I thoroughly enjoyed my day judging the toys at this lovely run premier open show. My sincere thanks go to the Officers and Committee for their kindness and hospitality that was extended to me during my visit. My excellent steward Bob Potts did a marvellous job and many thanks to the exhibitors who brought many of their lovely dogs under me.

Griffon Bruxellois

1.Potts Adreeam Classic Rough 9-month-old red rough with lovely large head, dark eyes, well placed nose with open nostrils and high set neat small ears. Well-balanced, square with shapely topline held on the move with well sprung ribs. Coat of excellent harsh texture and presented well. PBIB

2.Potts Adreeam Look At Me 3 year old red smooth. Nice head with round dark eyes and black nose, lovely open nostrils and dark pigment. Lively and alert. Good depth of chest and good bone. Moved steadily around the ring with good drive with small cat-like feet. Preferred the overall size and showmanship of 1.

3.Gullon Barnfall Violet

1.Gullion Barnfall Vanity just loved this 18-month-old Red Smooth Bitch who had such a happy nature with her tail always wagging at her handler. A beautiful dark mask, large dark eyes, open nostrils well placed and good turn up. Nice rear angulation and movement holding a level top linewhile moving or at stand, good width of chest, nice tight elbows. BOB

2.Potts Adreeam Secret Affair 5 and half year-old rough red in lovely condition with great movement holding his topline. Nice head with moderate width between the ears, black nose with large wide-open nostrils, dark eyes giving alert expression. Well-set tail but not carrying it as well sometimes which affects his outline.

1.Bowers Riveralca Lewis 10-month-old dog with good head, correct dark well shaped eyes and well set fringed ears. Long neck, level topline,Good skin quality finished by a well-rounded rump. Would prefer a stronger front but moved out well once going as a bit unsettled today in the ring. BOB and BPIB.

1.Bowers Riveralca Lewis See Grad

2.Bowers Bryelis I’m On My Way At Riveralca 5 and half yr old with attractive head and expression with well chiselled cheeks, low set ears with some fringing and dark almond eyes. Correct feet. Good tail set & carriage. Skin quality poor. Balanced front and rear ,table let her down today.

1.Watson Beaujolie Hot Lips lovely 7-month-old bitch, well-presented who takes the eye with a beautifully shaped head with rounded skull, large span of ears with good fringing and even blaze. Well defined stop with dark eyes and good bite. Good depth of rib holding a level topline while standing and on the move.Hare feet . Although stood alone worthy of her placement. One to watch in the future. BOB and BPIB.

1.Czyz Flaming Lamborghini Right Royal (Imp) 8-month-old black and tan bitch with coat of correct texture, which is coming in nicely. Lovely head and dark eye giving sweet expression, nice length of neck leading to level topline and correct tail carriage. Needs to body up a little and build up some confidence but I’m sure she will get there. BOB and BPIB

1.Maddison Mitapip Macallan Black and tan boy with good head decent dome, dark eye, nice width to muzzle with lovely open nostrils. Good silky coat and bright tan markings. Once going moved out well holding a level topline but not totally at one with handler today. A bit longer in back than I would prefer.

1.Maddison Justacharma Northern Magic tri dog of type and quality. Decent head and expression which is well domed with a wide muzzle. Good eyes and underjaw. Moderate length of neck which leads into a strong level topline. Well ribbed, short and strong in loin. Good tailset and well angulated behind giving a driving action which won him BOB.

1.Scott Cukoton Don’t Cry Daddy 5 yr old bitch of excellent breed type and in superb condition. Lovely head with correct proportions, black nose, slightly rounded skull and slight frontal groove. Correct topline with slight rise over the loin beautiful coat and texture, presented in immaculate condition. Well-proportioned head with a lovely expression. Black pads. Confident and sound mover, moving both ways. BOB

1.Panton Kirkara Elsie Tanner For Dunningvale 6 month-old bitch just making it into her first show. A typical Affenpinscher “look at me” attitude. Slightly domed skull with correct stop, his dark sparkling eyes and nose formed the desired equilateral triangle. Correct ear set and carriage completing the classic monkey-like expression. Coat rough and shaggy of the correct harsh texture. Compact, cobby outline with a level topline, moved out well. I could have easily took this little lady home .BPIB

1.Panton Guereza Goody Goody Yum Yum Lovely 2 yr old boy beautifully balanced, short back, deep body and well ribbed, good bone, level topline and tail set on, correct coat. Correct head with good ear placement, dark eye, good muzzle with nice turn up. Movement straight and correct. BOB

1.Reeve Gillings Whinsome Winnie 6-month bitch with correct bite, lovely narrow wedge shaped head with well set candle – flame shaped ears and dark almond eyes. Well arched neck and nice shoulder with elbows close to body. She moved well with a lovely extended trot. BPIB

1.Dixon Ch Lasagesse Kashmir JW I couldn’t keep my eyes of this lovely girl when she entered the ring. 2 yrs old of lovely breed type. Good wedge shape head with erect and well placed correct ears ,a dark almond shaped eye with correct dentition and great nose pigment .lovely shape both standing and on the move with excellent angulation ,compact and well balanced body with well set tail and nice rounded loin .Good colours with definite thumbprints. Moved well with the beautiful extended trot. Shown in excellent coat and gleaming condition and well handled. BOB

2.Dixon Am Ch Cottage Lakes Lasagesse American Pie (Imp USA) another lovely 15-month dog soundly constructed with a nice outline. Strong head with small dark eyes and alert expression. Not as well schooled as 1 and preferred 1’s movement .

1.Richardson Hollinsclose Love Machine nicely presented 15 month soundly made bitch with typical head and expression. Dark round eyes, ears of correct length, good ribs and very decent forehand. Nicely arched neck, strong well-muscled hindquarters, beautifully balanced and shows to advantage with her handler. BOB

1.Richardson Melcia Right Said Fred For Hollinsclose 2 year old dog lovely size and balance. Well ribbed body, strong short loins with typical head containing appealing eyes. Shown in excellent condition with correct textured coat. Good rear angulations and in excellent condition.
