1st Schoneville Balvenie Shona 

6mth puppy very raw but lovely shape showing lovely clean outline & elegant outline. Such a pretty head and expression, good shape ear to ear with occiput defined, deep muzzle without pendulous flews. Good length ears sitting nicely low on head. Good dentition. Nice arch to neck leading into good forequarters with correct moderate back length and good strong hindquarters with muscling coming on as expected from this age. BP

2nd Smith Bournehouse Secret Sunset of Meadowrush 

Older than the winner. Front not quite as good as 1st in movement. Nice head and shape to it with good skull shape of oval from ear to ear. Square muzzle and flowing into good long muscular neck. Strode out well from rear just would like cleaner front movement.

1st Seaman Mariglen Indigo 

5 yrs old enjoying his day. Lovely length of back to height to give correct outline on stack. Good feet nicely arched and tight. Good spring of rib and arched loin, muscular allowing good rear drive. BOB

2nd Smith Lara from Valjevo Green Fields of Meadowrush (Imp SRB) Int JCH

Not as flowing as 1st, slightly wide in front so not the reach that I would like to see on movement. Head a bit course, good neck and shoulder angulation. Shorter in back than 1st.

1st Gammon Glenbrows Opera D’Arte JW

15mths – lovely noble head with good eye colour for coat and oval shape. Moderately wide between ear. good front and lovely straight legs, elbows close fitting, strong pasterns sitting on good rounded, arched feet. Good rear angulation with correct tail set and well let down hock. Moved with drive.

1st Carter Lindenwood Cast a Spell at Madarkutya

Smaller throughout but within breed height and still showing the robust distinguished appearance. Proportioned so well and lovely shape and refinement to her. Lovely tight feet with good arch. Moved well in front but slightly wide in rear, but had lovely drive and covered the ground well. 

2nd Gammon Glenbrows Opera D’Arte JW

1st Gammon Glenbrows Reminiscent

3yrs old and settling into body well now. Gives a pleasing outline sitting on good legs and lovely arched feet, however nails were too long so did spoil the overall shape of the foot. Head had a lovely regal expression and good proportions. Good dentition. Shoulders muscular with close elbows giving the lovely elegant trot on the move. Nicely muscled. BOB

1st Stevenson Gwendariff Cracklin Rosie for Locklorien (IKC)

I liked this youngster alot. Length of back and height gave a lovely balanced outline on the stack. Good depth of chest and well sprung ribs, good loin and rear angulation, tail set good. Moved out well . 

2nd Shepherd Casachared Joleens Lady Red 

Slightly bigger throughout but still a nice outline to her, heavier in bone and her head was a bit heavy for me. Moved ok and strode out well.

1st Corless Swiftlark Invincible JW 

 On the bigger side but again lovely shape. Head I liked with good shape to it and refined long and lean without coarseness. Nice front legs on good feet, ribs well sprung leading to good loin and rear angulation. Good hocks 

2nd Shepherd Casachared Mr Delaneys Son 

3rd from previous class. Good dark coat very much old fashioned in shape and coat colour. Tail set a bit too low so loosing the outline. Dentition not as neat as I would like.

1st Corless Swiftlark Spellbinder ShCex 

Another from the larger scale – looses topline when overstretched on the stack but ok once settled and sitting into frame. Lovely front and angulation, hock slightly long and nails need cutting back to show the correct foot shape. Moved well and gained his BOB on that. 

2nd Dale Trefaine Aurora of Aubanjon 

Very feminine and pretty, just would like more length of leg to height to give more floor clearnce under. Better feet and a very lovely feminine head.

1st James Affilato Game on 

Lovely shape to her on stack, showing good robust & square shape. Topline nicely sloping from withers with a slight arch over loin. Good broad chest of good depth to elbow. Thigh broad and good bend of stifle. Once settled on the move strode out well. BP

2nd McGrory Javal Same Old Scene with Fuoriditesta 

Bigger throughout but still a lot to like. Stood on good feet with strong round with arched toes. Felt eyes a bit loose but still only a youngster so time on side. Moved out well holding correct topline on the move.

Nice shape on stack with correct flow over loin. Neck of good muscle and flowing nicely into shoulder of good length and well laid back. Good front legs with correct oval bone. Feet ok and slightly lighter eye.

Lovely firm powerful structure, held well on the move with good muscle tone throughout. Good front and lovely tight rounded feet. Nice head with kind expression. Good dentition. Strong and muscular holding well on the move. BOB

Similar comments to both as litter sisters. Would prefer more substance to both as a lighter frame throughout. Would like to see more depth of chest to give a better outline but as only youngsters time to mature up fully. Preferred the outline and movement 1 as 2nd lost topline on the move.

1st SH Ch Quilesta Simply Exquisite 

Lovely outline in profile showing good athletic appearance with great muscle tone throughout. Lovely topline held well on the move, giving a really clean movement front and rear, looks good on any angle. BOB

2nd Simpson Ekkolander Persephone Red at Leriton 

Nice clean movement coming but slightly wide going away. Would prefer slightly more substance throughout. Nice head and kind expression. Good neck and shoulder.

