Evesham and District Canine Premier Open Show 2026 12th July - Pointers, judge Emma Pressley

Thank you to the committee for my invitation to judge at their Premier open show, and thank you to all the exhibitors who entered in giving me the pleasure to judge your dogs, I had a fantastic entry of good quality. Thank you to my stewards Hazel and Gavin for your help ringside

Puppy (3)(1) Two happy puppies lovely to see!

1st Mr P & Mrs D, Mrs L Stilgoe & Fox’s Teisgol Snow Princess, Orange and white bitch of 6 and a half months. Very pretty head, dark eye rims and beautiful kind eyes, good front with elbows well developed to brisket. She has a lovely outline. Lovely bee sting tail, a bouncy puppy but did show promise when settled on the move. 

2nd Mrs A D Matthews, Sonham Brimstone, BW dog of 6 and a half months. He was a little unsettled today but a lovely puppy, he has a good shape, well placed shoulders, pasterns slightly sloping with good feet with arched toes, good turn of stifle and hocks well let down. Just needs to time to mature and settle on the move

1st Mrs R M C & Miss R Martin’s, Sunhouse Quintessential, BW dog. Lovely masculine dog with a beautiful head, stop and occipput is well defined. He has a lovely expression with kind eyes. Good neck which leads into excellent shoulders, deep chest with elbows to brisket, pasterns slightly sloping and good oval feet. He has a lovely shape with good turn of stifle, and hocks well let down, lovely movement, moved with reach and drive with a lashing tail. 

2nd Mr C, Mrs J & Miss M Oliver’s Wilchrimane Florin to Olivesong OW dog of 12 months. Strong head with kind expression, and melting eyes, correct earset, clean flowing lines with good shoulders, his elbows are developed to the brisket, fore legs have good bone and oval feet, which are well padded. He has a beautiful profile and is muscular. Good angulation and hocks well let down. Moved with driving action with a lashing tail. A very happy dog, preferred the head of 1.

1st Mrs A D Matthews’ Sonham Just A Pretty Belle (ai) JW L/W bitch she has such a beautiful expression and a very pretty head. Good shoulders and well developed front, good oval bone and pasterns sloping as required, with good oval feet which are well cushioned. She has a lovely outline with good turn off stifle and hocks well let down. She is built with flowing lines and moved beautifully with good lashing tail. RBOB

1st Mrs R M C & Miss R Martin’s Sunhouse Black T' Square One (ai) B/W. A Beautiful bitch with a lovely expression and kind eyes, lovely head with good stop, and good sized leathers. She has a beautiful clean neck leading into well placed shoulders, brisket well developed with plenty of heart room, good bone with pasterns sloping, good oval feet with cushioned toes. A lovely shape, with good angulation, turn of stifle, hocks well let down. beautiful shiny coat, excellent movement showing reach and drive with tail lashing from side to side. She had a real spark today. BOB And pleased to see her go group 2, well done! 

2nd Ms S R Philo’s Sunhouse Black Is Back at Salmonmist JW ShCEx OSW (ai) B/W another quality dog, lovely strong head with good stop, ears well set. Kind eyes, good neck and shoulder, brisket well developed, he has a lovely outline with flowing lines, good turn of stifle and hocks well let down, he is muscular throughout. Moved well covering ground and has good tail set on the move.
