mr Potato Head (Mrs J A & Mr S Woodhams)

Nice young dog with good strong bone throughout and muscular body. Well-moulded masculine head that is set well in his neck that runs well into his back. Deep chest, well defined brisket and body well ribbed. Strong straight forelegs and muscular hindquarters. He is fabulous on the move with good reach and strong driving action from the rear. Black coat was correct texture, furnishings developing and beautifully presented.

An attractive balanced bitch with excellent breed type. Feminine head with medium dark brown eyes, small well-set ears and a gentle, intelligent expression. Good length of neck flowing into firm topline maintained both standing and on the move. Well boned straight forelegs and strong hindquarters with well-let-down hocks. Body well developed. Flowing movement with good reach and drive. Lovely coat that was excellently presented.

2ND 114 - Diamante Blu Regina Della Pace to Hameldowntor JW Sgwc (Miss A Kiddell)

Nicely balanced, proportioned bitch with feminine well moulded head. Nice length to neck that flows well into back, good depth to chest, straight forelegs with good bone and muscular hindquarters. Moved freely with good drive. Coat of good texture and beautifully presented.

Loved the masculinity of this boy he was strong, muscular and oozes power and confidence. He has a bright, intelligent expression and a dark eye. His head was nicely moulded, his skull was flat and moderately broad with a slight stop. His neck was of good length flowing into strong back, his chest deep and body well ribbed. He had strong straight legs with good bone and rounded tight feet. His hindquarters were muscular with good angulation and hocks well let down. He seemed to enjoy the surface, moving with enthusiasm and powerful drive. He has a fabulous coat that was beautifully presented. Pleased to award him reserve bob.

Another mature masculine boy. He has a strong very masculine head that is well moulded. Gentle temperament and soft yet intelligent expression. Medium dark brown eyes and neat well-set ears. Strong neck flowing into level topline. Good depth of chest and body well ribbed. Good strong boned throughout and neat feet. Moderately angulated hindquarters. Moved very well with good drive. Beautifully presented.

 6th month old came confidently bounding to the ring full of excitement and energy. Strongly built for such a young boy with excellent bone throughout. Broad in skull with defined stop, medium sized brown eyes with a gentle, intelligent expression. Ears good size and set. Neck clean and strong, set well into shoulders that were well laid back. Chest well developed for age. Forelegs straight and strong, hindquarters developing well with hocks well let down. Round compact feet. Distinctive labrador tail that was carried well. Once settled moved freely, straight and true in front and rear. Black short dense coat beautifully presented. Gorgeous temperament. BOB and BP

2ND 151 - Tiaja Isle of Dreams (Mrs J A Wallace)

Pretty yellow bitch, her head could have been a little broader with more defined stop. Lovely soft gentle expression to her medium sized eyes. Ears good shape and set. Chest developing, forelegs well boned and straight. Hindquarters developing well but I would have liked a little more turn of stifle. Feet round and compact. Tail thick towards base and tapering to tip. Not as positive on the move as 1. Coat short and fairly dense. Excellently presented.

Attractive 2-year-old yellow bitch. Lovely head and expression, dark eyes of pleasing size and shape, Broad skull and well-defined stop. Clean strong neck and well laid-back shoulder. She has good bone throughout, and excellent feet. Straight forelegs and well-developed hindquarters, good angulation with hocks well let down. Deep chest and well-developed body. Strong topline which she holds standing and on the move. Distinctive shaped tail set and carried well. Moves freely and positively, shown in excellent coat and condition.

Lovely black bitch who was beautifully proportioned and balanced. Gorgeous head with a broad skull, defined stop and wide nose. She has extremely expressive eyes, gentle but keen. Ears good shape and set. Neck strong and well laid-back shoulders. Deep wide chest with well sprung ribs. Strong level top line that she held standing and on the move. Forelegs well boned and straight, hindquarters well developed and muscular with good angulation and hocks well let down. Neat round compact feet. Tail wider at the base tapering to gradually to the tip carried well and never still. Her movement got better every time she was moved moving freely with excellent drive. She had a fabulous temperament so sweet natured but full of spirit. Her short dense coat was beautifully presented. Reserve BOB

A mature heavier dog who is nicely made throughout. Masculine head with broad skull and defined stop. Neck a little short but strong and powerful set into well laid-back shoulders. Deep wide chest, good rib and level topline. Forelegs strong and straight. Hindquarters muscular with good angulation and hocks well let down. Nicely shaped tail which he uses well. I thought he was carrying a fraction too much weight today which detracted from the overall picture especially on the move. Coat short and dense and well presented. A real gentleman.

Attractive bitch who is maturing well. Lovely square head is broad on top with decided occiput, heavy brow and deep stop. Dark amber eyes are a good shape and set. Fairy long thick neck into strong sloping shoulders. Her body is long well-muscled and strong with a deep chest with well sprung ribs that are carried well back. Good bone throughout with good angulation to rear with hocks well let down. Moved well. Reserve BOB

Lovely balanced bitch who really wows on side movement. She has a feminine medium sized head that is relatively broad on top with decided occiput. Sweet, intelligent expression, clean dark amber eyes that are good shape and set. She had a strong muscular body with deep chest and well sprung ribs. Shoulders sloping and legs muscular and straight with moderate bone. Hindquarters well developed with hocks low. She moves at one with her handler with good reach and drive. Moving away and back she is a little close in front and behind. Close lying silky coat was excellently presented.