1st Stilgoe & Fox Teisgol Snow Princess 

A smaller girl but a lovely shape to her I would just like a wee bit more throughout. Head of good shape skull of medium width with good length to muzzle. Good eye colour. Good dentition. Stood on good feet with straight bone, strong long pasterns.  

2nd Matthews Sonham Brimstone 

A lovely shape on the stack, just legs and head not quite working as 1 on the move! Plenty of time to settle and did get better on each time round the ring.

1st Oliver Wilchrimane Florin to Olivesong 

Lovely shape on stack and held beautifully on the move, lovely front action showing good stride and moved out well. Well sprung ribs leading to arched loin, short and firm leading into well angled rear, allowing for great drive from the rear. Head of good proportions and not over done in any way, kind eye and expression. BOB & put on a fabulous performance for Gundog Group 2 

2nd O’Neil Tenshilling Hello Stranger 

Really nice but just heavier all throughout than 1. Moved well but just not the length in stride as 1.

1st Matthews Sonham Just good Friends (AI) JW 

I really liked her shape and strength to her, graceful but with strength. Such a kind eye and expression with correct eye colour for coat. Long muscular neck leading to well laid back shoulder, sitting on good front legs with enough width between. Chest wide and ribs well sprung. Moved with class around the ring. 

2nd Giles Piacente Mocia at Miavita 

Much heavier boy throughout, feet good, tight and oval with arched toes, nice shape but would prefer a slightly less broad head.

Lovely style and shape on the stack. Moved true and sound for and aft. Head of good depth and shape with kind eyes. Neck strong and muscular leading into sloping shoulders well laid back. Nice tight feet of good size and shape. Moved with drive from rear. 

2nd Matthews Sonham Just the Ticket (AI) JW 

Stood taller than 1 and not quite dropped into body as yet, making him not quite so tidy in movement at the moment. However again another one of great shape and style and can see going forward once fits into himself will settle more on the move. The floor at the venue is unforgiving and many dogs find it hard on them.

Liked the length and height of this one – giving a good impression on stack. Preferred front angulation to 2nd , sitting on good legs with strong rounded feet. Moved true front and back. BP & Puppy Group 4 

2nd Salt Culcrieff’s Ferntower Glen of Wetnoses 

Slightly straighter in front than 1 and sitting tall on the leg, needing to drop down into body. Kind expression with good colour giving an intelligent expression. Good dentition.

Larger throughout but in proportion. Moved freely and flowing round the ring to win the class and BOB. Lovely head shape with enough broadness with slight stop and good length of muzzle. Deep chest of good breadth, sitting on good legs with good bone and straight, feet round and nicely arched. BOB

2nd Salt Levelmoor Acorn Antiques Via Wetnoses 

Narrower at front than 1 and not as good in forechest. Moved ok round the ring .

Good straight topline held well on the move and in stack. Good length of leg giving good ground clearance. Head nicely balanced with broad skull with no coarseness. Muzzle strong and good width. Correct dentition. Eyes of good dark colour and nicely set apart giving a good expression and shape to the face. Muscular neck leading to well laid back shoulders, legs nicely sitting under the body showing good angulation to front. Back of good length and leading to good rear end and strong 2nd thigh. Good hocks and cat like feet. Moved with drive. 

2nd Riley Strettonhills Quevega 

Very pretty girl with a lot to like about her, head and expression lovely with good eye set and colour, foreface equal to stop to occiput so giving the correct shape in profile. Eyes nice and dark and set well apart. Good dentition. Muscular neck sitting into good shoulders, deep chest. Just not the movement of 1.

1st Moore Tenfield Klipspringer with Auryngra SGWC WGC

A lot to like about this one, presented in fabulous condition with muscle and strength throughout. At first glance the outline is as you want, symmetrical, balanced and with a powerful active look & didn’t disappoint on going over. Head of correct proportions balanced fore and in skull with good chiseling but not course. Good eye colour and set, giving a lovely expression and shape, dark nose. Good dentition. Good short coupled body allowing the great movement round the ring as held well together with good muscle and tone throughout. Nice hocks and sitting on good feet. BOB & Gundog Group 3

1st had a better floor clearance to height of leg. Nice and firm body with good movement, holding topline on the move well. Head a bit strong for me but lovely eye set and colour with good expression. Neck of good length and muscular, leading to ok forequarters. Deep ribs and short coupled. Sitting on good tight feet. 

2nd Bufton & Riley Phoslas Polly Flinders

Didn’t quite have the ground clearance as 1st and lost topline on the stack. Lovely head and expression with good eye set and colour, strong rear skull but not overdone. Legs strong and straight sitting on good feet, would just prefer more muscle tone throughout.

