Thankyou to the committee for this invitation to judge, I found the show was very well run, and the atmosphere was lovely. Thankyou to my stewards and to the exhibitors for bringing their dogs under me, it was a lovely day with lots of happy dogs.

I found all dogs entered had the correct scissor bite and all dogs displayed a good outgoing temperament.

Carringtons Caprilli Remember me

10 month old black spotted bitch. Immediately caught my eye for overall balance. She has a well proportioned head framed well with correct ear set. Correct length of neck flowing into a good forechest and shoulders well laid back. Good tight cat-like feet. Good topline into a correctly set tail, which never stopped wagging. Correct , balanced angulation. Good spotting and clean coat. She moved well with good reach and drive. Well handled. A promising puppy.

Edens Dalens Jewel in the Crown

11 month old black spotted male. Heavier in build than 1. His head is very masculine with a kind expression and nice dark eyes. Decent front into well sprung ribs. Shorter in body but maintains a good underline. Topline falls slightly over the rear and leads into a low tail set. Well-muscled. Lacking a little in angulation which affected his drive on the move. Unfortunately, coat was not in the best condition today. Handled well

Steventons Kystuno Rosemary Russett

7 year old liver spotted bitch who does not look her age at all. Balanced outline and elegant throughout. Feminine head, ears set a little back. Strong neck of good length leading into a lovely front assembly with well laid-back shoulders. Well sprung ribs. Strong topline and clean underline, correct tail set. Well angulated rear. Moved well in all directions with reach and drive Nicely decorated with spots of a good colour. In good condition and well handled.

D’allen’s Kingshaka Brown Sugar into Plutoverse

2 year old black spotted bitch. Another with a good outline who is well balanced. Pretty head of good proportions and a neck of correct length leading into a good front assembly. Tight cat like feet. Strong topline into a slightly low tail set. Well angulated rear. Moved well. Lightly spotted coat.

Warren’s Hafwenna Gulping Pixies

2 year old black spotted male. Good outline, slightly longer in frame. He has enough substance without being overdone. Well proportioned head with ears set well giving him a lovely expression. Strong neck leading into a correct front assembly with shoulder well laid back. Lovely tight cat-like feet. Strong topline and good loin. Clean underline. Well angulated rear. Although he is lightly decorated, his spotting is of good pigment. Well handled and moved true with good reach and drive and correct head carriage. He had the best rear movement going away of the day and overall this won him best of breed and I was pleased to see him short listed in a strong group.

Eden’s Steyndal Diamond white at Dalens JW

4 year old black spotted bitch. Shorter in frame overall but still has a balanced outline. Pretty head. Long neck flowing into a straight front, however does lack width of chest slightly. Well laid back shoulders and strong topline into a correct tail set. Tight feet. Moderate angulation. Lighter spotted but good pigment. Well handled. Moved well.

2nd

Davies’ Maddidalli True loves kiss

1 year old black spotted. More substance than previous but maintained a lovely outline on the stand. Although her head could be a little more feminine, it is well proportioned with a powerful muzzle and ears set correctly giving her a lovely expression. Good length of neck into a well developed front and well sprung ribs. Shoulders well laid back She has a strong topline and clean underline. Moderate and balanced angulation front and rear. Well decorated. Unfortunately she was giving her handler a tough time and was not moving her best on the out and back.