Mature, masculine 5-year-old boy. He had a strong, large, square head that is broad on top, heavy in brow with deep stop and well-developed flews. Thick powerful neck leading into strong sloping shoulders. Chest is deep, ribs well sprung and carried well back. Forelegs are short and very well boned. Hindquarters muscular, powerful with good angulation and hocks well let down. Feet large and round. He moved with determination, straight fore and aft. Abundant coat was well presented. BOB

Gorgeous baby with so much promise. Pleasing balanced and compact outline. Lovely head of good proportions, skull medium length, fairly broad and slightly rounded. Flat cheeks and chiselling below eyes. Medium sized almond eyes set well with keen but kind expression. Eyes still need to darken a little. Ears good shape and set. Neck a good length, shoulders sloping. Forelegs strong and straight with good bone. Body already showing strength with straight topline that he held on the move. Moderately angulated rear with good bend of stifle and neat short hocks. Neat feet. Confident free stride. Coat developing well and beautifully presented. Reserve BOB and BP.

1ST 205 - Beresford Stand On Ceremony JW (Mrs T E Topliss)

Everything about this stunning bitch is wow. Beautifully balanced build, compact and strong with substance but still retaining elegance and femineity. Attractive head with skull of medium length, fairly broad and slightly rounded. Good stop, fluting between eyes, cheeks flat, good chiselling below eyes and fairly deep square flew. Her medium sized, dark amber, almond shaped, eyes had a gorgeous melting expression. Ears are correct shape and set and nicely feathered. Elegant but strong neck that is slightly arched leading to sloping shoulders that are well laid back. Chest is deep and well developed, ribs well sprung and loin muscular and strong. Forelegs are straight and well boned, elbows set well to the body. Hindquarters are muscular and well developed. Good angulation front and rear. Neat tight well-rounded feet. She moved effortlessly and free with swing from her shoulder and plenty of drive from rear. Her close lying straight coat was beautifully presented. A joy to judge BOB

There is a lot I like about this bitch she is beautifully balanced with a gorgeous expression. Her head was well chiselled with defined occiput, lean beneath her eyes and a long lean muzzle. Her dark hazel almond shaped eyes had such a soft gentle expression. She has a long and strong neck leading into sloping shoulders. Her chest was deep, ribs well sprung, strong loin, strong and level back. Legs were moderate length with flat bone and neat tight feet. Hindquarters strong and muscular with good angulation and hock well let down. She moved well with good drive. Beautiful liver coat has abundant feathering and was excellently presented

Another lovely liver girl with a beautiful feminine head. Well chiselled, lean beneath the eyes, slightly raised brows and moderate stop. She has wide, open, almond shaped eyes with such a lovely expression. Good length of neck leading into sloping shoulders and correct front assembly with straight legs with strong flat bone and neat feet. Nice length of back that is strong and level, deep chest and well sprung ribs, strong loin and good rear angulation. Hocks well let down. She strode out effortlessly with good drive from the rear. Coat correct texture and presented well.

 Very attractive blue roan, a well-built mature boy with real presence in the ring. He had an excellent well chiselled head, occiput well defined, lean beneath his eyes that are of correct eye shape and colour. His ears were low set and good length. Long, strong, muscular neck, forelegs straight with flat strong bone, lovely tight round feet. Deep well-developed chest, ribs of good length, back and loin strong. He held his level top line when standing and on the move. His hindquarters were strong and well-muscled with moderate bend of stifle and hocks well let down. Really lovely on the move he moved effortlessly with good reach and drive, in excellent coat and condition. Beautifully presented. BOB

Beautiful black bitch with a pretty feminine head that has that desired look of high breeding. Well chiselled, occiput well defined. Her dark hazel almond eyes are of a good shape and set with a sensitive, gentle expression. Ears set low and of good length. Neck moderately long and strong. Well balanced body, with deep chest and well sprung ribs. Back strong with good topline, well-set tail. Shoulders sloping, forelegs straights with flat bone and neat round feet. Her hindquarters were strong and muscular with good angulation. She is an easy and effortless mover with good drive. Her coat was long and flat with good feathering beautifully presented. Nicely built 7-month-old boy who has a balanced outline and is a good size for his age and already looking masculine and strong. Head was developing well with good width and balance and a moderate curve from ear to ear. Hazel eyes are a good shape and set. Ears set well and close lying. Good length of neck into strong sloping shoulders. Forelegs short and well boned, pasterns short and strong. Chest is developing well with strength to back and loin coming. Well sprung deep ribs. Hindquarters muscular for age, legs short and strong. He held his tail well. Once settled he moved confidently. Coat a lovely golden liver and developing nicely. Reserve BOB and BP

Litter sister to 1 an attractive feminine bitch with a pretty head and sweet gentle expression. Head developing well with good width, eyes and ears good shape and set. Golden liver coat beautifully presented and the most gorgeous temperament.