1st Smith Flyenpyg Swynona Ryder

6mths black lab – like on first look at didn’t disappoint going over strongly built with muscle tone throughout showing a very active and happy dog with a constant wagging tail, synonymous with the breed. Lovely head of good breadth with clean cut cheeks. Eyes of lovely expression showing intelligence and exudes the fabulous temperament expected of this breed. Especially loved the rear drive and action of this young puppy, tail set good and carried well. BP & BP Group 3 

2nd Young Fourjays Diones Destiny 

Again another smart looking one with lovely clean outline standing on good legs placed nicely under body to allow for good reach at front. Good bone and straight legs. Just preferred the feet on 1 .

Percival Fourjays Hold up a Light 

Nice compact shape showing great strength and endurance through the body and condition. Leg clearance height good, with solid straight front legs and good feet, would like a little more length in upper arm to give a better front angulation if being hyper critical. Again moved with drive and lovely tail action set on well.

Smith Flyenpyg Jurgen Chopp JW 

Stood out for shape and style, so balanced and strength, showing great muscle tone allowing him to hold his frame on the stack and movement. Lovely depth to chest with adequate width and spring. Topline held well both stacked and in movement as the tone and strength in the body allows this. Good arched toes and round shape. Moved so well round with good drive and straight front and back – a joy to see him move. BOB

Just in puppy still as coming to that age when they change and everything starts to fit correctly into place and the legs and head start working together. Lovely bone and structure, clean front and good angulation, elbows nice and close and good reach of neck well muscled and medium length. Head with correct wedge shape and not too broad. Lovely almond eyes of good colour and correct set. Moved freely round the ring. BP

2nd Morse Sinsircariad Celtic Dragon 

I see from the catalogue they are litter siblings and not surprised as they were very similar and similar comments apply. I just preferred the head and feet of the winner, but a close call between them.

1st Morse Eusanit Celtic Sea at Sinsircariad 

Really lovely shape on stack nothing over done and good angulation front and rear. Drove well on the move with good hocks sitting on lovely tight rounded feet. Deep chested and nice spring of rib, muscled rear and correct stifle angulation. Loved the expression and head shape. 

2nd Rice Tamaria Juniper Berry 

Smaller throughout but sill a lovely shape, out of coat at the moment. Moved with good drive and reach. Liked the neck and front assembly which showed strength.

1st Morse Sh Ch Eusanit Ever Fallen in Love

Loved the shape and stance of this one, really exudes breed type. Head of good shape slightly rounded but with width and lovely wedge shape in profile. Good almond shaped eyes of correct colour with a lovely alert expression. Powerful throughout and lovely muscle tone throughout to allow for freeflowing movement. BOB

2nd Gregory Exetollers What’s this (Intro Ex) 

A taller dog that 1st and slightly narrow in front. Moved with driver from rear and covered the ground well.

1st Hodgkinson-Rutherford & Rutherford Rainethyme Rerite the Rules for Chanderhill JW

He may have been the only Spanish Water Dog but wow what a cracker he was – absolutely exudes breed type, robust firm construction with good muscle tone just as you want for the breed. Coat of good texture. Head showing an elegance with strongness to it, flat skull behind eye with slight stop and good length of foreface to skull length. Such an expressive eye lovely colour in keeping with the coat. Body compact and powerful, level topline held well on both stack & on the move. Nice deep chest with well sprung rib, slightly longer in back than height so giving a lovely outline from any angle – delighted to award BOB and later on Gundog Group 1 where he really put on a fabulous performance to win a hotly contested Group.

Good size presenting a lovely clean outline, with balance. Movement today was a bit haphazard but only a youngster so time to settle down and as said before the floor there is quite unforgiving for youngsters especially. Head of good length and a good air about her, prominent occiput, round eyes of good colour.

Loved this one’s presence in the ring, strong muscle tone throughout holding a good topline in stack and movement covering the ground well with smooth stride. Head of good proportions and very kind eye and lovely expression, correct round shape eye. Straight front legs sitting on good compact feet nicely arched. BOB

2nd Pilatova Sabsky Svratka JW 

Lacking in muscle tone throughout so did not see the powerful movement needed in this breed. Lovely shape to her and good outline but just preferred the substance and movement of 1 .

Chesapeake Bay Retriever – lovely substance and breed type. Standing on good feet, kind expression with good eye colour. Deep in body with firm topline and good tail set. BP

1st Curlycruz Wild Flower at Frommesbeck 

Lagotto Romagnolo – 1st thing in my notes state temperament fantastic!! Such a happy girl who I just adored. Lovely balance to her, nothing exaggerated in any way just flowing through. Head texture good, and coat just settling as a puppy still. BP

Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer – good shape, enough strength but not over done. Good coat. Nice depth of chest and correct spring of rib. Well angulated rear with good firm thigh, good hocks and straight pasterns showing strength – moved well with good reach and drive . BOB

Cocker Spaniel, just loved him & seeing his name to aptly named. Showed in great condition and loved his attitude and ever wagging tail, just as you want in the cocker. Expression was of intelligence but with a twinkle that you couldn’t fail to fall for. Moved with drive using the firm condition of him to power round the ring. 

2nd Wilkins Sh Ch Quilesta Simply Exquisite 

BOB from breed class but just pipped at the post in Veteran to the fabulous happy cocker who just shone in the class.
